Hello, this is DarkEnigma. (Okay, fine, you've twisted my arm- my name is actually Rebecca Sharee, but you can call me DarkEnigma, Rebecca, Sharee, Becky, or heck, even Beck (yes, like the musician, but I'm female and I called dibs on the name long ago. lol)

Alright, first things first, if my writing is terrible, please let me down easy. I really hate it when someone can't keep their hateful opinion to themself. I'm okay with constructive criticism, as that is often times helpful, but I see no reason to put anyone down, even if their writing isn't all that great. This is the reason I try to keep all of my reviews positive and optimistic. I truly believe that there isn't enough kindness in the world, so I try to help people all I can. Anyway, enough of my ranting.

About Me- I am a 28 year old introvert. I don't have an easy time making conversation, but if you have a problem, I'm always there to listen. (I'm much better at listening than I am at talking.) I love the written world and will read mostly anything, as long as I find it relatively interesting. I have been writing for years, but I've never written anything even remotely good enough to be published. Plus, I often suffer from writers block, which prevents me from finishing an original work, but I digress.

I'm from a small town in Kentucky, the wonderful bluegrass state. (And no, the grass isn't actually blue where I live. lol) I grew up in a county in the eastern portion of the state, where the majority of the mountains are. A fact, I suppose, that contributes to my love of nature and animals. A few years ago, however, I moved from my childhood residence to what some would call the central part of the state. So, now I call this place home, and I go back to visit my family when I can.

I'm the youngest of three children. I have an older brother and sister, both are married and have been for some time. I have one little, brillant nephew, who is nine years old. He can name most any superhero and give you said hero's complete backstory, as well as list all of his 'powers'. Plus he has a knack for anything scientific.

At the age of five, I was diagnosed with type one juvenile diabetes. It's been a struggle to overcome throughout the years, but I've learned to deal with it, and I am doing quite well as of right now. I was born on March 22nd (I share a birthday with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, William Shatner, and Reese Witherspoon, as well as one of my aunts.) I am also a religious person. I was born into and raised in a Christian family, with Christian values and beliefs, therefore I try to live my life as a Christian. (Note-There may be some swearing in my stories but I DO NOT curse in real life. Also, I'm not the type to preach to people, so you don't have to worry about me trying to push my religion on you in my stories or here.)

I am extremely fond of music and singing! Any and almost all music piques my interest! I listen to quite a variety of genres and artists-

Disturbed, Evanescence, Korn, Creed, Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park, Green Day, Adele, Sarah Brightman (her song 'Fluer Du Mal' is my favorite of her work), I also love anything from the classic opera's or classical works like "Der Holle Rache" from Die Zauberflote by Mozart, or "Nessun Dorma" from Turandot, Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata", "Toccata & Fogue in D Minor" by Johann Sebastian Bach, "Danse Macabre" by Camille Saint Saens, "Lacrimosa" from Mozart's Requiem, Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Cradle of Filth ("The Death of Love" is my favorite by this group), Muse, AFI, Avenged Sevenfold, Coldplay, the music from "The Phantom of the Opera" ("Music of the Night" is my favorite), Creedence Clearwater Rivival, AC/DC, Guns 'N' Roses, Van Halen, Blue Oyster Cult, The Who, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne (the solo career), Aerosmith, The Animals, Bon Jovi, Heart, The Eagles, Nirvana, Micheal Jackson, some Britney Spears-honestly not all that much, some Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, Johnny Cash, George Jones, (a few of the older country artists, as you can see...not really a huge fan of today's country), Martina McBride, The Dixie Chicks, Brad Paisely, Allison Krauss, Vince Gill, and several more artists.

I would continue with the above list, but something tells me that it might take up all of the room on this page, so I'll shut up.

"Man of a Thousand Faces"), and 'sound films'- Dracula, Frankenstein, The Old Dark House, Freaks, George Romero's Night of the Living Dead, The Last Man on Earth starring Vincent Price.
