Hello there! :)

My name is Maryam. I'm form Egypt. (I know what most of you are probably thinking right now.."Ooh Egypt, camels and tents and pyramids and stuff! Whoa..Wait, how can she type in English?! Does she even OWN a computer?!") Well, news flash, this is NOT how life is in Egypt. We live a pretty normal life here, we live in houses or appartments, we use cars, buses, subways, trains and planes for transportation. We all have telephones, cellphones, TV sets, sattelite..And lots of us have cellphones, computers, ipods... So, it's pretty normal for alot of us to know English (Some of us also speak French and German..Plus Arabic of course.)

So moving on, I'm in high school right now -which is not as hard as I thought it would be- . I live with my parents, no siblings. I absolutely love singing, reading, writing, acting and listening to music. I have ALOT of friends but just six ultimate best friends Sarah S., Shereen, Shada, Sarah R., Menna and Leena.

I've discovered this site probably more than one year ago and I've always wante to create an account, but I guess I was too hesitant, or intimidated...Nah, I'm just lazy. Anyway this is my favourite site and I've read hundreds and hundreds of stories in it.
