Love is a child playing happily in the park, while his parents fight

Love is a man and his dog, roaming the streets homeless

Love is a star burning so bright, but only to die

Love is hope, with fear

Love is the sunny days, with a high chance of rain.

What should I do with this love of mine?

I want to protect everything that is you, I want to snatch you away.

I want to melt into you, I want us to be forever.

Am I the shield that protects you?

Or the sword that stabs you?

Am I your best friend?

Or your worst enemy?

When I told you I love you, was it a dream?
