Future AU fic. Santana is happy living in New York, teaching music at a high school and living right around the corner from her two best friends; Brittany, and Rachel. Then some blonde chick comes to town with her stupid cupcakes of the Gods.

Santana is finally getting used to her life in the city when Quinn unexpectedly shows up at their door, forcing both of them to deal with their new feelings for one another. (Starts off more on the soft and light end, although as the story goes on there's some angst and drama mixed in with fun and romance. Basically, it has a little bit of everything.)

Santana enters her parents' local Starbucks with her favourite book, just like she does every Christmas Eve, expecting a peaceful afternoon in her own company. Quinn decides, spur of the moment, to treat herself to a coffee after a long morning at work. The two meet under unusual circumstances, but it is the season of goodwill, after all.
