Hi, all, I'm a 20 year old college student. I'm currently attending Gettysburg College and I'm a member of a fraternity on campus, so writing, while I love it, has become secondary in my life (as evidenced by the stories that have gone unfortunately unfinished). I'm a Mathematics major, but I've started taking some writing courses, and with those writing courses, I've been inspired to start to write again. I want to work on a novel, but until I feel I'm ready to do so, and even once I do begin, I'm going to be back on here and writing again.

My current project is "A Lifelong Career", a story that features a timeline featuring Fox McCloud if he had accepted the position offered to him to enter the Cornerian military by General Pepper. He refuses to stay in the job that he's given and shortly after leaves to join Star Wolf, the only other mercenary band that he has any knowledge or respect for in the Lylat System. It's going to chronicle Lylat in its current calendar up through the Aparoid invasion and potentially Anglar Blitz. I may also include the Saurian crisis, but that's less likely due to the nature of that mission being entirely ground-based (and I want to avoid constant ground basis for missions). It will be updated in bursts as I'm able to write, but in the case that I become busy, it may go on an unexpected hiatus, but it will return and be completed.

The overarching goal I have with "A Lifelong Career" isn't actually the plot. The plot is secondary to creating an immersive world. I want the characters to be believable, the situations to only be partially pushing the limits of the reality created by this world. Since this story is chronicling a lot of events, and following a handful of characters, I think focusing too hard on individual plot points will make the characters a little less important in the long run. I'll be focusing largely on Fox, the Star Wolf Team (Wolf and Leon), the Star Fox Team (Falco, Peppy, and Slippy), Fara Phoenix, Bill Grey, as well as a small handful of characters created for the story (Stephanie Perot in particular)

Additionally, as I'm able (and when I need a short break from this story), I will be updating and rewriting some of my stories. This may include some of the single-chapter stories as well, but my current priority list entails: "On the Rocks", "Second Chances", "A B C", "F Sharp", "Spark", "Recuperation", then "Star Crossed". I won't be redoing stories that are considered complete and in a good state ("Wait for Me", "Star Fox: New Warrior", "Carpe Diem" etc.)

I haven't been around in a while so I'm not gonna act like I know what's going on in the fandom, but I just want to put out content for people to enjoy. I greatly appreciate reviews and they do give me incentive to continue my stories because that's the confirmation that people are enjoying my work.
