Hello people of Earth,

My name is Aki hanyou.

I am a girl, graduated from high school a few years ago and just going through the motions of college and life. I'm away for long periods of time, but that's what happens when you grow up. Who knew it would be so time consuming to be an adult. Anyways, I live in California, but I don't do much other than hang out with friends and travel (due to work).

I love anime and manga, reading, baking treats and traveling. Specially meeting new people, eating different foods and trying/learning new things.

I do write stories, but I'm really shy about my work. I do not show anyone until it's finished. Which is why I love reading the stories that others write. It gives me ideas and makes me want to write more.

Things about me:

1) I read from every genre and every subject. (That doesn't mean I like them all)

2) My favorite color is chartreuse green.

3) I love strawberries and chocolate, but I do not like chocolate covered strawberries. (I'm weird like that)

4) I used to be coffeeholic. (It's a real condition!)

5) Suggestions for stories/books/anime/manga to read are certainly welcome.

What I like:

Doing something exciting, going places, meeting people. (There are days when I cannot for the life of me sit still)

Hanging out with my friends and being able to act childish and idiotic. (Basically being free to be me without being negatively criticized by society)

Learning new things about everything. (Seriously if I go on a game show of random stuff I may win with all the useless knowledge I have stored in my brain)

What I hate:

Being alone for long periods of time. (I need social interaction with other life forms)

Horror movies, horror games or horror books. (I can't sleep after getting anything scary in my mind)

Not knowing something that everyone else knows. (Mostly it's because I'm nosy about stuff)

Why you should care?

Actually, you don't have to care.

I just want to see all the different writing styles people use and take some inspiration for my own. There are always those small details that you can't figure out and there is always writers block. Reading other peoples work gives inspiration or at least ideas for how to go about a story.

Like I said before, I love reading. Fanfictions count too. I just get so upset when an author takes a hiatus or doesn't update in months because then the suspense starts killing me!! It's worse when they haven't updated for years and I'm still holding out hope that they will update.
