Author has written 6 stories for Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Doctor Who. One of those pesky teenagers. Perky and depressed by turns. But then, who isn't? I just don't let it go to my head. If I might take a moment out for a quick physiological note, sugar actually does not give as great a physical buzz as people formerly believed. It does indeed boost energy levels, but not for any lasting period of time and certainly never to the great extreme that some of the more...enthusiastic authors on ff.net seem to advocate. Therefore, I will not accept "WHEE SUGAR!" as an excuse for bad writing. Actually, I don't accept any excuse for bad writing, but the "I'M SO HYPER LOLZ!" type really trips my trigger. I also have an account by the same penname at fictionpress.com. Check it out, stroke my ego; it kinda purrs if you do it right: www.fictionpress.com/~stormkarstark Bit of a penchant for Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Yes, I know typical teen, yadda yadda yadda...but really, I'm not. Why, you ask? Well, for one thing, I am the nitpickiest grammarian imaginable. For another, I can use spell check, which is such a foreign concept these days. If you're searching for a beta, let me know and I'll give it a shot. For me, good grammar and spelling = pride in your work. And if you're not proud of your work, why bother posting it in the first place? Oh, and I've also read the books; it floors me that people can't even do that before considering themselves "fans". Movie =/= canon! Age: 18. I feel ancient, considering all the supposed thirteen-year-olds running around unchecked on this site. College sophomore, come August. High school angst? Once you get on the other side, it's laughable. Don't come to me with your anti-establishment 'tude, kiddies; I'll laugh you out of town. That's all I have to say about that.
