The Great Fire of London in 1666 has burned parts of London down to the ground is nothing but ashes. A young girl, by the name of Cosette, survived the fire and has a secret wish that demons could grant her in exchange for her soul, but not even the demons know of her wish. Years passed and her name evolved into Cosette Trancy, the first Trancy of the household.
