Taking into color coordination and personality, I'd say . . .

Gintoki. SO Atobe. And someday Gin-chan's sword will talk, and when it does, I confidently expect to hear "Usu".

Hiyoshi. Takasugi. Both bitter, alienated, and ready to overthrow everything. Doesn’t it look like Takasugi is yelling “Gekokujo!!” in his head?

Katsura, Shisido. Both intense and unyielding and the cutting of their hair signals major plot drama. Just wait for when Katsura points to someone and says “geki dasu daze”. You know he’s thinking it.

. . .which would make Elizabeth Choutarou. Well, they both support their significant others and are . . .pale . . . .

Sakamoto! Cute, ditzy and usually either unconscious or hyper . . . very Jirou-esque.

Which leaves Shinpachi & Kagura as the Dirty Pair ‘cause . . . Shinpachi has glasses and Kagura has red hair?

. . . . Well okay, I can see at least see Shin-chan dreaming of being Oshitari . . . .

Yeah, I've been thinking about things like this instead of finishing my planned stories . . . .
