Having seen most of the Twilight series twice, looked at the entire Twilight book series at least 20 times from cover to cover...ok I didn't say I read them, I looked at them from cover to cover in various nooks and crannies throughout my house (I think one even supported a bed frame..shhh don't tell my wife, as she is a die-hard Twi Maven and fanfic author/interviewer. Besides, I could never actually read any of the Twilight series as she will not let them out of her hands. I have come to be known as one of the "supportive" few-Twi Hubs.

I admire all of you in Fanficland. Way better than Farmville (puppy stealing crop withering theives)as you have a community and...the FanFic is amazing.

I first found out how fast word can spread, when my wife interpreted a Rob Pattinson interview into English from Finnish for RobPattzNews in April/10. 4 MILLION views later, I realized that the community is enormous.

I have read FanFic that is so good I just look at it and go "this should be a screen play" or "this should be a published book". It's that good.

Then there is the Beta's, readers and entire community of fictionista's that seriously are what makes their world go around.

My wife writes beautifully. I have been so proud of her, watching her dive passionately and I mean Passionately (pant, nudge, wink) into fanfic.

There are a bunch of guys out there are wondering... who abducted my wife/Girlfriend/sibling/Mother (if they are all the same person than you have a bit of a problem bro) as they watch them craft their words and Twitter their hearts and entwine their souls around this passion. My advice to them is, chill out. Be the object of their research. It can be um...rewarding.

So Here I am. The first piece of fan fic after my wife's was the most teary eyed work I've ever laid eyes on...it was that funny. Mrs_TheKing had written this absolutely hilarious work called Gynazole. Her humour and wit was so over the top, I found it to be the singularly most hilarious thing I ever read. Which was really needed as we were going through some extremely tough "shadow of death" times.

So her FanFic was therapeutic. So... Mrs TheKing, I offer a 21-fart salute, seriously you deserves a 'poolitzer' prize. Don't even get me started on casts, slim jims, and flaming sausage. We will leave it at that.

Then there were other BNA's which I learned weren't short form for Bananas but Big Name Authors. I'd name drop them but I won't mention an author unless I've read their work.

Oh yeah, I'm not supposed to mention the 26,000 hits on her tweet story (A Tweet Story) as it is not what it's about - she is convinced that it was probably 10 people visiting repeatedly. It's about the one person, who likes, reads, contributes and comments on a story that makes it all worth while.

Ok the end result of this whole thing is that I finally did my own one shot story. It's being posted for support of Fandom Sexual Assault Awareness.

Finally a bit of a rant:

I had no idea what all the fuss was about -this Edward guy, and this Jacob washboard ab's guy, seems to get a lot of attention around here. Suffice to say I apparently have "Edward Hands" which I daily dip in buttermilk, wrap in avocado and olive oil as they um, can be useful. This has created a problem with my computer keyboard being gummed up with old avocado, but well worth it.

Now listen, the washboard ab's have to be fake. They are implants. I'm trying to get some for myself but I have to lose about 50 pounds first. Just saying.

And Edward, sheesh. The guy is seriously an old dude, robbing the cradle. It would be like a 90 year old dating a 2 year old. Just saying. Not that I'm jealous-much.

AND QUIT TRASHING BELLA! You all say the poor girl is nothing but trouble. The reason you all hate her is because "HE" likes her. It may help you to cope if you knew the deep reason behind his love for her... food. He is really hungry and she just be the fast food he's looking for. Which certainly beats Wendy's, Harvey's and McDonald's (bland, tasty, and goes right through you - in that order).
