Hiccup has erased all his former life in Berk. Still the worst Viking in all of vikinging, he and his trusted Night Fury fly off after an event at Berk only to be attacked and then saved by none other than the Gods themselves. What will happen and what do the Gods see in this small boy that he himself cannot see. In the process of revising it! Rated T for language.

So, this story rose out of my head-canon for Mikey's reasoning for his bragging about the Battle Nexus and it quickly turned into a little mini story. So, when the Battle Nexus comes around again, Michelangelo's title has finally been taken from him but the results are not what anyone expected.

When Hiccup get's a minor injury in a fall while out looking dragons, Astrid finds herself wishing she knew what to do in such emergency cases. She decides to take up learning medicine from Gothi, and it's a good thing she takes the precautions, for her healing skills are going to be needed sooner then she wanted or expected. Astrid has a complicated history with vampires. A Hunter, she's trained from a young age to kill them. The chance to take down Hiccup Haddock, a vampire heir? She doesn't hesitate. What if Valka had not been taken so early in Hiccup's life? What if she managed to bear Stoick another son nine years after their first before disappearing?
