Andy and Miranda's lives are suddenly turned upside down by some shocking news that has long-reaching consequences for both of them. An entry for the July Fic-a-thon over on LJ.

When Nigel calls Miranda and informs her that Andrea is just as in love with her as she is with Andrea, Miranda knows she has to act quickly and decisively. Miranda hates the phrase 'can we talk.' It never leads to good things, and almost always leads to heartbreak above all else. When Andrea comes into her study and asks her to talk, Miranda fears the worst but prays this time will be different.

Miranda and Andy don't consider themselves jealous people. It's a foolish emotion after all. Yet, they find themselves jealous anyway, made even more foolish by the fact that they seem to be jealous of inanimate objects, but when a spoon or a pair of glasses get to touch the other's lips when they don't, well, they just can't seem to help themselves.

Andy's finally been promoted to First Assistant, and it's been finding hard to keep a new second assistant. Just when she thinks she's found one, Nigel strides in a tells her she won't last a day and Andy bets that she will. She, of course, loses and now she has to flirt with Miranda for the entire day. She's pretty sure she's going to die, but not before she takes Nigel with her.

Miranda and Andrea's path cross most unexpectedly four years after saying goodbye. Will start as general audience but will gain mature content as the story progresses.

When the twins bother her about wanting a tumblr, Miranda investigates by making a tumblr of herself. She finds that it's a good way to pass the time and continues to long on. Until she comes across a photo that isn't from one of her authorized shoots and follows if back to a blog where there are more. She goes on a mission to find who runs this blog, and the answer surprises her.

Miranda's personally picked out a dress for Andy to wear to the next gala they're attending, but Andy can't accept without delving into a past she doesn't want to remember.

The twins convince Miranda to attend New York City Comic Con with them and even convince her to dress up as the Evil Queen no less. Miranda indulges them, if only to make them happy. There she sees someone she didn't expect, someone she hasn't seen in the three years since she walked away in Paris, Andrea Sachs.

Miranda is used to things going wrong at shoots. She is after all a perfectionist and only the slightest thing can mess up everything. However, she's used to models or photographers being the problem, not a bird, and especially not on her shoulder.

It's Miranda's birthday and Andy and the twins are planning a surprise, but it may just end up being them who are surprised. Eventual Mirandy.

I proudly present my version of Little Orphan Annie, but with a MirAndy Twist. I have chosen to cherry pick between the 1982, 1999, and the newest 2014 versions. Hopefully this will be a success.

Miranda could kick herself for forgetting the proofs from the Cannes photo shoot, but she's still out so she returns to Runway before all is lost. She knows at least some of her staff will be there, but she doesn't expect anyone to be singing, least of all Andrea.

The September issue is three days away from print and the only time Andy and the girls are going to get to see Miranda in that three days is at dinner. Caroline, though, is still holed up in the bathroom and Andy goes to get her. When she hears a crash from behind the door she's not quite ready for what she finds nor the memories from her past that it brings back.

Once a year on the anniversary of the first issue of Runway Miranda throws a party for the staff and it's the highlight of everyone's year. Except Andy wants nothing to do with it. She wants to be at home in her pjs with Chinese food and away from anything resembling a party. Things get worse when a toast happens and Miranda notices she's the only one in the room who doesn't drink.

"My whole life I've been struggling with body image problems. It's funny, more ironic than anything really, that Miranda Priestly of all people, the woman who causes half the world to have such issues, has them herself. I never found that quite as amusing as everyone else would." Miranda finally comes to a point where she has to tell Andrea her most well kept secret.

Miranda thinks of Andrea as a wholesome Midwestern girl, innocent as the day is long and pure as newly fallen snow. Andrea proves her wrong one hidden piercing and tattoo at a time.

At an event, Andrea finds two very bored 13 year olds in Miranda's upstairs suite, used to change clothes so her dress won't wrinkle in the car. Making a rash decision, she pulls them downstairs and tells the DJ, who has been playing flavorful music for the event, to play something a little different… and takes the twins onto the dance floor to have some fun. Mirandy wip, no Paris.

We don't like the way the movie ended, do we? No. Never. I've done a few stories to fix this in my head—and here's another. Also-Peetsden got to look over most of this for me but not all - so just deal with my mistakes as best you can.

This is just a serious piece of inconsequential fluff. I partly blame TheLadyHoll for giving me prompts I begged her for! The prompt's at the end of the story. I suppose that's what happens when I'm at work and it's one in the morning…and there's been too much coffee. Christmas in July, maybe? Oh, well. This story also serves as a gift to heeledmira.

This is a response to a prompt by heartsassassin for the Poke the Dragon Comment Ficathon. Her prompt was 'wind chimes and candles'. And I'll go ahead and say it again – this prompt stuff scares the crap out of me so I'm really not sure why I'm torturing myself.

When Miranda's ever faithful assistant is suddenly no longer at her side - for reasons which become clear - the editor deals with it in typical Miranda fashion, by simply demanding her return. Two parter. Pre-Mirandy.

This has been written as a response to theladyholl's prompt for the 4TH ANNUAL POKE THE DRAGON, WAKE THE MUSE COMMENT FIC-A-THON: Grumpy Miranda because the baby only calms down/stops kicking when Andy's hands are on her & Andy has been on assignment for the last week. Could be a standalone piece but goes better with my fic Memories in March. Can be read as an interlude.

"Fascinating," Maura whispered, taking a step closer, staring at Jane's hands. Jane took a step back. "Not exactly the words I would use." Jane and Maura meet late at night at the precinct, shortly after Jane's attack. Maura offers to help Jane with her bandaged hands. First Meet Rizzles. Takes place before the pilot.

Andy is an up-and-coming reporter for the Mirror when she takes on an assignment that could be just the break she's looking for. The only problem is that the subject, one Miranda Priestly, has become somewhat of a recluse since leaving her post as Editor in Chief of Runway.

The answer was simple: I need not dive for her love; I only need to decide if her love is worth more than what is important to me or what I thought was. That's when I truly understand; you only need the light when it's burning low. You only miss the sun when it starts to snow, you only know you love her when you let her go and I let her go…

I looked at her. I remember being hurt; looking at her hurt. With every step she made graciously, with every move she taunted her viewers with, the dagger in my heart twisted a little too far and reality finally hit me hard; Andrea Sachs, the love of my life, was a stripper in Manhattan, as stripper who dances naked for a perverted crowd and strips for these perverted minds.

She wasn't always alone. Her heart wasn't ice, it was kept warm against the frost of hatred by a few burning embers of friendship and loyalty. Her heart was weak, but willing to love. My first fic, AU FTL and OUAT. Eventual SWANQUEEN.

As Jane went to respond her attention was snapped away from Maura to a little voice at the bottom of the stairs, "Mommy?"
