I believe that with being a writer we naturally do certain things: We heal hearts, we stir emotions, we give thrills and chills, and we teach. As writers we are the voice of the human spirit. We are gifted with a unique power of combining words and emotions in order to captivate, thrill, scare and motivate our audience. That, I believe, is something no one else can do in any other profession. As writers, I believe that we should share our gift with others and the whole world. We should share this gift because we have the power to change something in this world, to create new worlds, and to impart powerful stories and memories. And that those stories and memories have the potential to become larger-than-life and even become our generation of classics.
I first got hooked on writing when I was in the 4th grade. We had to write a story in our journal everyday, and with every entry I wrote, I fell in love with writing. I realized that I loved using words to captivate, amaze, and teach whoever was listening. Four years later in the 8th grade, I still am amazed by the power of a paper and some words.
As you read this profile, dear writer or whoever you are, I want you to be inspired. Inspired simply by what is in this profile, my stories, whatever. I want you to be motivated. Motivated by what I do and what I try to bring to the table (or at least to this website, tee-hee!). If you are feeling discouraged, you can talk to me. I may be able to help you.
