My sister introduced me to this site and so i am using this site to hopefully spark my creativity. I am a man of words, and writing has always been my gift. However, i find myself too formal at times and i believe that, although i can write an excellent essay, writing a creative piece such as a novel or short story is an area in which i am unsure of myself. So i give my talents (or lack thereof) to you, the readers, the authors, and the critics, in hopes that you will share with me, and I with you, a journey unlike any other.

My favorite authors are Ernest Hemingway, Steven King, Micheal Criton, Dan Brown and my favorite books are Republic (Plato), Catch 22 (Joseph Heller), The Sun Also Rises (Hemingway), and Catcher in the Rye ( J.D. Salinger)

Invictus

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
