A will-o'-the-wisp or ignis fatuus (Latin, from ignis, "fire" + fatuus, "foolish") — also called will-o'-wisp, corpse candle, jack-o'-lantern, friar's lantern, gunderslislik, and wisp — is the folklore term for a ghostly light sometimes seen at night or twilight over bogs, swamps, and marshes. It resembles a flickering lamp and is sometimes said to recede if approached. Much traditional, non-scientific belief surrounds the phenomenon.

I won't ever give my name to the interwebs, but if a name is needed, feel free to refer to me as Iggy or Ignis. I am a writer who stopped writing a long time ago, and thus my mad writing skills have deteriorated into dust. I've developed a massive inferiority complex too- but apparently I come up with some interesting ideas, so there's always that. But my characterization skills? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

I live in the United States. Lots of people do/did. English is my only language, with a failed attempt to learn Spanish, and for that...Well, now I have new found respect for bilinguals. I can only hope to learn Japanese someday- but you never know until you try.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica - What I'm most attached to (So far). Dammit, bittersweet ending isn't bittersweet, it's just a bitter pill to swallow when you realize all the fridge horror involved. Overall, I enjoy this series, if not for its nature, but for all the goodness its given me.

Favorite Character(s): Kyouko and Homura. Seriously, how old are these two? My god. I like Kyouko because of her heel face turn and the fact that she wasn't really all that bad a person, honest, and Homura because...well, she's Homura. The two are under the definition of badassery in my book.

Favorite Pairings: Kyouko/Sayaka. Kyouko's totally gay for Sayaka. Sayaka's holding out for Kyousuke. All Kyousuke needs to do is fall in love with Kyouko and WHAM! A completed love triangle. But in all seriousness, the two's opposing sides and influences...Gah. I live for pairings like these.

I pretty much like all pairings, actually... But one pairing I have to see that isn't written in crack is Mami/Kazuko. *Shot* Okay come on, she's the only other person not paired up with someone, and it could work!

Favorite Friendships: Madoka and Homura. Their relationship...feels sorta platonic. I think its just me, but looking back, it certainly looks like it could be either way.

MegaMan Legends First video game I've ever played. 'Nuff said.

Favorite Character: Teisel Bone. The guy's a riot- and by riot, I mean its like a crime to NOT love him.

Favorite Pairings: Mega Man/ anyone? Agh, not a whole lot of pairings here. Mega Man is simply too nice.

Favorite Friendships: Roll and Tron Bone. Fuck yeah. Okay, so their totally fighting over the same guy- but when they team up, they are a kickass combination.

Summary: The world hadn't ended when Sayaka died. Millions die everyday, after all. But as time passed, they all found out how much that single life really meant to them.

Notes: My attempt to be nice to Sayaka. What with lack of closure and all, I was really, really down and discussing with a friend. Even though its arguably Sayaka's best outcome as a magical girl - that is, dying for what she believed in- it felt so...It was a really bitter pill to swallow. I suppose this is my one of my ways of coping.

Count Kyouko: Ruler of the Night - Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Novel(ish) - Planning

Summary: AU. The world is just oozing with supernatural entities- though, having been a vampire for so long, Kyouko knows how to handle herself pretty damn well. After conquering the town over, the Count turns her sights toward Mitakihara Town, where the only people defending the city are: a headless horse(wo)man, a guardian angel, a rookie swordswoman, and a...baseball player. Easy as pie, right?

Notes: All Puella Magi wiki's fault. There's a theory where Kyouko has vampiric abilities where she sucks the magical energy from magical girls, and I just. Could not resist this idea. I mean, she already has supernatural abilities, but I digress. Won't really be Kyouko centic, as the POV will be passed along. Crackish idea, I know.

Out of the Loop - Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Novel - On Hold until I get a nice decent grip on one of the two projects above.

Summary: The first time, she was sure that it had to be a joke, what with the way things turned out. The second time, okay, she was convinced that something was wrong- not that it stopped her from taking advantage of it. The third time? Now someone's just screwing with her, for sure.

Notes: An idea I've been toying around with. Will probably turn out to be somewhat Higurashi style and have three question arcs and two answer arcs. Deals with the possibility of Kyouko remembering everything, starting with the first loop (=first arc). Will be a long one, oh boy. Also: Why do I keep thinking of Kyouko-related ideas efffff.
