I thought I should get around to updating my profile since I've been here for a while. So, here's the jist of it.

I'm a professional in her early 30s. I work for a library system, though I am not a librarian. I went to the University of Michigan where I majored in English and creative writing. (My minor in business is what has kept me employed since before graduation.) I do enjoy my career, though it can be tedious having to deal with ignorant people. I have little patience for people with no common sense.

I have been with my husband for almost 16 years. Yes, that means we started dating in high school. (High school sweethearts really can have a happy ending). We have two young children, a boy and girl. Which means that's enough and we will be having no more.

I "found" the Twilight series when a friend of mine sent me an article lamenting on how bad the story was and waxing philosophical on why females, beyond their teenage years, were falling head-over-heels for it. I was intrigued. So, I slid by Target on my way home and grabbed the paperback version. I devoured it in less than three days and inhaled the rest of the series in less than two weeks. And, I was hooked. Like so many others, I wanted more of these characters. I also wanted a different ending and more tantalizing, shall we say, private moments between the characters.

Now I've landed here. I've read and continue to read a lot of Twilight fan fic. I prefer the canon stories. They have more of an emotional draw. But, as you'll see by my favorites list, I'm open to other interpretations.
