I'm here for Harry Potter FF only to read.

I highly appreciate the following ships, and read them quite often:

Draco/Ginny

Draco/Harry

Draco/Blaise/Ginny

Remus/Sirius

I think minor ships in a main ship fic is quite sweet and complimentary:

Ron/Hermione

Harry/Ginny

Neville/Luna

Bill/Fleur

I also like it when my favourite ships are included

It makes me want to drop-kick babies when I come across the following ships:

Draco/Hermione

Harry/Hermione

I hate most in a fic that I'm reading where the follow takes place:

MPREG, without a warning from the author at the beginning

Characters COMPLETELY out of character, for example, Hermione joining the Death Eaters, etc

American spelling for ''Mum''/ mentioning candy, fall (being autumn), American holidays being practiced at Hogwarts, proms, dances, etc. HP is BRITISH, and it's extremely off-putting when American things are mentioned. As far as I'm concerned, reading fanfiction is supposed to be fairly close to what the author intended (AU is obviously okay), and to have someone rip it to pieces and turn it into another teen USA novel is incredibly annoying. It's unfair of me to zone in on the faults of American writers, but I rarely come across another nationality that does the same thing.

Song fics

Dudley is found to be magical, and integrated into Hogwarts

MARY-EFFING-SUES. I will immediately stop reading if a MS is a fairly prominent in the story. They're never written well, and usually based on the author. l-a-m-e.

OC who are prominent in the story. JKR gave us loads of characters, and all of them are far better than anything you will ever create for fanfiction.

Rape. I think it's really pointless.
