Caroline had always sort of assumed that if she were ever to run away from her own wedding, she would run straight to Klaus. In reality, she'll have to find him and help him defeat his enemies before they can have their happy ending. (This story takes a sharp turn away from canon partway through 8x15).

Caroline and Klaus were together when Klaus was human. Caroline is an original vampire only known to a few and she doesnt know it herself. To protect her Klaus had to go to drastic measures so that Mikael could never find her. Rubbish summary but the strory is better and goes into cross with TO towards end. AU post 1x15/5x15. It would suffice to say that being given a baby to take care of for an indefinite amount of time was not on Caroline Forbes' bucket list. However, with the Originals missing, a coven of witches after said baby, and literally no one else to take the job, everything was left up to her. In one moment, Caroline's life was forever changed, and for the better.

Complete. To get anywhere, you have to go somewhere. Caroline snuck out of Mystic Falls to take a leap of blind faith into the big, bad world—and she succeeded. Yet Klaus was never really far behind. Set after 4x23, Caroline deals with a young boy left in her care as Klaus fights his way back to them.

The girls come up with a plan to send Caroline back in time to kill Klaus before he ever arrives in Mystic Falls. But it turns out their plan won't be as simple as they thought. Especially when Caroline gets stuck in the past & only has Klaus to rely on.

Caroline left Mystic Falls six years earlier heartbroken over Klaus and is now a wedding planner making everyone elses dreams come true, except her own. Klaus is a frustrated business CEO not over his first love. When the two come together and secrets are revealed will they be able to get back to what they once had?

After their drunken tryst, Klaus and Caroline are forced to come to terms with each other. *Continuation of "Give Me Love"*

Post 3x15. The gang has failed to kill Klaus and Caroline decides she needs to get out of Mystic Falls. She hardly suspects him to go after her.

Trying to find out which Original the gangs bloodline leads to, Bonnie produces a spell that sends Caroline into the past; learning more about Klaus and uncovering secrets she never expected, Caroline begins to realize that nothing is merely coincidence.
