I like reading fanfiction more than I like writing it. I dabble in quite a few pairings and if it is really really really well-written, I can read nearly anything in the fandoms I like.

Fandoms: Naruto, Harry Potter, and a very minute bit of Twilight.

Notes to Writers:

1. If you're going to write about something, know as much about it as is humanly possible, because otherwise you will be regarded as a newbie.

2. Completely cliched plots are overdone--do something new. But don't do it in a cliched manner because then it just turns into cliche.

3. Get your fudgin' grammar right! Punctuation laws were created for a reason. There is a very big difference between 'there' and 'their' and 'they're'. Know the differences.

4. Please don't abandon stories--it is a sad sad thing when a reader gets all the way through a chapter, and realizes there aren't anymore, scrolling up to see that the absolutely amazing fic hasn't been updated in two years. ;_; This has happened once too many, people.

5. Don't be jerks to other writers--offer constructive criticism, not idiotic, glaring comments.

6. Every author loves reviews so review, review, review. Review until your hands bleed. It's a nice thing to do.

7. Stop using "said" for everything. Use it maybe 5 times a chapter at most, and branch out your vocabulary. Go to thesaurus.com if you must!

8. Have betas. Many of them.

9. Live long, be happy, and prosper. *intiates Vulcan salute*
