Author has written 4 stories for Twilight. Well hello and welcome to my profile. I am really not that interesting so I am sure most will pass me by but that's ok as long as you read and enjoy my stories I will be happy!! I am 30 (well I am 29 but I am trying to get used to saying 30) and in love with the Twilight series as are all of my friends!! Yep we are all searching for that special Edward some where in the universe! I am married and very much in love so it's easy to write about love when it's in you life daily!! I am totally in love with music, singing, arts, movies and most recently books!! I really was never that interested in books and reading until about 3 years ago. I made a new years resolution to my self to try and read more in 2006. For me reading was a chore, I hated it. I even hated it in high school. I loved English class I hated writing. Not to mention my grammar/spelling is atrocious. Thank god for spell check!! Now I always have a book on the go, or I am reading the Twilight series again. There was really something about this series of books that is so great. Some may question why a group of 30 year olds are reading "Tween Books" but it really doesn't matter because a good love story is truly universal. Even without all that hot steamy sex. A love story begins with emotion and commonalties that everyone can understand. I feel this story is truly the new Romeo and Juliet of this century! The story is timeless and can be written so many ways. So any way, this year I went to see the movie Twilight (3 times yes it's shameful) with a couple of girl friends. I had a vague understanding of the movie but had no expectations. When the 3 of us left we looked at each other and said we have to read these books!! We all received them for Christmas this year and I couldn't put them down. I read all 4 books in about a two-week period, which for me is crazy. When I finished the series I was heartbroken. Not for the way the story ended because it was so fulfilling. I was depressed it was over and I couldn't be in the Twilight world any longer. My housework was slacking, laundry was pilling and my husband thought I was just plain nuts, or twelve teen as he calls it. So here I was searching for more and then I was told about the fan fiction site. I was so excited I could get back in to this world again! I was searching for a story that someone may have written about the beginning of Edward and his journey to Bella. I haven't seen what I have been looking for so I though I would give it a try. So for all of you that may be interested, please be kind. I have no clue how to write, just what filters out of my brain. I would be so grateful for some constructive criticism and suggestions. This will help me as I start this journey to find an outlet for my self. So aside from the Twilight books, I really enjoyed the shopaholic series and all Sophie Kinsella books, as well as Jennifer Weiner, Emily Giffen, mostly Chick Lit stories. I love all sorts of music except country (excluding the Dixie chicks of course, Love Them!!). I can't stop listening to Paramore its practically on repeat right now, the Foo Fighters, U2, The Trews (awesome Canadian band) Finger 11 (another awesome Canadian band) The tragically hip, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Alexis on Fire, Kings Of Leon, The Cranberries and wow the list goes on. I also love 90 alternative, which is what I grew up with. Anyway enough rambling, it's like 01:15 AM and I need to sleep! Thanks for stopping by and by the way Canadian Chicks Rock. Sorry just had to say that!! Cheers!! If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you. - Winnie the Pooh - I am starting to compile my Twilight soundtrack, there are so many song that I feel are appropriate!! Stay tuned. |
