Returning names to Youkai is becoming a normal occurrence for Natsume, but is it more dangerous than he thinks?

Protecting everyone from the youkai is Natsume's top priority; protecting Him, who is blind to this malicious world. Maybe it's been the other way around recently, but without them, chaos is bound to happen. A dream lingers in the air, and youkai threaten to destroy close bonds.

In a world where Madara was never sealed, Natsume Takashi was spirited away as a small child and taken to be raised among spirits. For a long time, this suits all those involved, until the day an exorcist discovers Natsume's existence. For the first time, Natsume has a chance of being accepted by humans. Gen. (Warning: Spoilers for the Long Way Home arc, episode 51-53).

Nishimura wants to know what Natsume is hiding, but he knows the other boy too well to push. Then one day he spots Natsume surrounded by a group of strange men, and tries to step in to help...

One day, out of the blue, Natsume Takashi disappeared, leaving Madara with only questions of "Why?" and "How?" Those aren't the only questions, though, as Natsume, without his memories, comes to realize that he's not as human as he'd thought.

Natsume's still not very good at sharing burdens, but Tanuma and Taki are learning how to take some of the weight anyway.
