After the raid on the South Pole, Ozai took her in, changed her name, altered her eye color, lied about her origin, and called her something altogether different. They said the spirits were what blessed her with her mysterious powers, but Zuko knew the truth. She was Ozai's secret weapon, a bloodbender; the last waterbender from the South Pole, and her real name was Katara.

In the aftermath of war, Zuko is unable to celebrate the victory over the Phoenix King. Lying in a comatose state, Zuko is watched over by Katara, who cannot help but feel guilt, after he shielded her from Azula's fateful lightning strike. Recalling the event, she vows to bring Zuko back to health, no matter the cost. After all, he had been ready to die for her.

Rebuilding a legend can be as hard as creating one. But there will definitely be adventures along the way, and that's good enough for Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats. The ghost should help keep things interesting, too. Sequel to On the Misty Shore.
