![]() Author has written 5 stories for Bleach, and Harry Potter. Mmmm, yaoi. Yes, my head spends a scary amount of time in the gutter when it comes to males, but I have more fun when I just let it. Currently, I am trying to stick with one shots since my brain seems to break every time I try to write a multi-chapter fic. As much as I love the people writing them, it seems I am still best suited for reading them. Rare pairs make my heart sing. It seems that every fandom nominates a boy hoe who gets written into bed with everyone, and I just lose interest. I found fanfic appealing in the first place because there was room to play with all those really cool supporting characters that got my attention in the original, so that what I hope to read and prefer to write. Besides, supporting roles come with more gray area that leave a writer room to get playful because you can't say it's not cannon even when you can't say it is cannon. You are welcome to make requests, but I promise nothing. I think my muse is a stray cat that has figured out how to use doors for as often as it's missing. Sassy brat. I would rather it take forever to write something I feel I gave my best to than to force out what I know full well is trash, so if I accept one, you know I put my heart into it. Pet peeves include m-preg and fic written like a bodice ripper but labeled as yaoi. If I was in the mood for het, I could read het. I may not even read much het, but I know there's good stuff out there when the mood strikes. I also hate it when an author gives a ton of really rushed information just to justify a smex scene. If you feel the need for a plot, please, take the time to flesh it out with good descriptive writing. If the plot doesn't matter enough to do that, just write the PWP. I read those too if I like the pair. Lack of time is no excuse since you can email things to yourself to save online copies. Write it well before posting. I should know since that's where my last attempt at a multi-chapter WIP waits till I can find my plot. Oh, and I really hate 20 miles of copy/paste messages in a writer profile. If I'm on your profile, it's probably cause I want to see what you had to say, not the same lists copy and pasted on your fave writers profiles. If you can't take a minuet, it's ok to leave it blank till you can give it some meat. I'm an auntie with 2 beautiful little ones to watch over courtesy of my sister, and thank the stars she wanted to brave pregnancy because it really creeps me out. Stretch marks, weight gain, swollen chest you don't want to look at, let alone touch, stitches where there should never be punctures of any kind, balling for no reason, peeing every five minuets. Really? Who does that on purpose? Miracle of life is right, because it's a miracle women still thinks it's a good ideal to breed. Given my sis and her dad are both bi, my interest in the gay community also extends to having a clue how to handle it if/when one of her kids comes out of the closet. The sex talk is scary for all involved as is, and there are always questions. The more information we have from others experiences, the better we will be able to come together as a family to let the kid know that it's ok, and we will still threaten to skin dates alive. Nobody messes with one of ours. | |||||||
