I intend to write Phoenix Wright and for some of the other games I really like, but I may poke about in other forums to have a read there, too. On the subject of Phoenix Wright and Digimon and all the other little series I like...I do support a number of pairings, but some I just can't stand. If I don't like a particular pairing at all, that generally doesn't impact on how I view a piece of writing: I just might not empathise with the characters as much.

My Favourite Ace Attorney Pairings:

Edgeworth x Franziska (my PW OTP for a lot of reasons: they are just so darned cute together! Forget the sibling thing - they are not actually blood-related - and though I concede that Franzy says he was like a "little brother" to her, he never says anything of the sort when he talks about her. She is the daughter of his mentor, and never his sister. I've always thought that the "little brother" thing was a poor excuse from an embarrassed teenager. Plus he obviously relates to her, and she to him, on an emotional level far beyond that of any other characters in the game. That's just what I think, though. :D)

Yamato Ishida x Sora Takenouchi (my Digimon OTP, for so many reasons I can't name them all. I am proud to say that I liked this couple before I even knew it was canon. They are cute together - don't bother denying it! - and again, they relate to one another in a mature and emotional way. I like Tai, too, but he and Sora are more like really good pals than boyfriend-girlfriend material. True, Matt and Sora don't actually get many romantic lines within the series, but there are hints that Matt might have the beginnings of romantic feelings for Sora as early as the first season. And by Digimon 02 Sora certainly likes him a lot, and vice versa. Ahhh...a couple I don't have to bother fighting about. It's just so obvious!)

James x Jessie (my Pokemon OTP; great merciful heavens, you're probably thinking, she's a Rocketshipper! Yup, I support these guys as a pairing. Why? Well, duh - they're both utterly fantastic together, for a start. Plus there's actually a number of interactions between good old J&J that we never see between any other characters. Okay, these have been thin on the ground lately - to which I say: c'mon, writers! We want Rocketshippy goodness! - and I concede that fear-hugs aren't exactly a basis for love. Even if the said hugs are actually more like fear-gropes. But their affection is at least at the BFF stage, and I think James knows he likes Jessie a bit more than a friend. It's marriage he's afraid of - not Jessie herself. She just needs to ditch the arrogance and realise what's important.)

My Least Favourite Digimon Pairings:

Taichi Kamiya x Sora Takenouchi (agg, no! Friends only! Friends only! Okay, Tai obviously likes Sora and she may have liked him in the first series. But they do not end up together, and Sora obviously saves any further romantic feelings for Yamato. So no, thank you.)

Adrian x Franziska (no...just no... I can't stand this pairing, and the less I hear about it the better. At the most I can see them as friends...or possibly Adrian having a little crush on Franziska, but other than that I find reciprocation on Franzy's part very unlikely. Just my opinion.)
