IN ADDITION TO MY OWN STORIES, I HAVE OBLIGATIONS TO OTHERS AS WELL. Howdy there, partners! iheartgod175's the handle (one of these days, I'm gonna change it to iheartgod365...), and welcome to my humble home page! I'm a university student aiming for a Bachelor's in Business Administration, and an unrepentant nerd of old media, anime, and video games--but in general I'm a pretty nice person when you get to chat with me; just more on the quiet side than most. :) And if the name didn't already tip you off to it, I'm a Christian who does her best to show her love for God in everything she does, including her writing. I'm not like most Christians who aggressively forces my faith down their throat (heads up: Super Readers' Biggest Adventure and my Veggie Tales fics, my first forays into fanfiction, are not subtle about said Christian themes. You have been warned.) or judges people, but I do things like thanking God for the story itself in the author's notes out of gratitude to Him for giving me this talent. I'm not going to back down from doing it either, even if I lose followers or get anonymous hate. A year ago I stopped doing it for a while for that reason, but then I remembered that I'm not supposed to be like everyone else. And I've been doing things my way for six years, so I don't see myself changing this pattern any time soon. :) ...Holy cow, have I really been on this site for seven years?! WOW. I've got far too many interests, but my current ones include the aforementioned old cartoons/movies/TV shows (namely from the '30's-'80s, with a few '90s mixed in), various video games & anime, photography, graphic design and really geeky stuff like old logos and all. On my blog, I was half-kidding when I said I was Hanna-Barbera trash; I've fallen hard into it since 2015 and it doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon. And I'm also currently stuck in idol purgatory; if I'm not reblogging about Hanna-Barbera, I'm reblogging stuff from Love Live! School Idol Project, its sister series Love Live! Sunshine!!, and its rival series THE IDOLM@STER (which I personally like better *runs*), BanG Dream! and others. As of August 6th, 2013, I'm going to be dedicating my fics to the memory of my grandmother. She was a vibrant figure in our family life, and I loved going over to see her. She had a never give up attitude and always told me stories, as well as encouraging me to write my own. She will be loved and missed. She's gone but not forgotten. The Writer's Prayer Father, thank You for giving me the inspiration, the creativity and the wisdom to create these stories. Without You, I would have given up on this site, just given up writing in general, or I would have used my writing talent for the wrong reasons. I take this time, Father, to praise You for everything that you have done for me the past three years on this site, and to thank You for giving me this talent that I will use for Your kingdom. I thank You as well for loving me just as I am, and for being patient with me, even when I go off and do things my own way. I give You the thanks for these things, in Jesus' name, Amen. If you are a fanfiction writer, believe in God, and know when to give credit where credit is due, copy and paste this in your profile! UPDATE: 7/30/19 No, I'm not dead. Well, if any of you have been on my Tumblr, you would have noticed ; Once again, I must apologize for my lack of activity on this site. Since last month, I've been working about 40-hour weeks, which means more money in pocket, but less time to do the stuff I want. At least I'm not in school this semester, haha. Speaking of school, I am going to enroll again come September, since not enrolling again would mean I'd lose my graduation fund (and the chance to continue with it). I'll try to stay up to date with things, but my schedule is pretty hectic this week; tomorrow, I'm going in from 5 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon, followed by 6-1:30 Thursday. Sooner or later, I'm going to take a vacation (ie. stay at home and chill), probably in August when things simmer down. My prayer life took a bit of a backseat in light of all that's been going on, but I will be getting back to praying and reading my Bible again, rather than quickly going through devotional plans like I've been doing. However, I haven't lost my love for Christ, nor have I stopped praying, in spite of the distractions and crazy stuff I have to deal with. Long story short, I'm still in the thick of things, but I'm not working myself to death, nor am I keeping everything bottled up. Though I haven't been on here in a while, I've more or less been on Tumblr, reblogging stuff from Love Live, Bandori, and iM@S. I also updated my theme for Love Live (because I fell in love with µ's again), and changed my profile because Symphogear XV. If you haven't already, GO WATCH SYMPHOGEAR. I've been following it closely since it came out and it's been a rollercoaster ride so far. I do have plans to update my dA page (since I recently had to change my account info), but as for new art...yeah, you're gonna have to wait on that ; Currently, Bandori and Revue Starlight (or Starira) have been eating up my time, though I do plan on cutting back a little bit to spend time doing other things, like writing. I originally had all three games on my phone, but I had to sacrifice some apps to keep it running smoothly, and unfortunately, Love Live had to go. Currently at rank 56 on Bandori an at rank 20 on Starira. "Blazin' Trails" is going to get a huge overhaul, though not in the way that The Heroes of Time or FH, BS are getting it. The series has grown so much that trying to arrange everything into a comprehensive story is a major headache. So, I have plans to break up the main story into "seasons", with a certain number of chapters (thinking about 32-40), and about 2-3 arcs per story. More details will be added on the wiki when I get a chance to clean up the series' main page, as well as some of the OCs. Since things got so crazy, I never did create the Melting Pot wiki, but fear not, I do that on my To-Do List. As I stated before, the OCs from Blazin' Trails will remain on the BT wiki, while everyone else will go to The Melting Pot. So if you begin to see character profiles gradually disappearing, that's why! I'm also going to head back to FictionPress in the near future and update it with some new stuff. Barring my last original work, "The Energists", I removed everything else that I wasn't working on, and am planning on starting fresh. Not sure what my first original story will be, but you'll probably hear about it soon on my blog! I haven't been quite as active in the Hanna-Barbera fandom as I used to be, but I'm returning back to it by way of watching old Boomerang stuff. I'm actually in the mood to work on some Hanna-Barbera fanfics again. And by Hanna-Barbera fics, I more or less mean "Blazin' Trails", but you get the point :). I recently counted my backlog and I discovered that I have 14 chapters in it, so...yeah, I need to get to work on those. My Punkin' Puss RP blog has NOT been shut down. I'm still planning on returning there (as well as the Hanna-Barbera RP I'm part of on Discord), but it took me a while to return to my regular Tumblr. Other than Blazin' Trails, I honestly don't know what story I'll be working on next, although I have been working on some of my Sheriff Callie stuff off and on. And I really, REALLY need to finish a few of my multi-shots. *cough* I'll Never Abandon You *cough* Just wanted to leave you guys with a little update to let you know that I'm alive! Mainly with trying to find my "breakout story", but also with finding my niche. So I asked my mom (who I read a lot of my stories to) what it was, and she said that it was action-packed stories. After going through my list of stories, I agreed with her, and from then on that was my mainstay, although it's changed over the years. In said action-packed stories, there is violence, drama, trauma, suspense, some psychological damage, tragedy, romance and (if I'm feeling in the mood to really spice things up), character death. For some reason, I can also write angst and hurt/comfort really well, too, and I'm getting better at writing romance stories, but I've been flexing my muscles in other things, such as humor, parody and such. I also have the habit of blending fantasy with realism. Just read Whispers in the Wind and you'll see what I'm talking about. That said, my stories do tend to be pretty dark. My first fic, Super Readers' Biggest Adventure , is obviously much more action packed and darker than its source material; all religion aside, it also has a lot of mythological and fantasy elements too, and the Super Readers get put through a lot of stuff. My first full-length Veggie Tales story, Hugs and Kisses, started out as a cute, fluffy Bob/Madame Blue fic, right up until I started watching soaps--that lead to Eddie Russell and his psycho boss Julian Maverick showing up at Big Idea for five chapters. Future of Wuzzleburg, which was originally going to be posted instead of SRBA, can kinda be described as Wubbzy meets Terminator, as there's a time traveler coming to Wuzzleburg in order to kill the tyrannical ruler of the world in his time. And that's not even getting into stories like The Zula Patrol: Dreamscape Crusade (which is basically alternate reality meets Nightmare Fuel), The Heroes of Time (which has the H-B worlds being overrun by the Heartless), and Fiery Heart, Broken Soul, which is not only the first collaboration I've done on this site, but also my first mature fic--it's the longest and darkest out of the fics I've written thus far due to many reasons. And if the "Protector" arc of Blazin' Trails is of any indication, even some of my lighter stories aren't safe from the occasional dark twist. Most of my fanfics are for media with slice-of-life/kids' shows that I watch, with a good majority of them being guilty pleasures of mine. Although there are adults who usually do this sort of thing anyway, I think I differ from those people for several reasons: 1. they don't have stupidity tacked in; 2. I actually try to explore the universe farther than what the show explains; and 3. there's no adult content; maybe a few innuendos here and there, but usually between the older characters, and nothing explicit, mind you. These are kids shows we're talking about here. Now, before you try to check me into the nearest asylum, let me reassure you that I'm not a sadist who likes to torture my favorite characters; I believe a lot of us authors do that, anyway. I just have a very vivid (and might I say, sometimes scary) imagination. Often all it takes is a question and a fic starts from there. And while I like writing long, dark epics, I'm not limited to just those; I also write short stories that run on The Power of Fluff (no, it's not a real term, but who cares XD) to bring some diversity to my list, so I'm not a complete sadist XD. I try to lighten things up in my serious ones by adding comedy, friendship fluff and romantic fluff to the stories; the former's something that I'm getting better at, as I've learned to loosen up and just be random at times. I'm also trying my hand at writing good romance stories, since romance is my guilty pleasure but I find such stories somewhat challenging to write, as well as genres that I've always liked/been partial to but never write, such as westerns, sci-fi, horror and crack fics; I'd really, really have to be random to write something like that.Since I've been obsessed with Westerns for the last year, I've been trying my hand at writing Western adventures. I'm quite proud of my first Western story, The Ghost of Huckleberry Hound, and I highly recommend you read Blazin' Trails as well if you like my Western stories. I hope my next few stories will live up to the genre. For sci-fi, there's The Return of the Phantom Empire (which gets a lot of inspiration from Star Wars). And for fantasy with a bit of horror, there's The Heroes of Time. For more proof that I'm not a complete fiend, there are happy endings in my stories, or at least ones that have to be worked for. The best endings that I've written, in my opinion, are for Acceptance, Hugs and Kisses, Best Friends Forever-Redone, The Ghost of Huckleberry Hound , Tea for Two and Whispers in the Wind, although for the latter three, those endings are more bittersweet due to factors in the stories themselves. Although I follow canon like most fans (for the most part), when it comes to my fics I usually choose a canon timeline and then throw in my own twist. I like to mix it up and throw together certain canons, or write a story that has nothing to do with canon at all. Most of my stories dabble in alternate universes that I created, and said universes tend to be pretty big. If the show in question doesn't have an established timeline, then I make one up and add to it with my own story, all the while referencing those episodes. Then there are the stories that are AUs to an AU that I made. Yeah, it's kind of weird. Oh, and on the topic of canon, I should also bring up character development. That's also a big one. The point of fanfiction is to take the characters/world beyond the boundaries of the TV/movie/games and show different sides of them that the shows don't explore. Even when the characters go through crap or are faced with crazy situations, I do my best to keep them true to their core, though like every writer, I have certain headcanons concerning them. Sometimes, I even expand on their personality traits to make them more relatable to the readers, especially if they had little personality to go off of (ie. how I portray Ricochet Rabbit in Blazin' Trails). I rarely go the OOC route unless I really want to (as seen by Whispers in the Wind), and normally there has to be a very good reason as to why they would go off the rails. A lot of people love to praise me for my writing, especially when it comes to descriptions, grammar and word choice. I'm very flattered, but let me be humble here: I'm pretty much an amateur compared to other writers on this site, especially FlutterChaos, BHS and PurpleProse-SB, authors of three of my favorite stories: Magical Pony Lyrical Twilight A's , Shattered Skies and Lyrical Nanoha: Time Destruction, which have awesome twists, fight scenes and descriptions that inspired some of my stories, like The Zula Patrol: Dreamscape Crusade, The Heroes of Time and Sodor Magic Crusaders. I'm humbled and touched that many people say my writing keeps them glued to the screen, and I have to agree, but every writer's open to improvement. Of course, I'm still learning about the writing process, but I'm happy to say that I'm open to critique and willing to fix my mistakes. Even so, for those of you who love my writing style, thanks! It really means a lot :) As for chapter uploads, it follows a pattern: when I first start the story, I'm really motivated and I start writing a whole bunch of chapters, snippets for later parts of the story and what not. Then somewhere along the line, writer's block, other interests and real life come in demanding my time, forcing me to put stories on hiatus. And since I'm in school, I can't work on my stories as often as I used to before. I also have a bad habit of starting new stories whenever I'm inspired and then abandoning old ones/putting them on hiatus. I only now realized recently that for all my talk of being patient, I'm actually an impatient person when it comes to a lot of things ; But I'm doing better to get back to my old ones and work on them when I have time; this way, no story goes unfinished. However, please don't rush me or badger me about working on stories I haven't worked on in a long time. This isn't directed towards specific people or anything; I prefer to work on stories (or rather, anything really) at my own pace, and I value quality over quantity. I'd rather have readers get good chapters that I took my time on rather than bad chapters that were rushed because of the whole "can't keep my public waiting" thing--something that I have done in the past, which I'm not proud of. I also care about my readers, making sure to reply to any reviews I receive. Review counts are great, but the reviews themselves are what I care about, because I want to talk to the people about my story. So if you review my work, I can guarantee that you'll get a PM from me. That's the reason why guest reviews annoy me sometimes, because then I can't respond to them. And speaking of reviews, I'd like to talk about the "awesome write more!" or such. I'm the kind of person who wants feedback on points of the story, and often I try to leave detailed feedback on other writers' works. For me, seeing reviews like that, while it's a good thing that someone actually reviewed at all, is a little disheartening. That's why I've put "Constructive criticism is welcome" on all my stories, because I want people to leave feedback so I can grow as a writer. And if you ever leave a page-long breakdown of it, I would eat it up like I do with dark chocolate :D I also love to read other authors' stories and review, and I admit, I get inspired by a lot of authors on here. If I read a story of yours and I love it, chances are I'll give you a shout-out in my fic just to gush about how awesome you are. I just make sure I credit the person who inspired me, and then make it different from theirs so that I'm not stealing anything. Oh, and if you ever drew fanart of my original characters or my stories, you'd automatically be my friend. Just sayin'. XD iheartgod175's (ridiculously extremely long) Profile Gender: Female Age: If you must know, I'm 22 Sexuality: Straight Location: North Carolina (and that's all you're getting) Occupation: University student (currently has a Web and Graphic Design Certificate from Wake Tech Community College), aspiring authoress and artist Personality: I'm pretty quiet around people in general, though nowadays I'm more inclined to start up a conversation than before; actually, it used to be the other way around. I'm somewhat introverted, and I do have a bad habit of not talking to my friends for a while because either I'm busy or I forget...which leads me to try to avoid people. I've made some friends worry because of this ; I can be irritable sometimes (especially with my younger siblings), and I'm not the biggest people person, but I can't STAND being alone. I'm also impatient to an absurd degree; not a very good thing for an artist and writer, honestly It takes a very long time for me to get mad, but if you really decide to make me angry I'll have some choice words for you (no swearing, but a putdown). I also joke around a bit, and I have a dry sense of humor. I'll talk up a storm about things I like--as well as rant about things I hate. For the most part, I'm amiable and ready to help out if needed, and I'll make sure I get the job done right, no matter how long it takes. Since I'm not a huge people person, I treasure the friends I have and would drop kick the world for them (if they needed it, mind you). Religion: Judeo-Christian (Workhorsecommentator thought I was Catholic, so I figured I'd clear that up.). It's the reason my pen name is iheartgod. That means you can expect no swearing or explicit sexual material in my stories. Dark stuff, of course, but no swearing (except for the occasional "what the heck?", "Crap!" and Curses Cut Short/characters getting called out on attempting to swear), sex or characters doing drugs/alcohol; I do make exceptions when it's part of the story, and even then I don't go into loads of detail. I also tread very carefully when it comes to magic and demonic entities, such as in Mirror, Mirror and Sodor Magic Crusaders; as much as I love fantasy and how magic works in the Nanoha universe , I'm not to studying magic to the point where people think I'm studying witchcraft. Also, expect prayers at the beginning of the stories that I write sometimes, and references to my faith. In addition, I am a huge supporter of Israel and the Jewish people, and I celebrate the Jewish holidays. Username Origin: I'd always been lurking around Fanfiction before I got an account, and I was always trying to come up with a username. At first I would've used a Japanese name, but since I got saved around 2010-2011, I figured my name would have something to do with God. I came up with the "iheartgod" part, thinking that it sounded kind of cute. The numbers I originally chose were 365, actually, but then I changed it to 17, and then 175. Don't ask where that number came from, but it stuck. From then on, that's been my username; my joke with it is that I only love God 175 days out of the year =P Major Inspirations: Hanna-Barbera, Pixar Animation, Naoko Takeuchi, Kagami Yoshimizu (creator of Lucky Star), Toei Animation, Satoru Iwata, Shigeru Miyamoto, BHS (check out his work, it's awesome!), Vulaan Kulaas (had to give a little shout out to my friends :D), BHS (writes some darn good crossovers) Favorite Anime (bold means major): Sailor Moon, Ojamajo Doremi, Pretty Cure series (the original, Max Heart, Splash Star, Heartcatch and Smile!), Pokemon, Guyver (2005 series), Record of Lodoss War (original OVA), Dragon Ball Z, Cardcaptor Sakura, Princess Comet, Fushigi-boshi no Futago-hime, Lucky Star, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (A's, A's Portable, StrikerS and ViVid in particular), Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream, Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live, Aikatsu! From Lucky Star: Konata, Kagami, Yutaka, Minami, Nanako Kuroi, Hikaru Sakuraba, Fuyuki Amahara (this is a great example of how I like underdogs/seldom-appearing characters) From Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (from most to least): Fate, Yuuno, Einhart, Chrono, Reinforce Eins (my precious), Miura (cinnamon roll), Fuka Reventon, Corona (another precious of mine), Subaru, Hayate, Caro, Nanoha, Agito, Material-S, Nove, Vita, Signum, Zafira, Arf, Material-D, Tre, Vivio (cute as a main character--but I love Einhart :D), Reinforce Zwei, Shamal, Rio, Rinne From Star Wars (most to least favorite) : C-3P0 (he's always won me over more than R2), Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, General Grievous, Padme Amidala, Qui-Gon Jinn, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Darth Sidious (I base most of my villains off of this guy, after all) From Transformers: Favorite Decepticons: Starscream (pretty much my favorite in every generation, but G1 and Armada are my favorites), Soundwave (G1), Shockwave (G1, Prime), Optimus Prime (G1 and Prime), Megatron (G1, Armada, Animated and Prime), Rumble (G1), Astrotrain (G1), Swindle (G1), Onslaught (G1) Favorite Decepticon Combiners (from top to least favorite): Predaking (G1), Piranacon (G1), Devastator (G1), Bruticus (G1, but the WFC one is pretty cool, too), Menasor (G1), Abominus (G1) Favorite Autobots: Springer, Ultra Magnus (G1), Perceptor (G1), Omega Supreme, Jazz (G1), Prowl (G1), Bumblebee (G1, Prime/War For Cybertron/Robots in Disguise), Mirage (G1), Grimlock (G1, Fall of Cybertron), Arcee (Prime; I never really cared for G1 Arcee), Blurr (G1), Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime (G1; yeah, I liked Rodimus Prime), Crosshairs (Movieverse), Drift (Movieverse and Robots in Disguise), Sideswipe (G1 and Robots in Disguise), Tracks (G1), Blaster (G1), Hound (G1), Kup (G1), Strongarm (Robots in Disguise) Favorite Autobot Combiners: Computron (G1), Defensor (G1), Superion (G1) From ThunderCats: Snarf, Cheetara, Lion-O, Panthero, Lynx-O, Pumyra, Snarfer From WALL-E: WALL-E (he's so ADORABLE!), EVE, M-O From VeggieTales: Bob, Larry, Archibald, Mr. Lunt, Jimmy, Petunia, Pa Grape, Madame Blueberry From Earthbound/SSB: Ness (he's the character I almost always play as on that game), Lucas (my second choice), Kirby, Fox, Peach, Zelda, Duck Hunt (the dog is so adorable) From Count Duckula: Duckula, Igor, Dr. Von Goosewing From My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (from most to least favorite): Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, Cadence, Celestia, Luna From Jem: Jerrica/Jem, Stormer (she reminds me of myself a lot), Raya, Pizzazz From He-Man: Adam/He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms, Sy-Klone, Roboto, Orko (he's just too adorable), Skeletor, Evil-Lyn From Scooby-Doo (in order from most to least favorite): Shaggy, Velma, Fred, Scooby and Daphne From The Powerpuff Girls: Blossom, Buttercup, Bubbles, Mojo Jojo, the Mayor, Miss Bellum, the Gang Green Gang From Top Cat: Top Cat (he's the most tip-top after all), Officer Dibble (his interactions with Top Cat are hilarious to watch, and I love their love-hate friendship), Fancy-Fancy, Benny From Galaxy Goof-Ups: Captain Snerdly, Quack-Up (Yeah, I liked Quack-Up. So what?) From Hanna-Barbera (in order from most to least favorite): Huckleberry Hound (I love his North Carolina accent!), Top Cat, Quick Draw McGraw, Baba Looey, Snagglepuss, Yogi Bear, Peter Potamus, Ricochet Rabbit, Droop-a-Long, Hardy Har har, Snooper, Boo-Boo, Punkin' Puss, Mushmouse, Magilla Gorilla From Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Tieria Erde (he stood out to me mostly because when I saw the first episode, I thought he was a girl), Allelujah Haptism, Setsuna F. Seiei, Saji Crossroad From Odin Sphere (in order from most to least): Gwendolyn, Mercedes, Oswald, Velvet, Cornelius, Odin, Ingway, Edmund, Odette Favorite Disney Princesses: Jasmine, Ariel, Mulan, Belle From Senki Zesshou Symphogear (from most to least): Hibiki, Shirabe, Tsubasa, Chris, Genjuuro, Kirika, Miku, Maria, Ogawa From Sheriff Callie's Wild West: Peck, Toby, Callie, Uncle Bun From Your Lie in April: Kousei, Tsubaki, Takeshi From Puella Magi Madoka Magica (in order from most to least): Kyoko, Sayaka, Homura, Mami, Madoka From Flip Flappers: Papika, Yayaka, Dr. Salt From Kokoro Library: Aruto From Love Live! School Idol Project (from most to least): Honoka (Best Girl), Nozomi, Nico (How ironic...the character I hated the most ends up jumping to third place), Umi, Maki, Hanayo, Eli, Rin, Kotori (I do not hate her, but she just doesn't interest me as a character) From Love Live! Sunshine!! (from most to least): Chika (Best Love Live Girl and Best Leader), Dia, Mari (OK, so I kinda sorta lied about not liking Mari. I always liked her, but I had other favorites at the time), Ruby, Kanan, You, Hanamaru, Yoshiko (they did her DIRTY in S2), Riko (same reason as Kotori; I like her, but I like everyone else over her) From BanG Dream! (listing every band member from most to least): Arisa (The BEST version of a tsundere character, aside from Kagami Hiiragi, of course), Kasumi, Chisato, Aya, Maya, Moca, Hina, Ran, Saaya, Misaki, Yukina, Kokoro, Himari, Sayo, Kaoru, Rimi, Eve, Tsugumi, Tomoe, Lisa, Tae, Hagumi, Kanon, Rinko, Ako From THE IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls (346Pro) (the first Im@s I watched, so I'm putting it first; from most to least): TakeuchiP, Uzuki, Mika, Ranko, Mio, Anzu, Miria, Nana, Miku, Natsuki, Anastasia, Kaede, Shiki, Karen, Riina, Rin, Kirari, Rika, Kanako From THE IDOLM@STER (765Pro) (I love them all, but for now the top ones): AkabaneP (Now I see why he's named Broducer by the fans), Iori, Takane, Makoto, Ritsuko, Hibiki, Miki, Mami, Chihaya, Haruka, Ami, Yayoi, Yukiho, Azusa From The IDOLM@STER SideM (315Pro): Teru, Touma, Shiki, Tsubasa, Jirou, Minori, Pierre, Kaoru From Lupin III (from most to least): Jigen (my dude), Goemon (my crush!), Lupin, Fujiko, Zenigata (I love him, but I love the Lupin gang too much) Strongest Subjects: History, Science, English, Art (I'm working towards becoming an anime artist) Weakest Subjects: Math (I'm definitely improving on it, though...) Strong Writing Points: Description of action scenes, scenes, and narrative in general (I'm working on how to describe background without sounding repetitive) Weak Writing Points: Describing clothing (I really have to get into different types of clothing so I can overcome this one), romantic scenes (since I'm don't have a boyfriend yet) Likes to Read/Write: Just about everything, but in order: Crossover, Adventure, Fantasy, Angst, Friendship, Hurt/Comfort, Romance (Occasionally yaoi/yuri, but not outright smut. I like a little steam in my romances, but I draw the line at very steamy romance, if you catch my drift.) Hates to Read: Character/pairing bashing fics, troll fics, stories with bad grammar, stories lumped into one paragraph. Note that I will never, EVER write things like this, whether to troll (which I hate) or to mess with someone. Doesn't Mind, but Doesn't Write: Yaoi/yuri fics (You'll notice that I have a few fics under my favorites list that do have yaoi or yuri in it. Though I have my own personal ships, I don't feel comfortable writing it, so you won't see me writing any fics of that nature.), crack fics (sometimes I read them for the laughs, but I can't really bring myself to write them.) Best at Writing: Angst, Adventure, Fantasy, Hurt/Comfort, Tragedy, Romance (most of the time; I try not to rush the romance and let it develop on its own.), Friendship and Parody Needs to Work on Writing: Humor, Sci-Fi, Horror, Supernatural, Crossover and Western, as well as gory scenes (I guess I'm not cut out to write them much...) Personal Favorite Stories: Hugs and Kisses, Fiery Heart, Broken Soul, The Ghost of Huckleberry Hound, Have Guitar, Will Travel, Acceptance: The Story of the Duck Hunt Duo, Redemption: The Story of the Last R.O.B., The Return of the Phantom Empire, Impromptu Date, No Pet Policy, Blazin' Trails OTPs: Yes, I am a shipper at heart. I've actually been shipping before I knew what "shipping" meant. There might be a few that I made up, while others are mostly hinted in canon. Multo/Zeeter- From The Zula Patrol. The first couple I shipped before I knew what "shipping" meant. I came up with the idea after deciding that Bula would go well with my OC, Bonnie. I didn't see it much at first, but after watching the show, I came up with a few theories with how Multo and Zeeter would get together. In the first few stories I started writing, it was Zeeter who had the crush on Multo and he was oblivious/annoyed/slightly interested. Nowadays, it's Multo who's in love with her, but she's oblivious/annoyed/shocked at this. In my older and newer stories, the two of them got married and had a daughter together. Bula/Zeeter is also a fine ship, and as of late I've been doing that couple as well...but Multo/Zeeter will always be my favorite. :) Manny/Kelly-From Handy Manny. If the entire fanbase, including the freakin' target audience, can see that you like each other and you can't, that's a problem. Luigi/Daisy, Mario/Peach- Of course from the Mario series! Luigi and Daisy are so cute together! Mario/Peach is so obvious that it's a wonder Nintendo didn't have them get married yet. Buzz/Jessie, Woody/Bo- From Toy Story. I really, really like Buzz/Jessie more than Woody/Bo, but it made me a little sad when Bo Peep didn't show up in Toy Story 3. Schmendrick/Molly- From The Last Unicorn. Even if you weren't a shipper, there are several teasing moments in the movie that shows that Molly (possibly) likes Schmendrick. Coraline/Wybie- From Coraline. This one could be possible. Ben/Abigail- From National Treasure. They are cute together, but sometimes Abigail gets on my nerves. Arthur/Francine, Jenna/George- From the television show Arthur. A/F gets teased so much, it's even hinted that they'll get married in the future. I really think Jenna/George would be cute. Becky/Tobey- From WordGirl. I support Becky/Tobey way more than Becky/Scoops, but if I wrote a story with both couples, I might do a love triangle. In which Becky/Tobey would be the outcome :D Bernard/Bianca- From The Rescuers. The second cutest couple ever, and always manages to set me off on a big ball of squee! Van/Hitomi-From The Vision of Escaflowne. I've always liked them more than Allen/Hitomi. Ash/Misty, Ash/May, May/Drew, Jessie/James-From Pokémon. I've always thought Ash/Misty was cute, and I've got a little soft spot for Ash/May as well, but I also really like May/Drew. Oh, and I'm an unabashed Rocketshipper. Naoto/Ichigo,Johnny Bepp/Orihime-From Aikatsu! The latter is one I ship a bit more than the former, but I find Naoto/Ichigo just as cute. Thomas/Emily, Gordon/Molly, James/Molly- From Thomas the Tank Engine. I can kind of see Thomas/Emily happening since there are a few hints in canon. James/Molly is possible, even though they don't really interact in the show. Gordon/Molly came about when I was playing Thomas with my brothers, and my brother had Gordon have a crush on Molly. Bob/Madame Blueberry, Larry/Petunia, Archie/Lovey- From VeggieTales. I became a Bob/Madame Blue shipper after reading Comment person's 'Timely Love Stories', which has hints of that pairing in it. Larry/Petunia is pretty obvious, and I love Archie, so him and Lovey being paired up was no question. The only that I do when I write Archie/Lovey (or "Archilove") is portray them as old friends who become romantically involved, rather than husband and wife off the bat. That's just my opinion. At the moment, though, Bob/Madame Blue (or as I like to call them, "BoBerry") is my current OTP for the show, if Hugs and Kisses is any indication of that. Yuuno/Material-S, Chrono/Amy, Erio/Caro- From Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. My original pair was Yuunoha, but I think Material-S would be a good match for Yuuno-kun; the second handheld game plays up this by having her call him "Master" and stuff. It'd be cool to see if the new INNOCENT manga explores this possibility; I would definitely read the manga after that. Chrono/Amy has been an OTP of mine since the first two seasons; I did ship a little bit of Chrono/Fate until the end of A's. And Erio and Caro are too adorable for words :D Whyatt/Red- From Super Why. My original pairing for this show was Whyatt/Princess Pea, but after really sitting down and thinking about it, I realized that Whyatt and Red are more compatible. Subtle hints of the ship are seen in my fanfic Super Readers' Biggest Adventure. Robin/Starfire, Beast Boy/Raven-From the original Teen Titans. I mostly like Go!, but what I don't like is how they treat the Robin/Starfire relationship in that one. Walden/Widget, Wubbzy/Daizy, Chef Fritz/Madame Zabinga, Huggy/Buggy- All of these pairings are from Wubbzy. Walden/Widget to me would be more one-sided, while I can definitely see Wubbzy/Daizy happening. Madame Zabinga/Chef Fritz would be possible only if the two have one of those "slap-slap-kiss" relationships, and Huggy/Buggy would work if they were older. Aira/Shou, Hibiki/Rizumu, Mion/Wataru- From Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream. Aira/Shou is pretty obvious, but Rizumu/Hibiki is probably my favorite couple from the show. It's so funny for the normally energetic Rizumu to get all shy around Hibiki. The main reason I support Mion/Wataru is because I feel so bad for Wataru. Igor/Nanny- From Count Duckula. Although it seems a little far-fetched, I have to blame Steffie1 for this one. Igor always calls Nanny stupid and can't stand her most of the time, but I think that he *somewhat* cares for her, even if he won't show it. Steffie1's fic Potion Commotion pretty much got me into the idea... Cheese Sandwich/Pinkie Pie (CheesePie), Shining Armor/Cadance- From My Little Pony: FiM. I decided to see if anybody started shipping Cheese and Pinkie, and sure enough, I found a whole bunch of adorable, heartbreaking stories. I hope to put up a story about them on FimFiction soon... Huck/Desert Flower-From Hanna-Barbera's "The Good, the Bad and Huckleberry Hound". I've only heard of Desert Flower once, due to SuperAlex64's stories, and I thought they were cute, even though I've never heard of her before. Then I saw the movie itself, and they immediately became my new ship. These two just mesh together perfectly :D Most of my fics that focus on these two have taken place in the movie universe, but I have some AU ideas in mind. Top Cat/Trixie-From Top Cat: The Movie. I did think they were kind of cute before, but never really paid much attention to them after that. Ever since I went on tumblr searching for some prompts I could use for BoBerry, I fell back in love with these two. In my stories, the two banter at first, but you can't deny the chemistry between them; normally, it's Trixie who likes T.C. first, but she thinks that nobody would like her, only for T.C. to prove her wrong. Other times, both of them like each other, but they're caught up in their banter to realize that. Stories focusing on them will mostly be alternate universe. Gwendolyn/Oswald, Ingway/Mercedes, Cornelius/Velvet-From Odin Sphere. This is probably one of the few cases where I like all the ships instead of just one. Gwendolyn/Oswald was my favorite ship from that game, but Cornelius/Velvet is right behind them, to the point where I can't really tell which is my Odin Sphere OTP. Ingway/Mercedes, while I like them, is kind of hanging off to the back. I think my biggest issue is probably writing Ingway's super snarky nature. One of my friends is like the master of IngMer fics, so I leave them to her, though . Fletch/Tyne- From Chuggington. It's kind of easy to see their playful bickering as something to hide their feelings...that or I guess I've been wearing shipping goggles for way too long... Callie/Peck-From Sheriff Callie's Wild West. Blame the dA artists on this one; I was just looking for pictures of Peck and some Callie/Peck pics came up...and then I ended up looking around for more pictures of them because I ended up thinking they were cute. Plus, I've written a few fics on them, one of which is a long-running one. Steven/Connie-From Steven Universe, of course. It can go both ways, though... Marlin/Dory-Of course, from Finding Nemo. I never considered these two an actual possibility until a friend of mine (who kind of got back into Finding Nemo) told me about it. I can see it going both ways, though (hence why I've listed this pair under BroTP as well), but just imagining the highstrung Marlin falling for the free-spirited Dory is pretty adorable. NozoEli, NozoNico, TsubaHonk-The only ships from the original Love Live! School idol Project that I like; although I love NozoEli, I find Nozomi/Nico to be cute as well. And of course, there's TsubaHonk. :) ChikaYou, DiaChika, ChikaRiko, ChikaKanan, YouRiko, RubyMaru, RubyLeah, DiaMaru, YohaRuby, KanaDia-From Love Live! Sunshine!!. I ship Best Love Live Girl with virtually everyone in Aqours, but ChikaYou is my main ship, followed by DiaChika. I didn't even know it was a thing until seeing some fan art for it on Tumblr and it's super cute. I've also warmed up to ChikaRiko as a ship as well; I used to hate them since in season one it felt more like forced yuri bait (and because it got in the way of my ship; yes, I'm ashamed), but some of the art is cute, the fics are great, its shippers as a whole are cool people and I will defend Riko if people start trying to shift blame on her. Plus, YouRiko works if there's DiaChika :) KanaChika is a pairing I've warmed up to recently, although it can also be BroTP. RubyMaru is adorbs but recently I've come to really like RubyLeah and DiaMaru. YohaRiko and YohaRuby are also cute. And while I don't really hate KanaMari, I prefer KananDia. HibiMiku, KiriShira, Tsubamaria, TsubaChris-From Senki Zesshou Symphogear. HibiMiku's cute, but I love KiriShira more. And I ship Tsubasa with both Maria and Chris. Fight me :3 ChiHaru, YukiMako, YayoIori, Azusa/Producer-From the original IDOLM@STER. I think I like YukiMako more, but ChiHaru's also good. And I low key ship YayoIori, but I like them as best friends. Plus, I've seen work of Azusa/Producer, and it's really adorable. UzuRin, MikuRiina-From the IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls. I don't really ship anyone there, but I really like Uzuki and Rin's dynamic though. KasuAri, EveMaya- From BanG Dream!. About the only two ships I like from that series, honestly... Lupin/Fujiko, Jigen/Goemon, Jigen/Fujiko, Zenigata/Fujiko, Goemon/Fujiko-From Lupin III. Despite all of her backstabbing ways, I like Fujiko, and I do love Lupin's devotion to his Fujicakes, despite the problems she brings. Their dynamic is always interesting to watch and often it makes me laugh. You can blame FF. Net and Tumblr for Jigen/Goemon, and Tumblr (well, more specifically an RP blog called jigen-daisuke) for making me ship Jigen/Fujiko. It's now one of the few crack ships that I enjoy that I would openly ship. As for Fujiko/Goemon and Fujiko/Zenigata...I think those are mostly pure crack ships I enjoy. What can I say, Fujiko's kinda like the town bicycle in the Lupin fandom :P Canon/OC OTPs: Honestly, who doesn't have one? :D This section is still under construction! OC/OC OTPs: Even original characters get a little love between each other once in a while. BroTPs: My favorite friendship pairs :3 Nanoha and Fate, Nanoha and Vita, Fate and Signum-Yeah, the Nanoha fandom will probably have my head for these, but I mostly enjoy Nanoha and Fate as this (although I don't mind their status in ViVid). Nanoha's interactions with Vita, especially in the second movie, were so cute (then again, Vita was adorable in that movie), so I can definitely see them as being an odd pair of best friends. And of course, there's Fate and Signum; the pairing itself tends to weird me out. Tsubasa and Maria, Maria and Kanade, Hibiki and Chris- From Senki Zesshou Symphogear. I've seen some cool artwork of Maria and Kanade interacting that kind of warmed me up to the idea. And Hibiki's interactions with Chris are always funny and adorable. And while I kinda like Tsubasa and Maria together, I can see their relationship like this too. Madoka and Mami, Kyoko and Sayaka, Madoka and Homura-From Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I love Mami's big sister nature towards Madoka, and Kyoko and Sayaka's friendship is always amusing to watch. And of course, Madoka's interactions with Homura were adorable. Peridot and Steven, Amethyst and Peridot, Steven and Connie-From Steven Universe. Marlin and Dory, Woody and Buzz, Lightning and Mater-From Pixar, of course. Peck and Toby-From Sheriff Callie's Wild West. Konata and Kagami, Yutaka and Minami, Misao and Ayano-From Lucky Star. I can understand the writer playing up the yuri subtext as a way of drawing in readers, but I never saw any of these three pairs as anything more than that. Konata and Kagami make me laugh. Bob and Larry, Archie and Larry, Pa Grape and Mr. Lunt-From VeggieTales. These three are pretty much common in most of my VeggieTales fics. Top Cat and Huck, T.C. and Officer Dibble, Yogi and Huck, Huck and Snagglepuss, Quick Draw and Baba Looey, Snooper and Blabber, Shaggy and Scooby, Touché Turtle and Dum-Dum, Ricochet and Droop-a-Long-From Hanna-Barbera. You'd be surprised to see T.C. and Huck as first on this list, since they hardly interact, but I personally think that they'd be great friends. In most of my stories featuring HuckleFlower or T.C./Trixie, these two are like the best bros. I love the Dibble/T.C. odd friendship; it's the main reason why those two are my favorite characters. Huck and Yogi's friendship (which was even seen in the cartoons), as well as Huck and Snagglepuss' friendship (which was also in the cartoons and can be seen in The Heroes of Time), are also great Huck friendships that I like. And of course, you can't leave out Shaggy and Scooby. Other odd friendship pairs that I like include the "opposites attract" friendships of Quick Draw and Baba Looey (namely in The Ghost of Huckleberry Hound and in Have Guitar, Will Travel), Snooper and Blabber (which I think is more of those odd, snarky friendships but you can tell they're the best of bros), Touché Turtle and Dum-Dum (for about the same reason as Ricochet and Droop-a-Long), and Ricochet Rabbit and Droop-a-Long (I mean, I wrote an entire collection about it!). Ichigo and Aoi, Ringo and Orihime-From Aikatsu! I can see why people ship them, but I prefer them as friends. Kirby and Meta-Knight-From Kirby, of course. Reading Vulaan Kulaas' stories got me into the idea, and I love how she portrays them in a father-son relationship. Ash and Pikachu-From Pokemon. True best friends to the end :D Layton and Luke-From Professor Layton. I love the mentor-student relationship between them :D Rarity and Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie-From My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Lupin and Jigen, Jigen and Goemon, Lupin and Goemon, Lupin and Zenigata-From Lupin III. Although I can definitely see why some people ship them (and I ship almost all of them except for Lupin/Zenigata), it's the friendships between them that I love the most. Lupin and Jigen's partnership is awesome, and I love how the special Episode 0: First Contact showed how they started working together. As for Jigen and Goemon, I love how even though they aren't as close as Lupin and Jigen, they respect each other as both men and warriors, and I love their remarks when it comes to Fujiko (which I admit, even as a fan of Fujiko, that she sometimes deserves). For Lupin and Goemon, I like their dynamic well enough, although the fact that Goemon went from "I'll do whatever it takes to kill you" to "I'll help you out with anything" still baffles me. And Lupin and Zenigata are likable for the same reasons as Officer Dibble and T.C. above, except that Zenigata has totally earned the nickname "Pops"--for all his wanting to capture Lupin, there's no denying that he cares about the thief's well-being and sometimes even has fatherly concern for him. Likewise, Lupin views him as a worthy rival and won't allow anybody to capture him other than Pops, and sometimes he feels bad when it appears that Zenigata's dead. One of the reasons that In Memory of Walther P-38/Island of Assassins and Voyage to Danger are two of my favorite movies is because of this whole dynamic...which, along with competent Zenigata, always gets me squeeing :) NicoRinPana, HonoRin, HonoNico, HonoChika, HonoMaki, YohaChika, YouHane, ChikaMari, ChikaMaru- From both Love Live! and Sunshine!!. NicoRinPana (and then there's simply NicoPana) are the original Three Bros, while HonoRin had a duet together; I don't mind the ship, but I don't quite see the reason people ship them honestly. As for HonoNico and HonoMaki...I kinda joked about them being ships and then it turned out they existed. And while I don't mind them as ships (they're better than NicoMaki, at least), I think they'd have this dynamic. And I did read a good HonoChika ship fic, but as for me, I think the two of them would be the best of "bros" for a loose term. Same with ChikaMaru and YouHane; I don't see the appeal of them as ships. As for ChikaMari and YohaChika, I can see ChikaMari being the two crazy sisters who'd do anything and everything (although Mari would rein Chika in on her more outlandish ideas), whlie YohaChika would be like the siblings who fight but would drop kick someone if they looked at either of them wrong. NoTPs: Yes, even someone like me has pairings that I don't like. Of course, I won't shove them down your throat or make you feel like trash for liking them, and I respect you for liking something I don't. MadoHomu (Madoka/Homura)-This is partly due to the BroTP factor, but another factor is because of Homura's obsessive and possessive nature towards Madoka in the original series. And possessive and obsessive relationships are a huge turn-off factor for me, so...yeah, you can see why I don't like this one. NanoFate-Again, partly due to the BroTP factor, but also because I feel that it's overexposed and it feels like it's being shoved in my face everywhere I go. I actually used to be pretty neutral towards NanoFate until a friend of mine started being harassed for writing Yuunoha stories, and I encountered stories where one of my favorite characters, Yuuno, was being treated like dirt in about 90% of them. Becky/Scoops, Becky/Two-Brains-From WordGirl. I like Scoops as a character, but I don't see any chemistry between him and Becky. And Becky/Two-Brains doesn't work at all because the age difference... Layton/Luke, Layton/Flora-From Professor Layton. This one usually brings out a lot of disgust in me, and it's not because it's yaoi. It's Layton in a relationship with an eleven-year old boy, for crying out loud. Even aging Luke up (which leads to Layton/Legal Luke) doesn't lessen my disgust. I've heard that people have also shipped Layton with Flora, the girl that he adores like a daughter...*shudders* I know that Layton is a shipping bicycle, but COME ON, people. Ash/Pikachu-With the possible exception of Chikorita/Bayleef, I usually don't ship Ash with any of his Pokemon, but this one is just flat-out weird. Lucas/Maya-From Girl Meets World. It may be because I love Lucas/Riley, but I don't really see too much chemistry between the two of them. As the episode "Girl Meets Ski Lodge" showed, Lucas and Maya probably would be at each other's throats, what with Maya's rule-breaking and Lucas trying to be the noble one. Robin/Starfire (Teen Titans Go!)-Yeah, this isn't too much of a surprise. Aside from Robin being overly obsessed with Star, there are episodes where she takes advantage of his feelings and uses them to humiliate him; those episodes were not cool. Edmund/Lucy-From The Chronicles of Narnia. I don't like any of the Pevensie siblings being shipped with each other, but this one in particular makes my skin crawl. I can see people shipping the actors, but the characters? Seriously? Top Cat/Officer Dibble- From Top Cat. I can kinda see why people ship them; due to Top Cat's smooth personality, it sounds like he's sweet-talking everyone, Dibble included. Personally, I enjoy their love-hate friendship. I can tolerate it, though, but I don't ship it. NicoMaki- From Love Live! School Idol Project. I've never seen the appeal of these two, and even in the anime, I didn't see what all the hype was about. I personally prefer them as a BroTP (though I can understand why people would ship it), but it's one that I don't have a total objection to. YohaMaru, DiaRuby, KananMari-From Love Live! Sunshine!!. It's probably because I ship Yoshiko and Hanamaru with other members of Aqours, but I think this pairing is overrated, as is KananMari; doesn't help that in the anime these two pairs are frequently seen together. DiaRuby is freakin' incest. Why would I ship that? And I did like KananMari in the past, but shippers quickly ruined that :/ Lupin/Zenigata-From Lupin III. I don't ship them for the same reasons I don't ship T.C./Officer Dibble, and I much prefer their pseudo-father/son dynamic. Unlike most of the NoTPs on this list, however, I can tolerate it as long as I don't find smut of them. Major Projects (the main projects I want to focus on this year) Mirror, Mirror: Trixie LaRue is a down-to-earth journalist who's got an eye for fashion. She didn't believe that magic or anything remotely supernatural was real...right up until she purchased a beautiful mirror with a ghastly surprise: a cat trapped inside it. The cat in question, Top Cat, is a prisoner from four centuries past who's got his eye on freedom, and believes that Trixie's the key to it. At first, Trixie wants nothing to do with this, but when strange forces start taking interest in her and Top Cat, she may have to believe in the impossible in order to save him. In the midst of this, an unlikely partnership forms between them, but will demons of the past and preset keep them from being anything more than just friends? Modern-day fantasy AU inspired by an OTP prompt, and T.C./Trixie. Chapters: 3/12 Status: Chapter 4 nearly complete Author's Notes: I haven't forgotten this fic at all. I have been writing it off and on, but I've just been having writer's block regarding some parts. This chapter is halfway finished, but it's just taking a while. Blazin' Trails: He's the fastest sheriff in the West, with a prideful nature and a bit of a temper to boot. He's the slowest deputy around, bumbling through life in his clumsy, easygoing way. They've had their fair share of fights, and more than once they've been put through the ringer. But if one thing can't be argued, it's that their friendship, while odd, is unbreakable. A collection of vignettes focusing on Ricochet Rabbit and Droop-a-Long, ranging from sweet to silly to serious. Features Droop-a-Long/OC (and future Ricochet/OC) in some shorts. Chapters: 28/whenever I decide to stop Status: Chapter 28 posted. Still on semi-hiatus (since my attention's on its wiki), multiple chapters in progress Author's Note: I can hardly believe that this story's almost three years old. Not only is this my longest work in the Hanna-Barbera fandom (come to think of it, I think this is the longest work in the Hanna-Barbera archive period), but this is probably my longest work on this site (with Sodor Magic Crusaders and SRBA not far behind). This wasn't even supposed to be a series; it was supposed to just be a one-shot, but then it turned into a freaking anthology. I've heard that a lot of people enjoy my characterizations of Ricochet and Droop-a-Long, and my good friend Vulaan Kulaas has contributed by writing a fic of her own and creating OCs too. Thanks to all who have read and enjoyed this story; it means a lot to me that there are other Ricochet Rabbit and Droop-a-Long fans out there. :) You've Got My Attention: When Sheriff Callie receives attentions from a persistent cat named Timothy, her deputy Peck steps in to drive him off. It was supposed to be over after that, but Timothy isn't about to step aside. The situation that unfolds not only brings disorder to Nice 'n Friendly Corners, but it also brings up buried secrets-Peck's feelings for a certain sheriff being one of them. A Sheriff Callie's Wild West fic. Callie/Peck. Chapters: 6/13 Status: Chapter 6 posted; chapter 7 drafting Author's Note: Who knew that this Sheriff Callie's Wild West fic would be decently popular? I'm not one to brag, but this fic's found some fans on here, dA and Wattpad. A BIG thanks to everyone who's been reading this story and commenting on it. I would've continued it even if it didn't attract anybody, but learning that not only have fans been reading this fic but also took the time to gift me fan art is amazing, and certainly not the response I expected. Seriously, thanks guys :D Sodor Magic Crusaders: Thomas Billington is a hard-working, but cheeky university student. He and his good friend, Toby, are getting through the second-to-last semester of school, and it seems as though he's got his life in the bag. That all changes when an injured man falls out of the sky, carrying a set of mysterious pages and an equally mysterious jewel. When another man with a flaming sword comes falling out of the sky moments later with the intention to kill them, Thomas ends up activating the strange jewel, Raising Heart, and becomes a mage. Not long after this, the seven pages that Percy had been carrying split all over Sodor. With these pages all over Sodor, the peaceful island becomes the focal point in a magical war from another dimension as evil mages come to find the page. Agreeing to help recover the Pages before the evil Diesel 10 can, Thomas and his new friends face a set of challenges that will test their resolve. A humanized fusion crossover with Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, set in an alternate universe and filled with divergences from canon. Chapters: 15/20 Status: Chapter 15 posted Author's Note: If you think this is the strangest story I've ever written, you don't want to see my older fics XD In the future, I'll be giving this story a remake treatment in the vein of The MOVIE 1st, but that'll be after I finish this story. I'll Never Abandon You: The Crystal Castle and the realms beyond may be restored, but Glover hopes to restore his relationship with his brother, Patches, who has been increasingly distant. He believes that Patches doesn't care for him anymore-but a situation involving an old enemy of Lance's changes all that. A two-shot request for my good friend, Vulaan Kulaas. Chapters: 1/2 Status: Chapter 2 being written Author's Notes: This story's been lying dormant for a while (although not nearly as long as Have Guitar, Will Travel), but I promised Vulaan Kulaas that I would finish it, so that's what I'm going to do. Unlike most of my fics that are on hiatus, I actually know how it's going to end; it's just writing the darn thing that's bugging me... The Return of the Phantom Empire: The safety of the galaxy is threatened when the remnants of a horrific enemy known as the Phantom Empire, led by the wizened and terrifying Donkirk, arise after ten years of banishment. Bent on revenge, they capture Top Cat and his crew and hold them hostage as part of their plot to regain power. The Galaxy Goof-Ups are called onto the case, but when their goofing around puts Snerdly in the hands of the enemy, the team could be facing serious consequences as a result of their constant failure. A fanfic for the oft-forgotten Yogi Bear spin-off Galaxy Goof-Ups, expanded from one of my "Hanna-Barbera Head Dumps". Chapters: 5/15 Status: Chapter 6 in planning stage Author's Notes: I'm quite surprised with the response that this fic has gotten; I seriously didn't expect any reviews or favorites for it. According to most H-B fans, Galaxy Goof-Ups is one of the worst Hanna-Barbera cartoons of all time, so writing a good fic about it was not only a challenge, but it sounded foolhardy! However, my friend and fellow deviant CooperGal24 (who has some really cool H-B fanart; you should check her stuff, it's awesome) loves the story and a few other people enjoyed it (including my brother, who isn't as big a H-B fan). Thanks to all who reviewed and favorited! It really makes my day! :D Big City Tabby: Punkin' Puss receives a letter from a long forgotten friend, and in the letter is an invitation to spend a week in the big city. Deciding to take a break from his feud with Mushmouse, Punkin' accepts the invitation, and heads out...not knowing that Mushmouse has also tagged along! With fancy parties, beautiful girls, family drama and good old-fashioned feuding, one thing's for sure: it's one vacation neither of them will forget! A four-shot Punkin' Puss and Mushmouse fic partly for "finals relief"...and because I felt like it. Chapters: 1/4 Status: Part 2 on hiatus Author's Notes: I am going back and forth on this fic. The good news is, the chapter's at the halfway point, and I mostly know the events that's going to happen afterwards. The bad news is, I'm trying to get past that halfway point for ages... The Zula Patrol: Dreamscape Crusade: During a trip to newly discovered ruins, Multo and his friend Professor Autofocus make a startling discovery-a discovery that soon causes tragedy for the Zula Patrol. Before the team can overcome their grief, a new threat called the Legion, led by the mysterious Paragor, appears on Zula the day after Multo’s funeral. His plan: to lay waste to Zula in order to make way for an alternate world, known as a ‘Dreamscape’, to come to pass. As they take up the case, however, they discover that what they've been told about the Dreamscape isn't even half of the whole story. Their investigation leads them to uncover dark secrets that should've remained hidden, revealing age old grudges, and putting strong bonds through the ringer. It's another job for the Zula Patrol, but this time, the universe as they know it is at stake. My first REAL full-length Zula Patrol fic Heavy AU, contains light sci-fi and fantasy themes. Multo/Zeeter, Bula/OC. Inspired by the fic Lyrical Nanoha: Time Destruction by Flutter-Chaos. Chapters: 10/40 Status: Chapter 11 on hiatus Author's Notes: I've been working on this one back and forth as well. I got to a halfway point here too, but I'm stuck trying to figure out what happens next. SRBA Gaiden: Darkness Rewrite: Stories in the fairytale world are being severely altered, and Whyatt is suspected to be responsible for it. In order to clear his name, the Super Readers venture into the ruined stories, only to encounter a threat the likes of which they'd never seen before. A four-part side-story to Super Readers' Biggest Adventure leading to Chaos' Revenge, and contains small Whyatt/Red moments. Chapters: 3/4 Status: Chapter 4 in drafting stage Author's Notes: I started chapter 4 not long after posting chapter 3. I do have some ideas for how it's going to end up, but right now, I want to focus on my other stories, first. The Damage Control (stories that can be updated at any time) If Likin' You Is Wrong & Other Stories: Droop-a-Long Coyote's the slowest, sweetest deputy around, bumbling through life in his own easygoing way. Denise Falconeri's a rabbit who, while being a proper lady, has a bit of an adventurous streak. On normal circumstances, these two never would've met, let alone form a relationship. That'd all change with one sentence: "I know this ain't entirely the best of ideas. But if likin' you is wrong, then I don't want to do the right thing." A small companion collection to Blazin' Trails, leading directly up to the events of the short "Rapid Romance". Droop-a-Long/OC Chapters: 1/8 Status: Overhaul (Rewriting chapter 1, writing chapter 2) Author's Note: This companion series to Blazin' Trails was just going to be the Valentine's Day special, but I decided it'd be good to explain Denise's and Droop-a-Long's love story. Since I was kinda dissatisfied with the original ending, I'm going to rewrite the first chapter before working on the second one...or maybe I might take it down and repost a better version. In the Forge Fiery Heart, Broken Soul Remastered: A full out remaster of my second Super Smash Brothers fic, written using Vulaan Kulaas's OC, and my first mature story. Warnings/triggers: graphic violence, psychological and physical torture, implied rape and sexual themes (but not for the reasons you believe). Chapters: 114 Status: Original version scrapped and being rewritten Author's Notes: This story WILL return, I promise. It hasn't been updated in three years, and it really, REALLY needs an update. As I've said before, I have a better grasp on Scarlet than when I was first writing her, and I believe I improved greatly as a writer from the last time I updated FH, BS. Plus, I never did come up with a proper outline for the story...which doesn't really work when you're trying to write an epic with every Nintendo character (and non Nintendo character) ever. I didn't want to take it down without asking Vulaan Kulaas first, though, but she pretty much agreed with me, so I'll be giving this story the remake treatment too. Have Guitar, Will Travel (Remastered): A remake of the original 4-shot sequel to The Ghost of Huckleberry Hound. Quick Draw/OC, with some hints of Baba/OC. Chapters: 4 Status: Original version scrapped and being rewritten Author's Notes: I've agonized over this story for years, because I didn't want to leave people hanging, but I also couldn't come up with anything. I have an original outline that I wrote out, but I changed it later on during the writing of the fic. And now I have no idea what to do for the ending now... *sighs* A part of me wants to finish the story and give it a proper ending, but I'm thinking of doing a new story with the original outline. I must apologize to those who were looking forward to seeing the original fic's conclusion, but I just can't continue it the way it is now. I'm going to use the original outline for this story and rewrite it as it was originally intended. I won't spoil it for you, but let's just say that you'll enjoy this rewrite a little better than the first version. The Heroes of Time ReMIX: A full-out remaster of the original Hanna-Barbera/Kingdom Hearts crossover, Kingdom Hearts style! Chapters: 50 (for now) Status: Original version scrapped and being rewritten Author's Note: When I started writing this, I was starting to get into Hanna-Barbera, but I knew very little of Kingdom Hearts. However, I figured "Hey, KH is cool, and H-B is cool, so I'll just put together and see what I come up with". I just basically made up stuff as I went along while using info from the KH Wiki. I had a semi-outline I started a few years ago, but discarded it later. The problem I have now is that while I know WAY more about H-B than I originally did, I still don't know much about Kingdom Hearts...which has made the recent chapters feel kinda weird. I've recently tried to rewrite the first chapter of the story, but I've run into the same problem. With KH3 about to come out, I figured I might as well buy the games and play them to get a better understanding of the KH world, then do a proper outline for the story again, this time incorporating the KH elements in the HB universe. Does this mean Sora and the others will appear in this remake? Who knows for sure? But I'm pretty sure this will be remade in the same vein as the many KH collections, possibly "The Heroes of Time ReMIX" or something like that :D Just like Fiery Heart, Broken Soul, I'm going to do a revamp of this story to add more KH elements to the story and update the portrayals of the Hanna-Barbera characters I started with. Tea for Two Redone: A full-out remaster of my original fic, Tea for Two. AU (obviously), and Archie/Lovey, with very light sprinkles of BoBerry (Bob/Madame Blueberry). Chapters: 10 Status: Original version scrapped and being rewritten Author's Note: You'd think that my return to the VeggieTales fandom would be with the series I started, but I want to try my hand at writing romance again. And this time with one of my favorite (but also cringe-inducing) fanfics from before I left the VT fandom. I liked writing this at first and was glad to finish it...but on the other hand, it was riddled with plot holes and contradictions. And I felt that I rushed the romance, too, something that I really didn't like. So I'm going to take it down and revamp it from the ground up and hopefully make the characters a little more likable and their actions making a lot more sense. I'm also thinking of redoing "Hugs and Kisses" as well, but I might leave up the original for people to read instead of taking it down. On Permanent Hiatus Dog Days: After losing his job due to fighting with another employee, Huckleberry Hound finds a job offer in the newspaper that reads "We have a fabulous new job for you in Equestria, a peaceful world, and one that promises good pay. Positions available now!" Said job offer didn't specify what the job was, but the words "good pay" were enough for Huck. So he packs his bags and makes his way there, following the directions the map gave him. A bizarre portal trip later, he arrives in a world with colorful equine creatures, and learns from a hyperactive local that this is the Equestria the paper was referring to. Despite the weird new surroundings, Huck ends up getting a new job as a member of the Royal Guard thanks to Princess Celestia, and settles into a comfortable life with his new friends. Of course, wherever Huck goes, trouble isn't far behind. Not long after starting his new job, a horrific monster from ages past is unleashed, turning ponies into crystals and consuming Ponyville with dark magic. And Huck finds out that he's first in the line of defense to stop it. Some "fabulous new job" this turned out to be. A Hanna-Barbera/MLP:FIM crossover (possibly the first of its kind) filled with silly antics, some slice-of-life moments and cameos from various characters! Author's Note: I had to put this story on hold for right now. I've more or less fallen out of the MLP fandom, sporadically returning to the show every now and again, and every attempt to work on this story is not working the way I want it to. I'll come back to it and it will get the ending it deserves...but not right now, however. Future Projects Thingamabob: Origins: Takes place before the League of Incredible Vegetables, and partially inspired by Iron Man. Bob the Tomato is an aspiring inventor who recently moved to the small, peaceful city of Rapscale. He starts a new job, makes friends with the neighbors, and thinks that nothing could go wrong with the town. This is proven wrong, however, when the city falls under a wave of crime after two new supervillains start terrorizing the city. Unable to watch this unfold and do nothing, Bob uses his inventing skills to make a super powered belt with various gadgets. Donning a whole new identity, he decides to take on crime as the one and only Thingamabob. A VeggieTales joint effort with Jack Frost cadi93. Author's Note: This story almost became my first full-length VeggieTales fanfic, but in February 2013, I ended up writing Hugs and Kisses instead. I made friends with Jack Frost cadi93 during that time, and after writing Best Friends Forever-Redone, I decided to follow through on my story. Unfortunately, since I lost interest in VeggieTales, it didn't get off the ground. But there is hope for it, since recently, I've been rediscovering my love for the classic episodes. I think that people are holding out for Hugs and Kisses-Remastered, but we'll see. Status: On hold Ricocheted Rendezvous: While investigating a series of crimes in Hoop ‘n Holler, Ricochet Rabbit is stunned to find a letter from Melissa Starkweather, his former girlfriend that he loved but later lost to his job and to another rabbit. In her letter, she states that she desperately needs his help, and arranges to meet him at their old meeting place. The two reunite, but any chance of a rekindled romance is dashed when Melissa's life, as well as that of a friend of Ricochet's, is put in danger. As he pursues the criminials, Ricochet finds himself facing a daunting decision: the call of duty or his heart's desire. GoHH universe. Sequel to Have Guitar, Will Travel, focusing on Ricochet Rabbit and Droop-a-Long. Ricochet/OC A/N: I started this story around the same time I finished up chapter 3 of Have Guitar, Will Travel...and now it's in the same state that it's in. I will finish this thing...as soon as I finish Have Guitar, Will Travel. Status: On hiatus The Knights of Hanabera: Hanabera, a kingdom full of awesome magic, mythical creatures and talking animals, is in a state of chaos. With the king having fallen in battle, the race is on to claim the throne as Hanabera's neighboring enemies are attempting to invade it. The prince of Hanabera, Cornelius, was exiled years ago, and Dick Dastardly, the only person who's next in line for the throne, is more interested in having ultimate power rather than restoring order. When Dastardly's plans for world domination become known, it's up to six warriors to overthrow him and his wicked council. Will they find the prince and help him regain the throne? Or will all be lost? Fantasy AU heavily inspired by Odin Sphere. HuckleFlower, T.C./Trixie and Quick Draw/OC. Author's Note: I scrapped this idea a while back, but playing Odin Sphere Leifthrasir inspired me to go back to it. Status: Drafting Kicked Into High Gear: New and improved summary coming soon! Author's Note: Another collaboration with an author called brave kid. I'm trying to finish up a few of my other stories before I work on my collabs. Status: Outlining Very Veggie Romance: Five months after making Carrotblanca, Bob gets a call from Letti Jameson, the creator of the popular Tales of the Fridge series, who is interested in making a remake of the second movie. Being fans of the series, Bob immediately signs on for the project, and the Veggies get to work with Rick Loraine and the other costars of the show. Romance between the various couples blossoms on set...but will everything be ruined when an old enemy wreaks havoc? The long-awaited sequel to Hugs and Kisses. Archie/Lovey, Larry/Petunia, and Bob/Madame Blueberry, as well as Mr. Lunt/Ellen and an OC pairing. Author's Note: So many people wanted to see this story--and come to think of it, so did I! The Dugan Crown Affair: A week after the Black Knight Incident, Touché and Dum-Dum learn that Dum-Dum has received a massive family fortune, which includes a crown said to control dragons. They make their way to Ireland to claim it, only to discover the real reason Dum-Dum inherited this treasure. Sequel to For Love and Glory. Status: Drafting chapter 1 Author's Note: I started drafting sequels for For Love and Glory not long after completing the story, and this is the first one, focusing on Touché's faithful sidekick Dum-Dum, although Touché's still going to have a major role in it alongside a few other OC's. I'm still working out some details, but I won't be posting this story until I finish all the chapters and knock out a few things on my to-do list :) Original Characters (still under reconstruction) To say that I have a lot of original characters is an understatement. The only place that could possibly house them all is a wiki :) Some of these characters are recycled from my older stories that'll never see the light of day on this site...unless you are morbidly curious, and then I'll put them on Tumblr. :) I keep them all here on my already insanely long profile, and I tend to do pretty detailed bios on them filled with lots of info, which only makes my profile even longer. There are also original characters that were created by my friend Vulaan Kulaas, who often asks me to write stories featuring her characters. I have them listed here because she comes up with them, and I end up fleshing them out and coming up with the backstories with them, since I'm good at that sort of thing. I do my best to make sure that these characters are well-developed and not overpowered, instantly liked Mary-Sues. Your mileage may vary on that, but I hope I'm doing my job right :) I'll list them by story so you won't wonder where the heck these guys are supposed to go. The story's title is in italics, and the character's bio is in bold. * IMPORTANT NOTE: These profiles contain spoilers for events in my stories. If you made it this far and don't want parts of the story to be spoiled for you, then don't read. You have been warned! Super Reader's Biggest Adventure universe (SRBA 'Verse) Inspired by: Cure Muse from Suite Precure (design-wise) Age: 11 Species: Human Eyes: Ruby/Magenta Hair Color: Light Orange Theme Colors: Gold/light yellow Weapons: Sparkbreaker, Royal Mojule Goal(s): To save the fairytale world from the Evil Reader's rule Appearances: Super Readers’ Biggest Adventure (major character), SRBA Gaiden: Chronicles of Major Land (major), SRBA Gaiden: The Legend of Minor Land (major), Chaos’ Revenge (supporting role) Princess Muse Capriccio is a princess and one of the main characters of Super Readers’ Biggest Adventure. She is one of three main characters in the story 'Major Land', a fairytale about a kingdom that thrives on music. Due to an uprising between former residents of the land’s distant, evil half Minor Land, the country has been locked in a brutal war. Despite a war going on, she was kept out of the conflict until the Evil Reader made his presence known in the country and started to destroy parts of it. Her father, Mephisto, refused to fight the Evil Reader, which led to tensions in the royal court. When the Evil Reader attacked the heart of the kingdom itself, her father had no choice but to lead his army against the Evil Reader’s army of possessed villagers from other stories. Deciding that she needed to help, Muse asked her father to give her some weapons to fight, and as such, Mephisto gave her her mother's Royal Mojule and the family heirloom Sparkbreaker to fight. Although she focused on freeing people from the Evil Reader’s spells, she later ended up fighting against the Evil Reader himself, and their ensuing battle resulted in a bitter rivalry.* During the two-year war, she extended her reach to other stories instead of just her home country of Major Land in order to save people before the Evil Reader took control of them; this led to her meeting Woofster, who she saved from the Evil Reader when he was losing his powers. She later learned of the only people who could stop the Evil Reader—the Super Readers, who were said to be very powerful. Although she and Woofster spent most of their time searching for them, Muse was forced to return home when she received word that the Evil Reader was at the heart of the world, the World Tree, and was trying to steal the Sword of Sealing. She and Woofster confronted the Evil Reader, and they had a deadly duel that ended with the Evil Reader winning and forging a brand-new sword. With the little energy she had left, she escaped to Storybrook Village, and caused quite an uproar after crash landing in the center of Storybrook, and due to the extent of her injuries she is taken in by Prince Charming and Princess Priscilla, Princess Pea’s parents. She at first tries to warn the villagers ow what’s to come, but nobody believes her until the Evil Reader, following her to Storybrook, starts turning the adults of Storybrook Village evil. After learning that Whyatt and his friends were the Super Readers she was looking for, she agrees to allow them to help her defeat the Evil Reader. She only fights the Evil Reader twice after joining up with the Super Readers, and just like them, becomes aware of a greater evil that is upon their village. Due to the war in her country and her rivalry with the Evil Reader, Muse is serious, focused and can have a biting sense of humor. Underneath her tough demeanor, she is a kindhearted, well-meaning person underneath her tough demeanor. She has no problems asking for others' help, but she can be prideful and as such doesn’t like admitting when she's wrong, takes on most of the workload herself, and doesn't like people worrying over her all the time. She sometimes overdoes it with her attacks, and has been to use 'a little force' when diplomacy fails, even if there was a slight disagreement; this can cause more harm than good, as she can seriously end up hurting people. However, she is quick to apologize for what she did, and is eager to make amends. Etymology: The name “Muse” comes from the Muses, who are the inspirational goddesses of literature, science, and the arts in Greek mythology. In current English usage, "muse" can refer in general to a person who inspires an artist, writer, or musician. Her last name, “Capriccio”, is a music term that refers to a quick, improvisational, spirited piece of music, which fits her fighting style. The Evil Reader (real name: Jackson Flatts) Inspired by: Anakin Skywalker Age: 15 (later revealed to be 18 after the final chapter) Species: Human Hair Color: Raven Eye Color: Green Weapons: Shadowdoom (original), Doombringer (after he gains the Sword of Sealing), the Dark Prophecies Goal(s): To completely rewrite the fairytale world according to his wishes (it seems like this); to regain his body back and do whatever he can to atone for what he's done (as Jackson) Appearances: Super Readers’ Biggest Adventure (major antagonist/anti-villain), SRBA Gaiden: Darkness Rewrite (minor protagonist), Chaos’ Revenge (protagonist) The Evil Reader is the main antagonist in Super Readers’ Biggest Adventure. He is a teenaged boy who is also the most powerful supervillain in the fairytale world and is feared across all stories for his ability to warp anything he chooses—his favorite things seem to be stories and the people who inhabit those stories, twisting them into cruel mockeries of themselves. Many people have grudges against him, especially Princess Muse Capriccio and Woofster, who were personally affected by his destructive sprees. He seeks to gain two very important and very powerful artifacts: the Sword of Sealing, the most powerful sword in the universe, and the Reader's Amulet, which will give one control over all of the fairy tale realm and thereby rewrite stories at will. He defeats Muse and Woofster at the World Tree, steals the Sword of Sealing from its base, and creates a new sword called Doombringer by forging the Sword with Shadowdoom, his original blade. When Muse escapes, he soon invades Storybrook Village to both hunt her down and take it over, as he turns nearly all the inhabitants into possessed slaves and destroys most of the village. The Super Readers have no choice but to chase him down at this point, and he and his cohort Lexicon face off against them many times over the course of the story. During the story, it’s revealed that not many know of his personal history is unknown to most of the fairytale realm, but the story hints that he was once a Super Reader and something happened to make him hate them, although he doesn’t like talking about his past. In Chapter 17, the Super Readers and Lexicon, who has abandoned the Evil Reader, head into a library where they find a book on his history. What they learn there surprises them. The book reveals that the Evil Reader used to be a resident of Minor Land, Major Land's evil neighbors. His real name is Jackson Flatts, a poor boy who got lucky on a scholarship and went to a superhero training camp. As a young boy, the flaws he possesses as the Evil Reader were much more apparent, but he was a gifted magic user and an exceptional swordsman. Together with his friends Cheryl and Carlos, Jackson trained to become a Super Reader, but he had problems controlling his powers, which led to ostracism among his fellow peers and a few of his friends, resulting in him being kept back. He later discovered that he had the power to warp reality, and originally sought to use his powers to help people as a Super Reader, but his school declined his training as they feared that his reality warping powers and his magic would make him far too powerful to be a Super Reader. While sulking home, Jackson came across a powerful object called the Black Crystal. He met the crystal’s conscience, Helena, who told him that she was able to help him control his powers, but before she could, he has to learn to suppress his flaws and help free her (and only her) from the Crystal. During this time, he fell in love with his best friend Cheryl, but ended up being heartbroken when her father revealed that she was betrothed to his friend, Carlos. The Black Crystal was later shattered and its inhabitant, Chaos, killed Helena and later tempted Jackson by using and twisting his bad memories. This caused Jackson to completely snap, and in his grieving rage, he allowed Chaos to take over his body, taking his powers, changing his identity to the Evil Reader, and used his new powers to destroy his entire story, killing everyone he loved, including his best friends Cheryl and Carlos. He immediately felt bad for what he did, but he soon learns that the deal he made with Chaos is irreversible, as the mad being soon removes him from his body and leaves him in an alternate plane, where he is tortured constantly by Chaos while the latter uses his body to fulfill his purpose to rule the world, killing Super Readers and making Jackson hated and feared across the world. Thankfully, the Super Readers decide to make freeing Jackson from Chaos their new priority, and later after Whyatt defeats Chaos, Jackson regains a new body, although he along with Lexicon is sentenced for his past crimes against Minor Land and has his powers taken away. He thanks Whyatt and the rest of the Super Readers for helping him regain his body, and goes off to serve his sentence. Originally, as Jackson Flatts, he had a slight ego as well as being arrogant and selfish, but underneath it, he was a good person. After his change as the Evil Reader, he became cruel, destructive and unmerciful. However, whenever he’s done something wrong, he will immediately regret it and try to make amends. Due to his failures in the past, he tends to be very bitter and resentful of Super Readers as well as the Superhero Council. He is very repentant however, and is willing to do anything to make amends, even to serve his sentence. Etymology: In Scottish, the name Jackson means “God has been gracious; has shown favor” and is based on the names John or Jacques. His last name, “Flatts”, is derived from the flat music note. Lexicon Inspired by: Edmund Pevensie from Narnia (a helpful reviewer named Jonathan pointed out the similarities between these two characters.) Age: 56 Species: Human Hair Color: Silver Eye Color: Amber/dark orange Weapons: The Dark Prophecies, Cross Blade (seen in Chapter 10) Goal(s): To get revenge on Major Land and revive his beloved Angelica (at first); to destroy Chaos and help Jackson get his body back to atone for his sins (Chapter 17 onward) Appearances: Super Readers’ Biggest Adventure (secondary antagonist/anti-villain/hero), SRBA: Major Land Chronicles (tritagonist), Chaos’ Revenge (supporting protagonist) Lexicon is the Evil Reader’s partner who was originally the one who taught the Evil Reader how to brainwash people. He was the former advisor to King Mephisto of Major Land, who is Muse’s father, and was trusted by everyone except for the princess. He didn’t like Muse either, seeing her as a pampered brat, and the two are shown to have an intense dislike for each other. During his time at the king’s palace, he and one of the queen’s ladies-in-waiting, Angelica, fell in love with each other. Lexicon had planned to marry her; however, a group of advisers called the High Cleric, who worked directly under the king, were trying to get their hands on the powerful Sword of Sealing. As they already disliked Angelica, they spread rumors that she was going to steal the Sword of Sealing. Lexicon had five of the members removed, but upon hearing that they were going to kill him for doing so, he and Angelica planned to run off together. The High Cleric, though, refused to let them leave, and they brutally murdered Angelica in front of Lexicon despite pleading her innocence. The only thing that remained of her was a small pin that she had kept from her father. Lexicon completely snapped and murdered all the members of the High Cleric in his fury. For this reason, he lost his title of head advisor and was expelled from the kingdom, being sent to a mental institution for two years. During that time, he gathered research on the Sword of Sealing and the Reader's Amulet, and began to plot ways to get revenge and revive Angelica. It was also during that time that he met the Evil Reader, who had heard of him and decided to use him for his own goals of obtaining both items. Ever since then, Lexicon has helped the Evil Reader cause chaos in the fairytale realm in order to get one step closer to revenge. Throughout the story, he and the Evil Reader do not get along with each other. Lexicon finds working under a boy nearly forty years his junior as degrading, and he’s often on the Evil Reader's bad side. In the later part of the story, he begins to question if working with the Evil Reader is worth both the abuse and the punishment he’ll face. He begins to go behind the Evil Reader's back and disobeys orders, the most notable of these when he undoes the spell cast on Prince Charming, Princess Pea’s father, so he can save his possessed daughter. Upon taking more abuse from the Evil Reader, he decides to switch sides and help the Super Readers. Although the group is suspicious of him at first, he proves his true side by helping the Super Readers battle Chaos, who is responsible for all the calamity in the story. After Whyatt defeats Chaos and restores the fairytale realm, both Lexicon and Jackson are hailed as heroes, although they also have to serve time for their actions against the worlds. Lexicon is calmer than the Evil Reader, who’s known to be hammy and psychotic, but in truth his gentlemanly front hides his darker ambitions. While he can talk a good fight, he rarely acts on it and retreats as soon as things go wrong for him. Unlike the Evil Reader, he does have some moral standards, implied when he sees that the Evil Reader has feelings towards Princess Presto. Due to his moral stances on certain things, he has an internal conflict of good and evil, and finds himself in the 'middle' a lot. He also carries a lot of regret for things that he has done in his past, especially with Angelica’s murder at the High Cleric’s hands. Etymology: The word “lexicon” means “the vocabulary of a person, language, or branch of knowledge”. Due to his position as advisor, and due to his past as being the son of scholars, Lexicon is very smart. It is also the name of the planet where WordGirl came from. Jeremiah Inspired: Jacob and King David Age: 68 Species: Half-human Hair Color: White Eye Color: Blue Build: Muscular Skin Tone: Golden brown Weapons: Gungnir (golden gauntlets) Appearances: Super Readers’ Biggest Adventure (major supporting role), SRBA Gaiden series (major supporting/main character), Chaos’ Revenge (main character) Jeremiah is a member of the mysterious Superhero Council and the fairytale world's most powerful superhero. He was originally a mysterious guide who watches over the Super Readers throughout their quest to save the world, and gives upgrades to those he believes have earned their potential. When Chaos fully reveals himself to the Super Readers, Jeremiah comes down to fight him, but Chaos’s amassed power proves to be too much for even Jeremiah to handle. He takes the Super Readers to Storybrook Village to both free the village and destroy the source of power that is feeding Chaos. He and the Super Readers receive new powers (which turn their outfits gold and white in the process) and they destroy the power surge, allowing Whyatt the chance to defeat Chaos. Afterwards, he helps restore the fairytale world along with the Super Readers, and names them as his personal proteges. Little is known about his past life, but he has mentioned offhandedly to his most trusted subordinate Ethan that Chaos is his brother, a fact that he refuses to reveal to the Super Readers, and that he feels incredibly guilty about not being a good brother to him due to an incident in the past. He revered Mother Goose, then stated to be the founder of the Super Readers and one of the most powerful people in the world, and carries a lot of guilt over an event that caused her death. It is also mentioned that he and Chaos are also the last of their kind as the Super Readers are, but as of now it is unknown what their species are. Though he appears to be very composed and calm, he is extremely vengeful once his anger has reached his limit; it takes a lot to make him come back from the brink of nearly killing someone. Although he is the fairytale world’s most powerful superhero, he hardly uses this title (or any of his other titles) to refer to himself and doesn’t like to boast. He is also a God-fearing man, always turning to Him for guidance; his subordinate Ethan calls him “a man always after the One”. He carries a lot of guilt from many past events, although he hides it very well. Jeremiah will get more focus in the SRBA Gaiden series, as well as Chaos' Revenge. Etymology The name Jeremiah is a Hebrew name that means "Exalted of the Lord". Prince Phillip Age: 35 (at the time of death) Species: Human Eye Color: Red Hair Color: Orange Build: Slightly muscular Inspired by: King Arthur Weapons: Oathkeeper, Sword of Sealing (once) Appearances: Super Readers’ Biggest Adventure (minor character), SRBA Gaiden (supporting) Prince Phillip was the original holder of the Sword of Sealing, and noted to be the most famous ruler of Major Land. Much of what is known about him is mostly legend, but his home country went to great lengths to collect every detail of his life so that his real self didn’t truly disappear. The legend went as follows: he wielded Sword of Sealing in his last battle to seal away the Calamity Trigger, a dangerous magical artifact which was destroying Major Land. He died doing so, but before he died, he split the Summoning Pin, the item that summoned any powerful relic, into fifths, and spread it throughout the stories as he foresaw that someone would be after a powerful artifact and would possibly use the Pin to get it. In Chapter 14, Princesses Presto and Muse are sent to Major Land during his time, and learn that there was more to the legend than what was told. His father ended up forming an alliance with their neighboring enemy, Minor Land, which proved to be disastrous; King Falsetto was only using the alliance as a loophole to gain the Calamity Trigger, which was stored in Major Land. Phillip and his father were betrayed and imprisoned in the castle, although Phillip was seen fighting several Minor Land wizards before he, Muse and Princess Presto were captured. Despite escaping their captors thanks to Muse, the Calamity Trigger was activated by Minor Land's wizards and nearly destroyed Major Land. Thankfully, Phillip managed to wrestle the Sword of Sealing from the High Cleric's control, and he used a powerful spell called Final Solution to seal the Trigger and destroyed the High Cleric. Sadly, all of this came at a price, as the attack drained the life of the user for it to be effective, and he dissolved into light shortly afterwards. Despite this, Major Land still put up a gravesite for him. During this time, it is revealed that Mephisto and Phillip were brothers (Phillip being the older of the two by ten years), making Muse his niece, a fact that Mephisto (or possibly the people of Major Land) hid from her. She gets to interact with him, and expresses sorrow that he never got to become king. Chaos Inspired by: Satan (or to be more correct, Lucifer) and Esau Age: Unknown Species: Half-human Skin Color: Grayish white (originally golden brown like Jeremiah’s) Eyes: Yellow-red (think of a Sith’s eyes) Hair: None Build: Muscular Weapons: The Black Crystal, Doombringer (while he's inside Jackson's body) Goal(s): To gain the Reader's Amulet and the Sword of Sealing to rewrite the fairytale world, creating tragic endings and gaining power (he used Jackson as a way to do this); to kill all of the Super Readers (as they alone could stop him) Appearances: Super Readers’ Biggest Adventure (hidden antagonist), Chaos’ Revenge (main antagonist) Chaos is the true antagonist of Super Reader’s Biggest Adventure and the driving force behind the Evil Reader's actions through the story. His previous background is very limited; chapter 17 reveals that he was a mad sorcerer who was intent on rewriting the entire fairytale world, but he lacked the powers to do so. He attempted to seal the one person who could stop him, Helena, inside his personal weapon, the Black Crystal, but she used her powers to seal them both inside. Helena appealed to Jackson to release only her from the crystal, but an unknown stranger activated the Black Crystal and they were both released. Chaos killed Helena not long afterwards, and after giving Jackson his powers, later forcefully took over his body for his powers as well as deciding that he didn’t need a weak-minded person to do his bidding. Masquerading as the Evil Reader, he completely ruined Jackson's reputation, destroying stories and killing Super Readers, whom he had grown to hate as they were the main threat standing in his way of global domination. After stealing the Sword of Sealing, he sets off to find the Reader's Amulet, only to discover that there are still Super Readers. He leaves a path of chaos in his wake as he traps all of the villagers in Storybrook Village, turns the remaining citizens evil and destroys stories. When the Super Readers learn that he was responsible for all the calamity in the fairytale world, they become determined to defeat him and help Jackson get his body back. Chaos nearly succeeds in his plans, but thanks to new powerful modes that they all receive, he is defeated by Whyatt and is cast into the underworld, destined to be tortured for eternity. However, he swears revenge on the Super Readers and the rest of the fairytale world, resulting in him devising a sinister plan… While he is very calculating and has the skills to back up nearly all of his claims, his short temper, his arrogance, and his pride are his fatal flaws. He also has a (very creepy) crush on Princess Presto, who thankfully doesn't reciprocate his feelings. On several occasions, he has shown a lapse in sanity, which made his henchman, Lexicon, betray him to help the Super Readers. One thing about Chaos is that once he has his sights set on something, he'll do anything to get it, no matter who he has to kill. He is also known to carry intense grudges against people and is very unforgiving towards those who have wronged him. He will return in the sequel. Helena Inspired by: Reinforce Eins from Nanoha A's Age: Unknown Species: Human Hair Color: Brown Skin Color: Golden brown Eye Color: Purple Weapons: None Goal: To stop Chaos from being released unto the world Appearances: Super Readers’ Biggest Adventure (minor character), SRBA Gaiden series (mentioned), Chaos’ Revenge (supporting) Helena was Chaos' assistant from the years when he still had a human side, although he was still insane. She knew very well of her Master's goals of destroying and rewriting the world, but before she could stop him, he cast a spell to seal her into a crystal. During the process, Helena used a counter spell to stop it; however, they were both sealed inside, and for a hundred years, she had to endure torture from her former master. She called out to anyone who would listen to her for help and soon reached out to a boy named Jackson Flatts. She told him that when he learned to control his troublesome flaws (arrogance, pride, jealousy and anger) she would call him again to help her get out of the Crystal. Chaos, however, used his powerful magic to summon Lindy Harlaown, Jackson's teacher, to release him from the crystal. In a strange fortune of luck, she also released Helena from the Crystal. Helena attempted to warn Jackson not to fall for Chaos' trap, but her warnings are in vain as Jackson falls for the ploy and Chaos kills her not long afterwards. She will return in Chaos' Revenge. Veggie Tales Star System *Star system: A group of characters that are reused several times in other stories *Since most of the characters listed here are reused in other stories, their bios include their roles in the Very Veggie Romance series, Thingamabob: Origins and Tea For Two. Andrew the Tomato Gender: Male Species: Tomato (obviously) Hair Color: Dark Brown Eye Color: Light Brown Appearances: Best Friends Forever, Best Friends Forever-Redone, Hugs and Kisses (mentioned), Very Veggie Romance (supporting) Andrew is Bob's brother who’s older than him by four years. He lives in Springfield with his parents, Molly and Steve. Andrew is the complete opposite of Bob, in all meaning of the word; he's messier, has an easygoing personality and a mischievous streak. He used to hold a job at a movie theater, but then it went bankrupt and had to shut down, throwing him out of work. Since then, he's taken up several at-home businesses. Andrew likes to tell jokes, and is responsible for Bob's embarrassing nickname, "Hairless". Etymology and Trivia: TaintedAngel26's (previously Atarah Derek) 'Ten Things You Didn't Know about the Veggies' fanfic had Bob mention he has an older brother, which I used for my story, after asking permission of course. Lucy Species: Tomato Hair Color: Blonde (originally brown, but dyes it) Eye Color: Dark blue Appearances: Best Friends Forever, Best Friends Forever-Redone, Family Matters (minor character) Lucy is Bob's daughter, who is seen in the original Best Friends Forever, and its remake. In the original, it is unknown who her mother is, although Larry hints that it's Madame Blueberry; Bob, though, vehemently denies it. In the remake, she is the daughter of Bob and Madame Blueberry and is the oldest out of her, Cecil and Roger. She is a tomato who wears glasses, and has yellow hair. Cecil Species: Blueberry Hair Color: Brown Eye Color: Light brown Appearances: Best Friends Forever-Redone, Family Matters Cecil is Bob and Madame Blueberry's son, mentioned only in Best Friends Forever-Redone. He has his mother's dramatic personality, and is known to be a "love 'em and leave 'em" guy when it comes to the ladies, but all in all he's a nice person. Roger Species: Tomato/Blueberry hybrid Hair Color: Dark brown Eye Color: Blue Appearances: Best Friends Forever-Redone, Family Matters Roger is Bob and Madame Blueberry's youngest son, and unlike the rest of his family is a mix of both of his parents. He's quieter than the serious but outspoken Lucy and the dramatic Cecil, but when he gets excited about a subject, he'll talk your ears off about it. Rick Loraine Species: Tomato Hair Color: Dirty blonde Eye Color: Light blue Appearances: Hugs and Kisses, Very Veggie Romance Rick is a tomato who is the star of the hit 'veggie action' movie Tales from the Fridge. Loved by virtually everyone and seen as the vegetable equivalent of James Bond, Rick is often mistaken as snobbish, but he’s a kind actor who never misses the chances to speak with his fans. He attempts to be mature, but his agents and friends often refer to him as a dork and a kid at heart. Bob and Madame Blueberry are his biggest fans, and it's mentioned that Jimmy and Jerry are fans as well. Eddie Russell Inspiration: Franco from General Hospital Species: Zucchini Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Dark brown Appearances: Hugs and Kisses, Very Veggie Romance, Thingamabob: Origins, Mysterious Gathering Eddie is a zucchini who appears in chapter 8 of Hugs and Kisses, he is a producer from another animation company called Radical Animation. He looks nice on the outside, but his actions are not so squeaky clean, as he goes around threatening the other veggies and appears to have serious anger issues; Mr. Lunt doesn't like him at all, a feeling that's mutual around chapter 9. As revealed in chapter 11, the whole reason Eddie went to Big Idea was so he could eventually run it out of business by sending bad messages to kids by ruining Carrotblanca in order to keep Radical Animation on top. He and his psychopathic boss, Julian, wreak havoc on the studio and try to con Bob out of his position by threatening to harm Madame Blueberry. Thankfully, he and Julian are arrested by the cops. Eddie is dangerous, ruthless and rebellious, and has anger issues, often taking out his rage on other veggies. Very Veggie Romance reveals that he has bipolar disorder, a result of his bad childhood, and as such he has very bad anger management issues. He will return in the upcoming Very Veggie Romance. He also appears in "Tea For Two" as the main antagonist, "Thingamabob: Origins" as Bob's main rival, and in "Mysterious Gathering" as one of twelve villains that end up in the same bar. Trivia: I based Eddie partly off of Franco from General Hospital, only with less psychotic behavior and more anger issues. And since I was getting into soaps at the time, I wanted to create a "soap opera villain" to cause some drama for our Big Idea stars. Julian Maverick Inspiration: Julian Jerome of General Hospital Species: Asparagus Hair: None Eye Color: Cobalt blue Appearances: Hugs and Kisses (hidden/major antagonist), Whispers in the Wind, Very Veggie Romance, Thingamabob: Origins, Mysterious Gathering Julian is Eddie Russell's boss, and the CEO of Radical Animation. Julian is the mastermind behind Eddie Russell being at Big Idea, and he wants to off Big Idea so his animation company can stay in business-and because he doesn't like Big Idea in general. When Eddie is unable to get the position at Big Idea, Julian suggests that they use 'force' to get what they want. He and Eddie show up at Big Idea the next day, reveal the plan to the whole staff, and sets the stage for chaos to reign over Big Idea. Julian also has a particular grudge against Madame Blueberry, since she had ruined his plans from the get go, and attempted to kill her; he was thwarted, thankfully, by Bob jumping in. This doesn't stop him, however, for he kidnaps Madame Blue and attempts to blackmail Bob into giving him the position of head producer or he will kill Madame Blue. Thankfully, Jimmy and Jerry call the cops on him and Eddie, and the two are arrested. Julian appears to be a calm, collected vegetable with a rather dark sense of humor; usually, it takes a lot for him to lose his cool. Underneath this facade hides a ruthless, dangerous psychopath who will do whatever it takes to get what he wants, and he is more than willing to 'get rid' of people who stand in his way. This, coupled with the fact that he is unnervingly emotionless at times, makes him more dangerous than Eddie. Julian's current behavior is the result of a terrible childhood; he was originally a shy and meek boy abused by his family and peers, but the constant abuse he endured made him into a hollow shell of his former self, and he only felt better when he made others feel his pain. After years of acquiring a long list of offenses, he realized that constantly raging on people wasn't going to get him anywhere. He took a psychiatry class in college, and this resulted in the cool-headed dangerous person he is now. In Very Veggie Romance, it is shown that he also has severe abandonment issues, and the mere thought of being left alone drives him into fits of madness, where he relentlessly attacks anything in sight. Cedric Species: Rapscallion Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Green Appearances: Very Veggie Romance, Thingamabob: Origins Cedric is Scallion 1's cousin, who is a renowned leader of a dangerous gang. He was arrested several times, but almost always got out of jail due to his relatives (namely his aunt) bailing him out. Scallion 1 is concerned when he makes a startling appearance at Big Idea, and he has every right to be, for Cedric's appearances almost always mean something's about to go wrong... Etymology and Trivia: He was originally set to appear in Very Veggie Romance, which was supposed to be the first series, but changes in the plot changed that. He is set to appear in Very Veggie Romance as one of the main antagonists. Fiery Heart, Broken Soul 'verse (undergoing major reconstruction) *IMPORTANT NOTE: Majority of the characters in this section--namely Scarlet, Clarissa, Fang, and Scarlet's children--belong to Vulaan Kulaas, who asked me to write a story on her characters. I created a few and the rest are ones we came up with together. Scarlet Age: 23 Species: Penguin-Demon Beast hybrid Feather Color: Deep red (was originally scarlet until repeated experiments darkened her feathers) Eye Color: Dark grey (changes red when she taps into her demon powers or goes Scarlet-Soul) Build: Slim (implied to have a good figure before her six-year imprisonment) Powers: Fire manipulation, super strength (which makes her capable of taking on foes such as Bowser), demonic powers (due to being 20% Demon Beast) Final Smash: Scarlet-Soul Appearances: Fiery Heart, Broken Soul (main character), Shattered Bonds, Ivory Heart (main character) Scarlet, nicknamed "Spitfire" by those close to her, is King Dedede's younger sister and the main character of Fiery Heart, Broken Soul and its sequel story, Shattered Bonds, Ivory Heart. Known as the secret princess of Dreamland, she was brought to the third Super Smash Brothers tournament by her brother, even though Master Hand only invited Dedede and Meta Knight. Despite being angered at this, Master Hand allows her to stay for reasons that only Dedede explains to him, which angers a few of the competitors, Bowser and Ganondorf in particular. During her stay at the Smash Mansion, she creates quite the stir as she quickly makes enemies out of Bowser, Ganondorf and Wario, and terrifies most of the other competitors due to her erratic behavior and her refusal to allow anyone to get close to her, namely Peach, whom Scarlet confuses genuine concern with pity. After several incidents, including a moment where Bowser nearly drowns her in the mansion's pool and she unleashes her Scarlet-Soul Form on Wolf O’Donnell, who she mistakes for someone named Dr. Ver, the competitors unanimously decide to expel her from the tournament. She doesn't fight them on this decision, but refuses to give her reasons to any of the Smashers, and Dedede decides to turn to Master Hand, who agrees to give the Smashers a trip through time to look through her memories. What they see there horrifies and angers the majority of them. The differences between Scarlet and her past self are like night and day. Six years ago, she used to live an adventurous lifestyle as she didn't like her royal duties, leaving Dedede in charge. During her return to Popstar, she visited a Cappy village and became friends with some of the people there, who knew her as the princess of Dreamland. She was supposed to reunite with her brother Dedede after her stay there, but the day she was due to leave, an army of Demon Beasts came upon the town. While several Cappies were killed, most of the town's populace was taken alive, including Scarlet. They were brought to Nightmare's fortress, where Scarlet met the leader behind the attack, Dr. Ver, who announced that he would be performing "tests" on them for an unknown amount of time. In truth, these tests were really experiments of serums that he and his sister Clarissa had created in the hopes that they could create a new army of Demon Beasts. The resulting experiments are so horrific that majority of the populace died from them, and those who did survive slowly went mad. At least three people, including Scarlet herself, were driven to suicide; Scarlet, though, survived her attempt, much to her dismay. Unlike most of the prisoners, Scarlet was unruly and disobedient, often fighting back against the guards and Dr. Ver and his assistants, which led to horrific tortures such as electrocution, water torture and creatures attacking her in dark, enclosed spaces. Even worse, Dr. Ver developed an unhealthy obsession with Scarlet, extending his torture to include raping her multiple times; while part of it was to see if a Demon Beast hybrid can reproduce with another species, he mostly does this to break her further. To this end, he forced her friend Devane into having sex with Scarlet, hoping that it would result in a son. When Scarlet had a daughter instead, he was enraged, but instead allowed her to keep the child for a short time. In what Dedede considers to be his most heinous act, he raped Scarlet two weeks after she'd given birth to her daughter, and got his lab assistant Peabody to do the same, followed by seemingly killing Devane and her daughter while they were trying to escape. The ensuing pain and pent-up rage Scarlet had been holding in explodes, and she soon develops a new demonic form, which promptly went berserk and started destroying the prison, killing guards along the way. She was rescued by Dedede not long afterwards, but by then the damage was done; after six years of constant torture and suffering under experiments, she was no longer the same. For six months afterwards, Dedede had to rebuild her trust in him, as well as hide her from the townspeople, who learned of Scarlet's demonic powers and attempted to kill her, claiming she was a freak of nature. Although she was no longer afraid of him, she couldn't be around men any more due to what had happened to her, and she refused to socialize with people, locking herself away in the castle. When Dedede was invited to the tournament, he decided to bring his sister along in the hopes that interaction with others will heal her. Only time will tell if this plan succeeds, or if it will leave her just as broken as when she came in, perhaps even more so. Due to her boisterous, excitable and hot-tempered nature, she is often called a spitfire (hence why Dedede uses it as his nickname for her), and as such, she doesn't like the traditional role of princess. Although she is hot-tempered, she did have a compassionate side and cared for others. Due to her tortures at the hands of Nightmare's assistants, namely Dr. Ver, Clarissa, and Peabody, a lot of her original personality has faded, but she still keeps it up to keep people from worrying about her. It is obvious that she's struggling to keep it together, but she tends to push away those who aren't Dedede/are worried about her, claiming that she doesn’t need a “pity party” and she gets enough of it back at Popstar. Her experiences at Nightmare have also made her more violent, and often she is quick to defend herself with a strike meant to kill; Dedede slowly teaches her that there's no need to do such a thing, although due to her DNA, it can't be helped. There are times where she suffers horrible flashbacks and believes that she's in one of her past memories of being tortured; often these memories come back in her sleep, resulting in insomnia. Until Dr. Mario accurately diagnoses her with severe PTSD, many believe that she's crazy, and Bowser especially loves making a joke out of it. Sometimes, she can become suicidal, and had to be stopped from killing herself several times after believing that it would be better if she died. She also has a warped idea of love because of Dr. Ver’s abuse, and assumes immediately that every male wants her for what she calls “the usual”. Due to her being experimented on, tortured and raped by them for over six years, she doesn’t trust men, good looking ones and doctors in particular; men who she'd considered handsome were the ones who'd raped her in the past, and Dr. Ver and Clarissa's experiments made her fear and hate doctors. At the beginning of the story, the only exception she makes to this rule are her brother Dedede. Slowly, she extends her list to include the Mario Brothers, Fox, Falco, and Dr. Mario, as she deems them good enough to earn her respect. She also has severe aquaphobia, nyctophobia and acrophobia due to the experiments she was forced to endure. Despite her horrific experiences, she tends to look after others, namely kids, who were among the ones that Dr. Ver kidnapped and experimented on. This is the main reason she gets along with them well, and why she develops a close bond with Lucas, who is one of the few who tries to understand her and looks to her like an older sister. Another thing about Scarlet is that she will defend the few friends she has with her life, and reacts very violently when they are threatened. In battle, Scarlet wields a spare hammer that her brother, Dedede, gave to her after her imprisonment; as such she has several of his moves, including his Jet Hammer. Her powers are fire-based, and sometimes, she can freely manipulate fire, although most of her abilities have time limits. Meta-Knight trained her months before the tournament to build up her strength and to give her an outlet for her powers, so she has impressive agility, which is enhanced by her Demon Beast DNA. Due to being experimented on by Nightmare, she is also half-Demon Beast, although there is an extra serum in her blood to keep her from transforming into a Demon Beast and losing herself. She is a middleweight, but due to her DNA, her strength is greater than the average middleweight and allows her to fare better against heavier fighters. When enraged or overcome by her instincts, she may sometimes enter a state of frenzy, signaled by her eyes changing red; in this state, she's capable of killing someone, and her powers increase dramatically. When truly enraged, she can't tell from friend or foe, and the safest bet is to wait for her to change back on her own. Her Final Smash is called Scarlet-Soul, where she taps into her demonic powers and transforms into a phoenix; her body is covered with white orange fire while her eyes turn red. This form allows more strength, but she can only hold it for a full minute before reverting back to normal; this is because holding it for too long causes her to go berserk, after which it leaves her in pain, as seen in the fight against Wolf O'Donnell and her first transformation. Etmyology and Trivia: The color scarlet is a brilliant red color with a tinge of orange. In the story, it's revealed that Scarlet was named for her feathers, which were originally a red-orange color before repeated experiments and her first Scarlet-Soul transformation darkened them to a blood red. Dr. Ver Age: 43 Species: Nightwolf-Demon Beast hybrid Fur Color: Blueish-gray, with silvery white underfur Eye Color: Gold Build: Muscular Powers: Super strength, venom secretion Occupation: Scientist, torturer Appearances: Fiery Heart, Broken Soul (main antagonist), Shattered Bonds, Ivory Heart (mentioned), Mysterious Gathering (antagonist) Dr. Ver is one of the key antagonists in Fiery Heart, Broken Soul. A mad scientist who loves to toy with people, he was originally a full-blooded Nightwolf who lived outside of a town of Cappies along with his sister, Clarissa and his younger brother, Fang. Before his transformation, he was known as a freak due to being knowledgeable about unsavory subjects, such as various causes of death and different types of executions. He and Clarissa were later kidnapped by one of Nightmare’s head scientists; as punishment for trying to escape and killing a guard, they were forcibly turned into Demon Beasts. Ver at first resented this change until he learned of the advantages that his new body had. Although he and his sister had the choice to leave, they opted to stay at Nightmare instead, taking up positions under the scientist who had turned them into Demon Beast hybrids. The longer they stayed under his training, the more monstrous they became, and later, they murdered him after he’d taught them everything he knew. After proving his loyalty to Nightmare, Ver served as one of Nightmare’s head researchers alongside his sister, Clarissa, and specialized in infusing the blood of Demon Beasts into other creatures. Nightmare was interested in their work, and they were asked to take his experiments a step further by trying them on sentient organisms instead of mere animals. Dubbed “The Conversion Project”, Ver and his sister worked on serums for months before deciding that it was time to strike. Ver soon ordered a group of Demon Beasts to invade a Cappy Village, which happened to be Devane's village. The Demon Beasts captured majority of the citizens, one of them being Scarlet, the princess of Popstar. Once his prisoners had arrived, Dr. Ver announced that he would be performing "tests" on them for an unknown amount of time. In truth, these tests were really experiments of serums that he and his sister Clarissa had created in the hopes that they could create a new army of Demon Beasts. The resulting experiments are so horrific that majority of the populace died from them, and those who did survive either went mad or attempted to commit suicide. Dr. Ver later developed an obsession with Scarlet, who unlike most of his prisoners was unruly and disobedient, often fighting back against him, his assistants and the guards. He took glee in torturing her horrifically, and in her final year as his prisoner took it one step further and started raping her multiple times; he even allows the guards and his assistant to do the same, often taking delight in her horror and screams. While he explains to his sister that this was to see if a Demon Beast hybrid can reproduce with another species, Clarissa knows that he mostly does this to break her further. To this end, he forced her friend Devane into having sex with her after leaving her suffering from hypothermia, claiming that the Cappy had to use “the last resort” to save her. He was hoping that it would result in a son, but when Scarlet had a daughter instead, he was enraged, but instead allowed her to keep the child for a short time, only to come up with a plan to truly break her. In what Dedede considers to be his most heinous act, he raped Scarlet two weeks after she'd given birth to her daughter as punishment for giving him a daughter, and got his lab assistant Peabody to do the same, followed by seemingly killing Devane and her daughter while they were trying to escape. The ensuing pain and pent-up rage Scarlet had been holding in explodes, and she soon develops a new demonic form, which promptly went berserk and started destroying the prison, killing guards along the way. Although Dr. Ver escaped her ensuing rampage, Nightmare quickly comes under attack by the Dreamland Army, as King Dedede finally found Nightmare’s location and leads the charge to rescue his sister. When Dedede learned of what happened to Scarlet and that Dr. Ver was responsible, he takes on Dr. Ver in a fit of rage. Despite being stronger than him, Dr. Ver is killed by Dedede, who proceeds to smash his skull before throwing him off a cliff, and he disappears into the abyss below. Scarlet’s nightmare was over at last…but maybe he's not as dead as they all think... A sadistic, manipulative and cold-hearted mad scientist, Dr. Ver’s very name strikes fear into those who have lived to survive his experiments. He enjoys breaking people physically and mentally beyond repair, believing that they are far easier to mold to his liking. Even before his conversion into a Demon Beast, he was known to have a sick fascination with the causes of death as well as different forms of execution and torture. He is also lecherous and isn't beyond raping women that he takes interest in, and has been known to kill those he becomes bored of. One of the reasons for his obsession with Scarlet was because of her strong will, which she claimed that he couldn't break, as well as her physical attributes; he took special delight in breaking her, but unlike his other victims, he intended to keep Scarlet for himself--Mysterious Gathering even has him referring to her as being “his” princess. While mostly known as being a cool, ineffectual doctor, he possesses an explosive temper that takes only a few insults to bring out, and when he can't think of a solution, he solves it with his claws. He was also sickly obsessed with all forms of torture, and finds it a shame that he wasn't able to use them on his prisoners due to restrictions. Etymology and Trivia: Dr. Ver was named after John Wayne Vercingetorix, also known as Dr. Ver, who was also the main antagonist of Senki Zesshou Symphogear G, a show that I was watching at the time. Several traits of FH, BS's Ver come from Symphogear's Dr. Ver, but as a whole he's more level-headed and has less lapses of sanity than the anime Dr. Ver. Peabody Age: 46 Species: Lion-Demon Beast Hybrid Fur Color: Light, sandy tan Mane Color: Light brown Eye Color: Red Build: Muscular (though not as muscular as Dr. Ver) Occupation: Lab Assistant, Scientist Appearances: Fiery Heart, Broken Soul (secondary antagonist) Peabody is Dr. Ver's lab assistant, who along with his lab partner is responsible for Scarlet's current state. Similar to Dr. Ver, he was originally a member of a tribe of lions who was turned into a Demon Beast, and was a popular celebrity. Unlike Ver, whose sick obsession with torture manifested as a Demon Beast, Peabody didn't have a love for it, although he was perverse and did delight in playing evil villains in his roles. He and his crew were ambushed during a trip to their next location; out of the five who traveled with him, Peabody was the only survivor. Similar to his lab partners, he was forcibly turned into a Demon Beast, although unlike them he was converted upon arriving at Nightmare. He fought the effects of his transformation, and he even killed the professor responsible for converting him. He nearly escaped Nightmare, but his escape was thwarted when he shot down by guards. The attacks he sustained cost him his limbs and left him near death. Although he did not want to work for Nightmare, his only other option was to die, so he reluctantly accepted it. Nightmare restored his body, although only with a fraction of his full strength so that he wouldn't escape again. Weeks after his conversion, he was sent to work with Dr. Ver and Clarissa, who wasted no time in literally whipping him into shape. He eventually found a release for his bitterness towards Nightmare, and his desire for revenge against them, by spiking experiments so that they would kill the prisoners there. He later extends this to raping several of the prisoners, and is hinted to do this to Scarlet several times over her six year stay in Nightmare, although he allows Dr. Ver to do most of the work for him. He escaped Dedede's storming of Nightmare's fortress, and later fled Popstar. He later returns as one of the main antagonists of Shattered Bonds, Ivory Heart. Although many people believe that Peabody is the "lesser evil" between him and Dr. Ver, if one really got to know him, they would see that he's capable of being worse than him; about the only person who can surpass him is Dr. Ver's brother Fang. Before his conversion as a Demon Beast, although he had a perverse sense of humor, he had standards and refused to work for Nightmare in the beginning; also out of the four scientists, he fought off against his conversion the longest, retaining much of his original personality despite slowly losing himself in the process. All of his good traits were stripped away when he took Nightmare's deal to save his life. Even though most of his traits were gone, one thing that remains is his bitterness and hatred for Nightmare for ruining his life. For this reasons, he's not exactly a team player and has been known to casually murder assistants or guards in indiscreet ways, mainly to take out his frustration; although this is a common fact within Nightmare, his usefulness is what keeps him alive. He hates domineering women or women who fight back against him, and to this end, he doesn't get along with Clarissa, who raped him several times when they were working together. Similar to Clarissa, he often targets male prisoners to "release his frustrations" and tends to leave the female prisoners to Dr. Ver, although he's not above doing the same to them if any of them anger him. Unlike Dr. Ver and his siblings, it takes a lot to make him angry, but when he gives into his rage, he goes at anything with his teeth and tears that person apart. Trivia: Originally, Peabody was supposed to be a simple lab assistant, until it was decided that there needed to be more villains. He originally had little to no differences to Dr. Ver, except for species and the fact that he was forcibly turned into a Demon Beast. Later, that changed with the addition of Fang and Clarissa, although Peabody's past would later be revealed in follow-up stories to the FH, BS universe. The Ghost of Huckleberry Hound 'verse (undergoing reconstruction) The Zula Patrol: Dreamscape Crusade (under major reconstruction) Bonnie Age: 24 Species: Zulean (to clarify, she’s the same race as Bula, minus the antennae) Hair Color: Platinum blonde Skin Color: Golden yellow Height: 5’4” Weight: 187 lbs. Build: Curvaceous Occupation: College student (pre-story), temporary Zula Patrol member Powers: None Appearances: The Zula Patrol: Dreamscape Crusade (main character), Dimensional Travelers (one of the main characters) Bonnie is an ally of the Zula Patrol who is one of the main characters of The Zula Patrol: Dreamscape Crusade. A former college student from Zeeter's hometown of Zazu Falls, she was originally planning to become a historian due to her love of Zula’s history, namely the Dark Days of Zula, which covers the events of the first two Dreamscape Crusades, the forming of the Dreamscapers and the rise and fall of the Order of the Zulean Phoenix. Against the advice of most of her peers, she often went on private expeditions along with her friends, Beck, Luli, Iza and Ferdi, to look at various relics from that era. During her final year in college, the group discovered a cave from the Dark Days, but were trapped inside. Beck unwittingly awakened Ignis, one of Paragor’s subordinates, who tried to take Beck to the Dreamscape as he awakened her. Ignis attacked the group as they attempted to escape, and out of the group, only Bonnie survived; the rest of her friends had been burned to death, but Beck was missing. Bonnie dropped out of school to find him, but with no such luck, and nobody believed her story, not even the mayor, who compensated her and her deceased friends’ families. When the Dreamscapers make their appearance on Zula, she decides that now is the time to act. She offers her services to the Zula Patrol after the Legion brutally attacks Bula and the rest of the team at their own headquarters. While she does want to help the Zula Patrol, she still aims to get justice for her friends' deaths. Most of the team, minus Multo, has taken a liking to her, but Bula is somewhat wary of her, as he wants to make sure that her personal goals are not interfering with their mission to stop the Dreamscapers. During her time at the base, the two become attracted to each other, but Bula keeps his feelings private to focus on his mission while Bonnie holds hers back out of her memory for Beck, who she had a crush on. Bonnie is a romantic idealist who loves adventure, and despite being more feminine than Zeeter doesn’t shy away from fighting or getting her hands dirty when needed. She enjoys helping people, and sometimes she severely injures herself because of the lengths she goes to help. She is cheery and tries her best to make people smile, but does a poor job of hiding her true feelings whenever she’s down. Bonnie can be rather selfish, and will sometimes put her own needs before others; this is one of the reasons Bula doesn’t fully trust her, and it takes a while for her to realize that the situation with the Dreamscapers doesn’t revolve around her. She also tends to go with whatever idea that she has at the time, regardless of how good it is or not, and is stubbornly insistent on them. Despite being hotheaded, impulsive, stubborn rebellious and selfish, there is no denying that she is a good person. Because of her easygoing nature, she gets along well with kids and is closest to Wizzy and Wigg out of the team. The Return of the Phantom Empire (under major reconstruction) Donkirk Age: 110 Inspiration: Dr. Balcus from Guyver, Dornkirk from The Vision of Escaflowne (namesake) Species: Human Hair: White Eye Color: Milky white (originally pale blue) Occupation: Scientist Build: Feeble Powers: Mind manipulation, lightning manipulation, telekinesis Weapons: Staff Goal: To rule the galaxy once more and end the Galactic Federation Appearances: The Return of the Phantom Empire (main antagonist), Mysterious Gathering (secondary antagonist) Donkirk is a wizened wizard who is the main antagonist in The Return of the Phantom Empire. A fearsome enemy who caused the galaxy unbelievable suffering for over ten years, his faction, the Phantom Empire, was finally fragmented and destroyed by a confederacy, which was later reformed into the Galactic Federation. Donkirk and his subordinates were banished into another dimension, but due to the energy that he accumulated through his various hidden outposts on various planets, he managed to return, amass a fleet, and make his way across the galaxy, ready for take revenge. He captures one of the vessels for the Galactic Federation, known as the Vitalization, and takes its crew (which consists of Top Cat and his gang) hostage, along with the Goof-Ups’ captain, Snerdly. After the Galaxy Goof-Ups accidentally blow up the Vitalization, Donkirk retreats to his personal base, where he horrifically tortures the members of the Galactic Guardians, Top Cat in particular. He then makes a declaration of war against the Federation, which will soon send the whole galaxy teetering into chaos. However, the chaos that is going on in the war is nothing compared to what is going on in the Phantom Empire's workings, as something about Donkirk isn't sitting right with several of his subordinates. A cold, soulless human being, Donkirk's mere name terrifies the people in the Galactic Federation, and for good reason. While appearing dangerously calm on the outside, Donkirk's calm exterior is a front to the dangerous, scheming mind underneath. He often tortures his subjects to test them for new sources of energy, and some of his experiments have been known to scar people for life. His favorite method of torture involves breaking his subjects by subjecting their worst fears; this is a method he inflicts on Top Cat and several of his crew members. Despite being cool, his temper is something to be feared, especially when he becomes very angry. His only saving grace, if it can be called as such, is his fatherly attitude towards his subordinates, Yutaka and Rokusaburo, and he mentions that his care for troubled human beings is the only good part of him that remains. Yutaka later mentions that he used to be a fatherly person, caring for troubled people and taking them in. It is unknown what happened in the past to cause the change, but it seems to have to do with a figure from all of their pasts... Etmyology and Trivia: Donkirk's name is derived from the character Emperor Dornkirk from the anime The Vision of Escaflowne, who was also an emperor who caused multiple atrocities in an attempt to control destiny. His character was also taken from my old Iron Chef Abridged character, Donkirk, who only shares his appearance and status as a magic user; however, Iron Chef Abridged Donkirk is far more powerful and evil than The Return of the Phantom Empire Donkirk. Rokusaburo Age: 83 Inspiration: Material-L/Levi the Slasher from Nanoha A's Portable (personality), Iron Chef Rokusaburo Michiba (namesake only) Species: Human Hair: Charcoal gray Eye Color: Dark blue Skin Color: Tan Build: Slightly muscular Occupation: Second-in-Command, Military Commander Powers: Ice/water manipulation Weapons: Silver Claw (inspired by Snow White from Nanoha INNOCENT) Appearances: The Return of the Phantom Empire, Mysterious Gathering Rokusaburo, nicknamed “Roku” by Yutaka and Donkirk, is Donkirk’s second in command and the leader of the military. He is responsible for the tragic deaths of many of the Galactic Federation’s elite, including Admiral David Snerdly, Captain Snerdly’s father. Throughout the story, he carries a grudge against Snerdly for beating him up in the second chapter, but later events, such as the failed takeover of Cerenia and the war against Raxus 4, keeps him from fully carrying out his grudge as he, like his friend Yutaka, begins to suspect that something is wrong with Donkirk, and not just mentally... Rokusaburo is both the most easygoing and the most dangerous of the three; Donkirk even mentions that he's like a child sometimes, but he has to keep tabs on him since he likes to fight and kill at random. Arguably the most psychotic of the three, he treats murder like a game and is quite proud of his killing skills, as well as the fact that very few have beaten him in an actual fight; the fact that Snerdly manages to best him provided a blow to his pride. Over the course of the story, he starts to show a softer, calmer side to himself, as well as concern when he worries about Donkirk’s state of mind as well as Yutaka’s, especially after he inadvertently caused him to have a breakdown. He is also very loyal to Donkirk, though not to the level that Yutaka is. Despite being known to kill and fight at any chance he gets, Roku is absolutely horrified at the very idea of experiments, especially ones used for torture, due to his past; he never mentions this to Donkirk, however, out of fear of being punished. Etmyology and Trivia: Rokusaburo's namesake is Iron Chef Rokusaburo Michiba, who I've wrote about in some Iron Chef stories such as Iron Chef Abridged. In Iron Chef Abridged, there is an evil clone of Michiba named Rokusaburo who shares his appearance and powers, except that he is playful, psychotic and quicker to anger than the regular Michiba. He also had lightning manipulation in addition to ice/water manipulation. Yutaka Age: 75 Inspiration: Material-S/Stern the Destructor from Nanoha A's Portable (personality), Iron Chef Yutaka Ishinabe (namesake and appearance only) Species: Human Hair Color: Black mixed with gray (described in story as salt and pepper) Eye Color: Green Build: Muscular Occupation: Special Operations Officer and Head of Negotiations Powers: Lightning manipulation Weapons: Raijin (Lightning Blade) Appearances: The Return of the Phantom Empire, Mysterious Gathering Yutaka ( 優) is a mage from another planet who is Donkirk’s third-in-command, the Head of Negotiations and the group's chief Special Operations Officer. He hardly gets involved in fights, often allowing Rokusaburo to do the work, although he takes great pride in his prowess as a mage. During most of the story, he keeps his opinions to himself, although his breakdown over his old master Genzo, followed by his startling memories during the Raxus 4 takeover, affects him to where he can't help but speak up—as well as suspect that something about this war (as well as with his leader) is wrong. In contrast to Rokusaburo, Yutaka is the coldest, never showing mercy whenever he kills. His icy demeanor towards his opponents extends towards his personal life; he is very formal and takes everything seriously. He does have a softer, vulnerable side, however, one that he never allows anybody to see due to believing that he buried it a long time ago. In-universe, both Rokusaburo and Donkirk mention that his icy façade is really a front to hide his tormented soul, and he is prone to having mental breakdowns where he believes himself to be in one of his past memories; Donkirk usually has to treat him for these. He is unfailingly loyal to Donkirk, and despite his icy demeanor, he gets along well with Rokusaburo, who he nicknamed “Roku” after they eventually became better friends. Similar to Rokusaburo, he is horrified at the idea of experiments, due to the traumatic past he suffered; this is shown only in Mysterious Gathering, as both he and Roku don't dare bring up this fear to Donkirk. Etmyology and Trivia: He was named originally after Iron Chef Yutaka Ishinabe, who happens to be my least favorite Iron Chef (nothing wrong with him personally, it's just that he barely showed up ). In my old story, Iron Chef Abridged, Yutaka was the evil soulless clone of the regular Ishinabe, and was far more powerful than him. The name "Yutaka" has many different meanings depending on the kanji; Yutaka's name in this story is written with the following kanji, 優, which means "tenderness", a reference to this Yutaka's original, tender personality (which is seen in spades). One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books.I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd.' I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes. My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, 'Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives.' He looked at me and said, 'Hey thanks!' There was a big smile on his face.It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends. He said yes.We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him. Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again.I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!' He just laughed and handed me half the books. Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends.. When we were seniors we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship. Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation.I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak. Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous! Today was one of those days.I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!' He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. 'Thanks,' he said. As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began, 'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach... but mostly your friends... I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story.' I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile. 'Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable.' I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize it's depth. Never underestimate the power of your actions. 'Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.' This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been killed in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Footprints In the Sand: One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?” The Lord smiled and replied, “The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand, is when I carried you.” A girl her boyfriend were speeding over 150kmp/h on a motorcycle Girl: Slow down, I'm scared! Guy: No, this is fun. Girl: No, it's not. Please, I'm scared. Guy: Then tell me you love me. Girl: I love you, now slow down! Guy: Now give me a big hug. She gives him a big hug Guy: Can you take off my helmet and put it on yourself, it's bothering me. In the newspaper the next day, a motorcycle had crashed into a building because of break failure. Two people were on it and only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized his break wasn't working but he didn't want the girl to know. Instead he had her hug him and tell him one last time that she loved him. Then he had her put on his helmet so that she would live even if he died. The boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old. The Cashier said, 'I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll.' Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ''Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?'' The old lady replied: ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.'' Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly. The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. 'It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.' I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. 'No, Santa Claus can't bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.' His eyes were so sad while saying this. 'My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.'' My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: 'I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.' Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me 'I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won't forget me.' 'I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.' Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. 'Suppose we check 'OK' he said, 'I hope I do have enough.' I added some of my money to his with out him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said: 'Thank you God for giving me enough money!' Then he looked at me and added, 'I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give It to my sister. He heard me!'' 'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.'' 'My mommy loves white roses.' A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away. I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him. COMMON SENSE Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing. 0o0o0o0o0o0o0 -Month One- Mommy. I am only 8 inches long, but I have all my organs. I love the sound of your voice. Every time I hear it I wave my arms and legs. The sound of your heart beat is my lullaby. -Month Two- Mommy. Today I learned how to suck my thumb. If you could see me you could definitly see I'm a baby. I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though. It is so nice and warm here. -Month Three- You know what Mommy? I'm a boy!! I hope that makes you happy. I always want you to be happy. I don't like it when you cry. You sound so sad. It makes me sad too...and I cry, even though you can't hear me. -Month Four- Mommy. My hair is starting to grow. It is very short and fine, but I will have a lot of it. I spend a lot of my time exercising. I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes, and stretch my arms amd legs. I am becoming quite good at it, too. -Month Five- You went to the doctor today...Mommy, he lied to you. He said I'm not a baby. I am a baby Mommy, your baby. I think, and I feel...Mommy, what's abortion? -Month Six- I can hear the doctor again. I don't like him. He seems cold and heartless. Something is intruding my home. The doctor called it a needle. Mommy what is it? It burns!! Please make him stop! I can't get away from it! Mommy, help me!! -Month Seven- Mommy. I am okay. I am in Jesus's arms. He is holding me. He told me about abortion. Why didn't you want me, Mommy? What did I do wrong? Post on your site...tell the story that they can't tell, and that the cold-hearted simply do not care to hear... I have a one-time gift. A beautiful gift that many people are ridiculed for in this day and age. A precious gift that many people throw away. It's called "virginity ", and I plan to not waste it on someone who's just gonna dump me later. I choose to be faithful to my future husband, the man who will love me for the rest of my life, and to wait for the wedding day!! If you have chosen to save your one-time gift and are PROUD of your purity, paste this into your profile and add your name to the list:Dearheart, floppyearsthebunny, Lady Thigocia, iheartgod175 Without GOD, our week would be: Sinday, Mournday, Tearsday, Wasteday, Thirstday, Fightday, Shatterday. 98 OF TEENS WON'T STAND UP FOR GOD... REPOST THIS IF YOU'RE ONE OF THE 2 WHO WILL. When unsure, take a risk. You miss out on learning if you don't. The Faithful die young, but those who aren't live a long life mocked at as a coward. Mistakes are just lessons that give you a wound in your heart or on your body as a reminder, and involve getting some mud on one's paws, but you soon know something you didn't before. I find when I'm in trouble, I ask my father, the lion for help. He's as cunning as I am, but twice as brave and strong, and other than him, I don't rely on anyone. Make a wish, it's just a prayer that's directed to the wrong person and not God: Nobody, but... Overtake the dragon all by yourself, and you get chewed up and spat out. But my dad's a match for him! Me? I'm just a wretched little monster of a three tailed fox, how can a perfect creature like that lion like me? I'm thinking "What the?..." I know very well the price of sin is death...I had to pay for it. But my good ol' dad bailed me out...and he gave up all he had so he could personally pay that price, then, I was thinin' "He's gonna die?! Oh Lord!" Lean, to the right, lean to the left. Didn't matter which way, I would fall if it weren't for the big leoin paws that always catch me, always there I tell you, my my my... On top of a throne of gold, he used to sit and rule peacfully over us, thoough we could drive him mad enough to pull out his hair...With our constent killing thieving and saying his name in vain. Good God, we are awful! Jesus was there for me, is there for me, and will be there for me forever. With him I am almighty!! Now, read the first word in the first sentence all the way down. After that read the last word in the last sentence all the way down. All three of these mesages are true, if you don't think so, ignore this. I'm not one to force my life on others... I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit Born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, died, and was buried; He decended into the dead. On the third day He rose again, He ascended into heaven, Is seated at the right hand of the Father. And will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, The holy universal Church, The communion of saints, The forgiveness of sins, The resurrection of the body, And the life everlasting. Amen. The SPARROW at STARBUCKS It was chilly in Manhattan but warm inside the Starbucks shop on 51st For a musician, it's the most lucrative Starbucks location in the world, After the tune was over, she approached me. "I apologize for singing alongon that song. Did it bother you?" she asked. "No," I replied. "We love it To my delight, she accepted my invitation.. "You choose," I said. "What are "Well.. ... do you know any hymns?" Hymns? This woman didn't know who she was dealing with. I cut my teeth on "Oh, I don't know. There are so many good ones. You pick one." "Okay," I replied. "How about 'His Eye is on the Sparrow'?" My new friend was silent, her eyes averted.. Then she fixed her eyes on Why should I be discouraged? Why should the shadows come? The audience of coffee drinkers was transfixed. Even the gurgling noises of I sing because I'm happy; I sing because I'm free. For His eye is on the When the last note was sung, the applause crescendoed to a deafening roar I embraced my new friend. "You, my dear, have made my whole year! That was "Well, it's funny that you picked that particular hymn," she said.. "Why is that?" "Well . .." she hesitated again, "that was my daughter's favorite song." "Really!" I exclaimed. "Yes," she said, and then grabbed my hands. By this time, the applause had I said the first thing that found its way through my stunned silence. "Are She smiled through tear-filled eyes and squeezed my hands. "I'm gonna be Was it just a coincidence that we happened to be singing in that particular God has been arranging encounters in human history since the beginning of The next time you feel like GOD can't use YOU, just remember... Noah was a drunk Joseph was abused Moses had a stuttering problem No more excuses now!! God can use you to your full potential. Besides you aren't the message, you are just the messenger. God bless you by passing this on to someone else, if you'd like. If you are a Christian, copy and paste ALL of this into your profile,If you aren't a Christian, copy and paste this into your profile anyways, We are good people! And I won't bug you about anything! I'm here to write stories, not tell you you need to live the way I do. In Closure ...You really read all that? Wow. Didn't know you wanted to know everything about me. Anyway, if you have any suggestions for my stories and/or would like to give me some writing tips, by all means PM me or leave something in your reviews. Also, if you want to team up with me on a story of yours or borrow a few of my OCs, just leave me a message and I'll let you borrow them. However, I must let you all know that the timeline for the requests will depend on both my schedule and my knowledge of the fandom you want me to write for; if I know very little about it, I'll do my research about thoroughly before even attempting to write it. And regarding my OCs, I'm cool with you using them so long as you ask me for permission and don't make them look bad. Hope you enjoyed the tour, and enjoy my stories! This is your host signing off!
