First LotF story. Be nice? Set a couple of years after the actual story line. Ralph has survived the hunt, but doesn't know how or why. He's suffered some memory loss as well. The older Ralph walks the border between pure savagery and civilization. What happens if salvation lies with the boy who ordered his death? Terrible summery.

Liesel has just lost everybody, including her beloved Rudy. He has entered the grave before Liesel could admit her love. Now heartbroken, Liesel longs for him back. The day of Rudy's funeral, Death offers Liesel something. He says he will return Rudy back alive to Liesel but at a great cost. A cost she will only know when it appears right in front of her.

He ran to the shore, tripping over the salty blue waves as the sun pierced the horizon. And maybe he did throw up, right there in the water, but he didn't care if anyone knew, and when he'd heard the howls of the others, the slicing of flesh, he ducked under water for long intervals, sometimes breaching the surface already gasping for breath before diving under again.

Scipio has been missing for three years, and suddenly he shows up at Ida's house late one night as a young boy again. Caterina is the first to confront him. Tensions slowly begin to shift when Scipio comes back to everyone he's left behind. His final mask is peeling away for good. Scipio/Hornet. Follows the book more so than the film.

Jack was once Ralph's friend, but that changed completely after one conversation that tipped things and changed Jack's life. At the beginning of the book, it is said that Jack and Ralph look at each other with 'shy liking', but by the end, Jack is after Ralph's blood and life; why? Well, it all has to do with one boy who calls himself Jack's friend, and Jack's longing to be chief.

She was dramatic. He was dynamic. She was precise. He was impulsive. He was James, and she was Lily, and one day they shared a kiss, but before that they shared many arguments, for he was cocky, and she was sweet, and matters of the heart require time.

"You do realize," Anita started mater-of-factly, "That we two are the only girls here?" The unfortunate tale of a quarrelsome half-blind girl and her uptight companion stuck on an island primarily made up of boys.

What if there was no boat to take the boys off of the island? What would become of Ralph, Jack, and other boys? My interpretation of what events would take place if both of those things applied. The story is way better than my summary makes it out to be. Also this is my first story on this site, so please read and review. WARNING: major and minor character deaths!

Healing. For Bill, it means trying to put Ralph back together. For Maurice, it's trying to make the newly escaped-from-insane-asylum Roger into a type of person that can function in society. For Jack, it's just trying to hold himself together. All of this is working well, until a series of tragedies occur that gets Roger loose and ready to do anything he can to get what he wants.

"Every offer to play was just turned down, and while that made have deterred the average third grader, it did no such thing to Jack Merridew. If anything, it only made him try harder." Jack and Roger friendship and adorableness, with some Robert abuse.

"He wished he could dye his hair red… then they would have to let him go, because he would look like Jack Merridew and Jack Merridew could do no wrong." Roger after the island.

He thinks of her hiding somewhere with an empire of books, cackling and reading and rereading and never getting caught for her thefts, and his smile is completely out of place at the funeral. AU Rudy lives, Liesel does not.

Liesel's life after the bomb destroys much of her life. Very short. Written in the style of the Book Thief. Slight A/U. Anger and despair included.

Somtimes it's the little things that make the biggest difference. Series of drabbles inspried by songs shuffled through my MP3 player. All genres and characters.

Jack/Ralph, Ralph/OC. Years after the island, Ralph is sent to the choristers' boarding school. Secrets unfold as a pattern emerges between the hunters and prey. If an object of desire cannot be caught or conquered, then it is oftentimes destroyed.

Maurice was not looking forward to going to such a small school. But, hey, that creepy kid who sprinkles dead flies around his desk seems pretty cool. Rogice. Modern day AU.

Epilogue sequel to the 1990 LOTF-film prologue fanfiction "Davidson". Jack, Ralph and the others have returned to the Davidson Military School. Jack is determined to keep the secret hidden, and most of the others are allied with him out of guilt. But Ralph knows what happened on the island can't stay there forever.

How did Jack Merridew end up at military school? The twins, Sam and Eric, mention Jack was caught doing 80 mph on the highway in a stolen car. But that's not the whole story. NOTE: Based off the 1990 film adaptation of the book. In the 1990 film, Jack, Ralph, and all the others are cadets at an unnamed military school, but they wear the uniforms of Valley Forge Military Academy.

Part I of in-progress trilogy [6th year]: The thing about being Lily Evans and James Potter was that you couldn't do anything without everybody else saying something about it.

After being rescued from the island, it's obvious that the boys have each changed in their own way, but what exactly happened on the island? Their siblings yearn to find out, but the closer they are to a conclusion, the boys are developing in their own way as they try to adjust from a savage world into a civilized community.
