Hello, my darlings!

I discovered the wild world of fan fiction a long time ago. As much as I love writing it, though, I won't be publishing it in here. English is not my first language (quite possibly not even the second, to be honest), and writing stories with anything but my native language would be doing a terrible injustice to literature in general.

Still, I want to be able to comment on the works that you brilliant people have written. I also need to keep it organized (I've lost many, many great fics never to find them again). I’m making a collection of the best and most interesting fan fictions I’ve found here on fanfiction.net. If any of you who might accidentally find their way to this profile happens to like my list of fan fiction favourites, then all for the better.

A little bit about myself:

I am a University student with an (almost) unhealthy infatuation in literature, films, certain TV shows, music etc.

My great loves in literature (include but are not limited to): “To Kill A Mockingbird” by Harper Lee, “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Brontë, Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, basically anything by Shakespeare but especially “Macbeth” and "Henry V", "Orlando" by Virginia Woolf, "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens, Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling and many, many others.

I listen to anything from Muse, My Chemical Romance, Led Zeppelin and Motörhead to Chet Baker, Chopin and David Bowie. (I also think that I’ve created some sort of a kink for slow, swinging violin music. Fancy that..)

TV favourites include Granada TV’s Sherlock Holmes, BBC Sherlock, NCIS, Hannibal, The Mentalist, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, a Russian telenovela called Bednaya Nastya and what not.

My infinite list of “Good Films I’ve Seen” begins with Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, “Brokeback Mountain”, “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas”, “The Wind That Shakes the Barley”, “The Brothers Bloom”, “Inception”, “Edward Scissorhands”, “Breakfast on Pluto”, “Fight Club” and “Four Lions”, and goes on and on and on..

My great armada of ships consists of: John/Sherlock, Moriarty/Moran, Irene/Molly (BBC Sherlock), Bane/John Blake (The Dark Knight Rises), Arthur/Eames (Inception), Khal Drogo/Daenerys, Daenerys/Ser Jorah (Game of Thrones), Thor/Loki (Marvel Universe), Rumpelstiltskin/Belle (Once Upon A Time), Darcy/Wickham/Bingley (Pride and Prejudice), Capt. Jack Harkness/anyone and everything (Doctor Who/Torchwood)
