Author has written 1 story for Fairy Tales.

Heya!!! I used to have another account on here (schadenfreude62), but I forgot the password to it and got a new email, so... yeah. But here I am again! Hopefully, my work will be of a higher quality under this username, and I'll actually finish what I start. ^^

The stuff I write will be mostly one-shots, but I will most likely have an actual fanfiction at some point, in which case I will try to update once a week or twice a week, depending on how long each chapter is. When I get more stuff up, I'll make sure to post an update schedule both in the ANs of the individual works and on here.

Oh, and just out of curiousity, if you've done or will be doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) PM me your username for the site so that we can be "writing buddies." Mine is tigress5674. I did NaNo for the first time last year and won so I'm definitely doing it again this year, and I want some writing buddies who will actually write and therefore make me keep writing if I start lagging (or if you just start writing a ridiculous amount, I'll be motivated to try to catch up). None of my friends got farther than 2,000 words, and two actually lied about their word counts for quite some time, so I really would like some real writing buddies. ^^ If you don't know what NaNo is, the website is NaNoWriMo.org.

REQUESTS!

I love requests. They force me to write without procrastination, and often spawn many plot bunnies for original work as well as additional fanfictions. Please request anything you like!

Fanfictions I'll be Willing to Write: I'm really into fairy tale retellings right now, so if there's any particular tale you want me to do a retelling of just PM me and I'll start it right away! It absolutely does not matter what the tale is, I will find a way to read it and do a retelling of it. (I most likely have it as I own several sizable collections of fairy tales.)

I will also do fanfictions of any other books upon request (unless it's Twilight or I have not read it, and won't be able to read it for some time), particularly anything on my favorite books list. I often procrastinate far too much unless I have a pending request so please don't hesitate to ask for something, even if it's not on my list. Chances are I have read it, own it, or I'm willing to buy it in order to write a fanfiction on it (I'm really looking for something to read right now).

Shows, I won't purposely track down to do as I don't really watch TV much. If it's on my favorites list, I'll probably do it. However, sometimes I feel a bit weird writing about shows, even if it's in script form. (Funny opinion of mine; I'm just fine with reading stuff others wrote, but I do feel weird actually writing it.) I flat out refuse to write anything about Doctor Who even though it's my favorite show for two reasons. 1: I don't write very good science fiction other than post-apocolypse stuff. And 2: the show is so completely brilliant that anything I write would just make a mockery of it. (Yes, I really do like Doctor Who that much.)

As a warning, I will do Lord of the Rings work upon request, but (and that's a really big "but" there people) it will take an extraordinary long time for me to get something done. I own all three books plus The Hobbit, and have tried reading both The Hobbit and the first book, but I have trouble getting into both and consequently have not finished either. I promise I will try my best to read them quickly if there's a request, but I can't guarantee any faster than two weeks per book.

Why I Won't Write Twilight Fanfics: I imagine many Twilight fans are crying out in protest right now, and I understand that. I am not a fan of Twilight, though I won't go so far as to say I hate it. The writing is horrible, and while I do think that Twilight started out as a good idea, Stephanie Meyer, in my opinion, took the story in the wrong direction. I also don't like that little character development took place in the series and many of the characters where Mary Sues/Gary Stus. Also, there are far too many cliches in the book. I just really don't like it, and I don't care enough about to hate it (because, as we all know, it takes energy and passion to truly hate something, and Twilight just isn't even worth that in my opinion). I will consider doing AU (alternate universe) fics and/or parodies, but I'm not making any guarantees.

Requirements: For fairy tales, a simple "I want you to write a retelling of blah blah blah" will suffice. Unless otherwise specified, it will most likely be a dark retelling, but I will definitely do happy retellings as well.

For books, please specify which character(s) you would like the story to revolve around at the least. I would also like some specification as to what you would like the story to be about. I don't mean specific plot, just stuff like "they go to such and such a place" or "such and such happens at school." Just know that if you just say "Write a fanfic for [insert book here," I may come up with something you may not like. For example, if you suggest Sisters Grimm, I may write something about Elvis (the dog). ^^ With that in mind, I will still do such requests.

Closing Remarks: I apologize for the long winded-ness, but I wanted to be specific. ^^ Seriously though, I love requests and I'll make sure I have something written withing a week and a half if I've read the book, and a month if I haven't (that's to account for obtaining the book, reading it, and then writing the fanfic). I'm off to camp for two weeks between Saturday the 26th and won't be back till Saturday July 10th, so if I get a request during that period I'll try to respond using the email on my phone (I won't have my computer), but it's a bit of a hastle to reply using my phone and I will be busy with camp stuff during which the counselors and program assistants discourage phone usage. At the very least, though, I will have read the request and, as my camp is one focused on reading and located on a college campus (with a bookstore!) tried to have gotten the book. When I get back, I'll start immediately and will hopefully have any requests finished by the end of the month of July. If anyone has read this far, let me say thank you for trudging through all my rambling and here's to hoping you send me a request!

“You get ideas from daydreaming. You get ideas from being bored. You get ideas all the time. The only difference between writers and other people is we notice when we're doing it.” ~Neil Gaiman
