![]() "Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky suspicion... love actually is all around. " - Hugh Grant in 'Love Actually' Hello! I'm known on most sites as Thefoxwife, so I suppose I'll be called that here. I'm an author in the making, so I'm probably going to start off writing fanfiction. I prefer to go off canon, normally starting off at whatever part of a series that will make my fanfic make sense, so be prepared for some fics starting off at the beginning or middle of a series. Especially long series, like Inuyasha, where it makes more sense to jump off from somewhere in them middle. Anyways, I'm going to try creating an OC. I know, OC's suck. They're normally Mary-Sue's, or little girls that act like their life is a pile of shit because they have daddy issues. I'm going to try not to do that. I'm also not going to randomly pair up my OC with most main characters with a very obvious love interest. NOTE: I will NEVER pair up my OC with Allen(he's better off with Lenalee) or Inuyasha (he and Kagome are absolutely perfect). So for any Inukag fans, you never have to worry about that. Sesshomaru and Kouga fans... be on alert for when I start an Inuyasha fanfiction. A couple of my (strange) ultimate pairings (and the reasons why) are: Inuyasha and Kagome- They just have that little spark. Their romance proves that no two people are really the same, and that sometimes you have to make difficult decisions, but in the end, you've gotta trust your heart. Sanosuke and Kaoru- I know a helluva lot of people are going 'What?'. Understood. It's just, they seem to have this little thing between them. It's cute and flirty, and yet at the same time electric and simmering. I just can't picture Sano and Megumi together because they seem like they'd constantly be having serious spats (and their personalities would clash badly), and Kenshin and Kaoru... It just seems that, in the end, Kenshin would choose the rest of the world over Kaoru and their child, which is something that I, as a romancaholic, cannot allow. Plus, they dance around each other too much. Allen and Lenalee- I'm sorry Yaoi fans, I just love this pairing. They're just so perfect for each other. They seem so sweet and innocent on the exterior, but the more you get to know Lenalee, the more violent she become. And Allen... well, he's just Allen, he's still evolving. I'm just saying, these two balance each other out, and Allen needs someone who sees him as someone beyond an exorcist. His loneliness and her aching heart just fit together so well. Renji and Rukia- Yup, I love them together. It's because you almost never see the girl or guy choose their childhood friend, and these two just have a chemistry and Ichigo and her can't seems to create together. Rangiku and Gin- Once again, I love these two. It's just, he's so sly and she's, well, she's like an open book to the entire world. They're just adorable together. Yukio and Shiemi- The original Ao no Exorcist pairing, in my belief. It's so obvious from the first episode that she has a major thing for him, and to be honest, Rin is nothing like Yukio when she first meets him. Yes, he's very good at convincing her to stay and stuff, but YUKIO! He friggin loves her, I swear! I'll stand by this couple until they both turn into dust. Shikamaru and Ino-I just saw something between them. Yusuke and Keiko- I'm sorry, but Keiko ain't no bitch. I love her. She's strong and independant, and she obviously loves her Yus-chan. I mean, she waited for him for a year, and a helluva lot longer too. Plus, it's the childhood friend thing too. They've been together forever! I just can't see Yusuke with Botan, or anyone other than Keiko. I mean, it's obvious he loves her, and she loves him. Pairing I will probably never support: Inuyasha and Kikyo- I'm sorry, she's dead. Move on. Sesshomaru and Rin- Excuse me, but he's like her papa and she's his daughter. I don't want to believe, for a second, that he would want to 'mate' Rin. Maybe keep her alive and by his side as a loving daughter, but not as a 'mate'. Kurama and Botan- "But she said she loved him!" Bull SHIT. She would have said that if it had been Kuwabara or Hiei, or (god knows he wouldn't have risked it) Koenma Kenshin and Kaoru- No. Just, No. They both dance around each other too much. Plus, I don't think she can bring out the real Kenshin. All humans, Kenshin or not, are selfish and territorial. Kenshin seems like he would be a tad possessive and, with the possible amount of time as a near eunuch, pervy behind the scenes. I just don't think she can pull that out of him. It's just... the guy seems like after suppressing it for so long he'd be a passionate person, and that's just not the vibe I get with those two. Rin and Shiemi- I just love Yukio and her too much to let Rin take her. Sorry dude, but your little bro's got you beat. |
