Gon is adventuring though a desolate city while searching for his father when everything takes a turn for the worse. He finds someone hidden within the city. There is blood and a suicide attempt. Rated T for violence and obvious reasons. AU where Nen doesn't exist. A Killugon ship (fluff/not very fluffy)

Gon was always interested in this character because, he estimated, they were the same age, and the boy acted really well. The role was fitting for his appearance too – angelic face with big blue eyes and white hair. Could the guy he saw in the library be the same person as this child actor?

AU. When they'd taken the job, it had seemed simple enough: sneak, steal, deliver. Killua hadn't expected for things to escalate so quickly, much less for them to get so personal. He and Gon, they were criminals—they weren't fit for playing heroes. And falling in love? That had never been a part of the equation. Their days are a scatter of stolen clothes and chasing games, dreams and wishes, memories and possibilities, wolves and bears and sparrows and hawks, once and future picnics, monsters real and imaginary, fights and laughter, broken edges and healing wounds. Sometimes at night they say true things. [Or: fluff and randomness. Still not a "Nightfall" story.]

Gon wanted to stay at Killua's place to have vacation, but Killua tells him that it's dangerous to stay in his home because his family might kill him. Even if Killua tells him those things, he still wanted to go. It was unexpected that the Zoldyck family are acting nice to Gon instead of killing him because he's Killua's boyfriend. After finishing med-school, Leorio definitely needs a vacation and decides to invite his three best friends to a tropical island. When even the illusive Kurapika agrees to come along, Leorio aims to strengthen his friendship with the evasive Kurta. At the same time, Killua hopes against hope that, with the romantic setting, Gon will finally see him as more than just a friend.

Killua was the heir to the Zoldyck conglomerate, but when he is disowned by his family and dropped off at an orphanage he ends up getting taken in by two people who completely turn around his way of thinking, and his faith in people.
