Author has written 2 stories for Star Fox. Hi, after years of inactivity, I've dusted off this old account and gave it a new name and fresh coat of paint. I'll probably put more in when I've not had such a crappy day. Author Info: - Likes to RP, although tends to prefer RPs that don't have much of a plot, or are slice-of-lives, or even talking to an RP character as though they're real - Tends to get upset over things that wouldn't faze others. Lore info: Cornerian Freelancers - A squad made up of the best of the best, the Cornerian Freelancers tend to be their own one-man units. They take tasks from mining or clearing trade routes, to racing, to bounty hunting. Freelancers work their own schedules, and are usually paid after a mission completion, except on the rare occasions where they actually have to answer to the Army, in which case the current General pays them the amount that would've been paid had they managed to complete the mission. Freelancers can join factions that are allies with the CDF, on the condition that, when not needed by either the CDF or the faction, the Freelancer is to do things his/her own way. (For an accurate depiction of Freelancers, think something like Evochron Mercenary, or the X-Universe games, or similar space sims) Krazoa Protection - Ever wonder how James manages to come back from the dead to rescue Fox after Andross attempts to take him down with the base in 64? Or how Peppy manages to survive crashing into the Aparoid Homeworld? It's because of the Krazoa's Protection, a blessing bestowed upon the McCloud family and their friends, in which the Krazoa do their best to keep the blessed from dying a premature death. However, Andross managed to put a wrench in their attempts multiple times, the first time being when Pigma betrayed James and Peppy, and the second time being when Andross destroyed Cerinia. The first time, the Krazoa did not foresee Pigma's betrayal, a mistake they vowed not to make again, and the second time, they could not hold back Andross before he arrived at the planet. However, they have sent James on more than one occasion to protect his sons, whether it be leading Fox out of the exploding Venom base, or making Drexel relive the memory of his last time with James to evacuate him from Cerinia. Notes: - It is NOT my goal to make my fan-characters Mary Sues/Gary Stus. I do not want the whole world to revolve around them. I want them to feel like they could easily fit into the official series, with believable explanations why they would not normally be mentioned within the official works. If an OC in my story veers towards the dreaded Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu tendencies, leave a review telling me what to fix. Stories: The Drexel McCloud Stories series Book 1 - The Unknown McCloud (In Progress): For years, Fox though his entire family was dead, and Krystal thought everyone she knew on Cerinia was gone. But a young fox, tied to both Fox and Krystal's lives, appears to remain, but refuses to let them know of his existence. This story chronicles the back-story of Drexel McCloud, as well as introduce a villain from Cerinia who bears a grudge against the McClouds, Drexel in particular, and will stop at nothing to ensure that Star Fox no longer wins against the forces of Venom. Book 2 - Kursed and Exiled (In Progress): They call her a traitor. They call her heartless. Drexel refuses to believe them. Wracked with guilt over his brother's actions and his failure to be there for Krystal, he longs to search for her and show her that not everyone on Lylat hates her for joining up with Star Wolf. Unfortunately, his supporters are few, and if the public finds out about his support, they'll turn against him too. But he's willing to take that risk. This story is an alternate story, set after Star Fox Command's Star Wolf Returns ending. |
