Set after the events of the season 9 finale, Steve McGarrett is forced to find his way in the great in-between. There, he will face the toughest decisions of his life.

A somewhat plotless bromantic-wonder. Gen. All audiences. Steve chases a criminal into a an old WW2 bunker and into a labyrinth of undergrond tunnels which lie beneath it. Of course Danny follows ... of course he does - he's the backup, right ... Steve whump; Steve being "Steve" and Danny being "Danny" but a maybe a bit of BAMF Danny, too. A tiny bit of bad language.

Steve McGarrett was married once, many years ago. He thought that maybe living and working in his home state of Hawaii would give him the distance that he needed to try to put the heartbreak far behind him once and for all. But when his ex-wife moves to the island with her family, he realizes that there is a very real possibility that moving on is never going to happen.

Steve's life has been pretty good since the team found out about his diabetes. He's not so lonely anymore. But a phone call changes everything, and suddenly, being 'Low' might just be the least of Steve's problems. (McDanno Slash.)

When the last dying request of a Seal brother falls on Steve's shoulders, he's led back home to Hawaii in a quest to fulfill his promise, but the turbulent relationship with his father puts the duty at risk, until they're forced to work together to aid one person who will end up changing both of their lives.

After a mission is declassified, Steve receives the Navy Cross for valor in action. The ceremony brings together a slew of people from both his past and present, and he realizes that these groups know him as two completely different people. Not for the first time, he wonders which man he truly is, and which he'd rather be.

LAST CHAPTER OF LAST STORY IN SERIES. Five-0 is once again beset by chaos - or the son of chaos. Steve is once again plagued by those he cares about who may or may not return the sentiment.

In which, Danny finds himself in trouble, Steve *accidentally* comes to his rescue, but of course gets hurt in the process, and Grace, of all people, ends up saving them both! No slash. Never slash. Steve wasn't meeting Chin for another hour yet so he had time for a run along the beach before the sun disappeared completely for the day. All he had to do was sneak past the snoozing kitten perched on the arm of the couch in the other room... He was a Navy SEAL. How difficult could it be?

Steve's life as a CO had brought through many recruits who he molded and created into elite soldiers, but it was one in particular who stood out and he found to be his biggest challenge yet, not knowing her presence would save his life more than once, and mold him into a man he never knew existed. The separation that afflicted them was no match for fate that endured in their favor.

When Steve receives an invitation to a reunion between high school friends on the mainland, it forces him to relive painful memories of a lost friend that had drowned and to seek out much needed forgiveness from the twin sister. But the trip turns out to be more than he expected; closure and forgiveness aren't the only things he returns home to Hawaii with.

The case of a serial killer brutally murdering Navy Psychiatrists hits close to home for Steve McGarrett. It's the job of Five-0 to prevent any further killings and to keep Dr. Jo-Beth Jordan safe. Steve/Catherine, but lots of Steve/Danny in it. No slash.

This came to mind when the screen went black at the end of episode 2:12. Something in Joe's face and tone just wouldn't leave me alone and this is the result.

I felt the season opener needed a little extention at the end, this is my thoughts on what should/could have played out. And instead of a summary, I think the title says it all.

Another take on post Season Finale AU. I'd like to believe this one is a bit . . . different. Steve finally crashes after being declared not-guilty of the murders of Laura Hills and Governor Jameson. Warning for mental health issues. FINAL CHAPTER.
