![]() Author has written 2 stories for Star Trek: 2009. Hello, I'm Drago Van Hellsin, but you can just call me Drake or Dray. I'm an avid fan of Star Trek: The Original Series, Rurouni Kenshin, Sherlock Holmes, and anything really to do with science fiction. I've only gotten into yaoi over the past year and I've spent a lot of time role playing it, so I decided it was time to branch out on my own. I've been writing for about seven years and drawing for at least as long as that. I fell in love with Japanese culture and anime/manga when I was eleven and set my slightly obsessive nature upon it even since then. I started out with Rurouni Kenshin and it's always been a soft place in my heart, even after getting sucked into the Star Trek saga. GO SPOCK! Long live the life of Spirk. :laughs: I'm a little nervous about the thought of being criticized about my writing, and if you were to ask me, I'd be extremely modest about my own literature skills. I have completed a book with a friend of mine this last year and have adopted the tiring role of editor. It makes me certain that is not a job I want in the near future. I'm not a harsh critic myself, so I'd ask so kindly if you guys would hesitate before flaming and please focus on being constructive and not destructive. I know there's always going to be room for improvement and I accept that, but I don't want to be discouraged either. I know, I sound like a whiny child. :sweat drop: So that's me! A short blond/blue-eyed fanatic from the upper west side of the good 'ol U.S. of A. No, not Forks Twilight fans. Ha ha. Life Update: Hello fello fanficers! Hello Summer! Yes, yes...it's been a very long time, and for some of you who follow my stories, I'm sure you're very mad about the long hiatus I've taken from writing one of my more popular fics. I have some reasons, one of which being on a personal and relationship level of my own. For almost five years, I've been in a semi-long distance relationship with my own 'beloved' and I spend most if not all of my time (outside of working full time), trying to see him more often. I'm still a fan of Star Trek and I do have intentions of finishing Absolute Pin, it's only taken me this long since I was one of the many casualties caught in the whirlwind fan-world of BBC Sherlock. I'm taking the time to reread the fanfic and get back into the groove of the story, however long awaited, though with some warning. My writing style has changed somewhat, but I am going to keep with the switching point-of-view style original to Absolute Pin. I humbly ask for patience and understanding, maybe even some suggestions from those of you who have kept checking in on this fic with hope that it'd be updated soon. Who knows, maybe I'll write in some suggestions to help me finish this fic! (Also, it's been a long time since I've used a platform like fanfiction.net; in more recent months, I've been writing on the common platform Archiveofourown.com and might decide to move this whole fic there eventually, especially since their rules are more amenable to the more mature audiences).
