I'm a HUGE fan of the Marauder-Era backstory. I love reading about them; seeing how others interpet it and what they think went on. The personalities of the people we know so little about. Lily. James. Sirius. May they rest in peace. You had so much influence on those who knew you, even if they barely remember. Remus. Have the strength to go on, especially when you have so little joy in this world. Peter. What posessed the Sorting Hat to put you in Gryffindor; what did it see in you that no one else did or does? Snape. What did you do; why does Dumbledore trust you; why did you change? Most importantly, how did you all live? What made you laugh, made you cry, made you upset, made you fight, made you forgive? In what way did the choices you made effect you, effect everyone around you? There are so many questions, so many different answers, so many possibilities. The eternal question:...What really happened?

Here's my version of it. Undoubtly, not the truth. How can it be?

As an aside, this is/was posted on Godrics Hollow, by the same name and author. However, as GH has been down for nearly two months, and Merlin knows when (or if...yikes!) it will be back.
