I am an editor and agent based in Montreal, Canada who is currently developing a promotional website for talented writers. My passion is to find - and promote -writers with original voices and ideas and who use language in an innovative manner. I am not looking for something 'marketable' to supermarket shoppers.

I believe that the use of common narrative forms have stifled the evolution of literature, and communication in general. Much of what we consider 'good writing' or 'talent' is recognized as such only after monied marketing agencies have convinced a critical mass of sheep that something is 'good.' There are exceptions of course but they are anomalies, and too often the artists producing these works are only discovered after they have passed away.

Humanity appears to be at a major crossroads now and I would like to do my part in ensuring that the written word will continue to evolve and enlighten as it has since the dawn of civilization.
