Grief is not a choice;it is an invasion.

Like any guest,you can feed it,entertain it,

dance with it,

or ask it to leave.

It leaves on it own terms.

It interrupts your sleep,

obscures your vision,

inhibits the new love on its way.

I will not rise early to greet you,entertain you,or feed you in my own kitchen.

You were no guest;you were an imposition.

I don't engage you;I endure you,

much as I endure the callousness of those

whom have only met you briefly,

seen your profile as you tortured someone they knew.

Here is their clarification:

It is not self pity,it is despair

It is not self indulgence,it is endurance.

I am no coward;I face this beast until it tires of me

and sets me down.

Missing one hundred things

You know you must be empty

when you are missing one hundred things

and when you name one,

there seems to be another

right behind it.

The list seems to be

too long.

None of these things are lost, because you know where they are..

You just may not ever have them again..

Behind my eyes,this is what I know,

and when I see my neighbors

tomorrow

outside,

I will still smile for them

until I shut my door.

10 Minutes Before Tomorrow.

A reason, a season,or a lifetime.

--which one will I be?

Probably all..

they came to me for a reason

they needed me for a season

but

they'll remember me for a lifetime.

Maybe not my name

barely,my face..

but on a night of another goodbye...10 minutes before tomorrow comes

they'll remember my voice...

long after darkness covers their eyes.

It was a rude awakening; to have become aware that the entire time you had believed they were doing something for you,they had in fact been doing something to you...wake up Bella Swan...

I have been coming to Fanfiction.net for years,to enjoy the work of talented people.I have been an aspiring writer myself ,on and off throughout my life.I have always written poetry,though lately I prefer to write short fiction,as I keep correcting and editing my work as I write it.I have posted a few original peaces of my poetry (in good faith) .

I love The Sopranos fan fiction,and The Twilight series fanfiction;specifically Jacob/Bella pairing.I also appreciate the attention some authors paid to the family backgrounds of the characters;Jacob's family in particular.There have been some stellar Billy,Sarah and Rachel Black developments in some of the fics I've read.

Thank you all for your beautiful hard work,and for sharing. You are a group of beautiful minds!
