"I'm so nervous!"

"Kurt everything will be okay, the doctor has even told you that!"

"Wha-what if he's wrong and the baby comes ou-"

Blaine cut him off " It's going to be all right."

Blaine looked right into Kurt's eyes and kissed him softly on the lips. He felt better but he couldn't help but be nervous! Rachel ( who kindly surrogated) was about to have him and Blaine's baby! Kurt already loved this baby with all his heart and he could tell so did Blaine. He spoke again at last " I guess part of it is not even knowing if it's a boy or a girl." But in Kurt's head "I guess part of it is having no clothes or anything because we didn't shop for it cause we wanted a surprise!" "The Anders-Hummels" Kurt and Blaine looked up in unison. "The doctor will see you now" They got up from their seats, Kurt still a nervous wreck, and walked through the doors walking slightly behind the nurse. They went through a few hallways until they were at the doorway of Rachel's room. Rachel was in laybor screaming at contractions coming and going. Kurt walked in a practically ran to Rachel's side " Oh my god Rachel are you okay? Is the baby okay? Is everyone okay?"

"Kurt" Rachel chuckled " I'm fine it's just contractions they're normal"

Kurt signed in relief. " You should have been I the waiting room" Blaine exclaimed

"Your not nervous?" Rachel said confused.

"Of course I am nervous, but you know it's our baby's birth and I don't want to remember this day as being nervous the whole time"

"He makes a good point" Kurt thought " The birth of our child is going to be (other than our marriage) the most important event of our lives" Kurt touched Blaine's shoulder. He didn't know what to say. When Blaine turned around to face him Kurt smiled and nodded. Then all the sudden it happened. Rachel's "worst' contraction she was screaming like someone had just stabbed her. They saw the nurses whispering to each other "Whats happening?" Blaine asked

"She is ready to have your baby" she said smiling.

Kurt looked at Blaine he looked at Kurt.This was it. They were having a baby.

They wheeled Rachel to a delivery room with her screaming from contraction pains." Would you like to be there for the birth or wait here" the nurse said

"I'll go" said Blaine.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world" Kurt said looking intently at Blaine. To be honest he was scared , but he truly wound not miss it for the world. They followed into a room and the doctors said she was ready to go. It got unbearable for Kurt. He hated the sound of Rachel's screams as the doctor instructed her to push. He buried his face in Blaine's shoulder wanting to be there, but not wanting to look and all of the sudden it happen. The sweet innocent sound of a baby crying. Kurt looked up and saw his beautiful child and had never felt happier in his life. Blaine was in the same mindset. All either of them wanted to do was hold their baby in their arms. "Okay guys you to just got yourselves a lovely baby girl", The Doctor smiled.

Kurt put his hand over is mouth smiling with joy and gratefulness " It's a girl Blaine!"

The nurse handed the baby to Blaine and he cried tears of joy "It's a girl!"

Kurt looked down at their baby and after 2 minutes he was begging to hold her

"Do you have a name?" asked the nurse Blaine was about to say it when Kurt interrupted " Give us a moment"

Blaine looked confused "I thought we decided on the perfect girl name"

"Yeah" Kurt sighed " but I got something better",

"Well what is it?"

"Joy"

" Aww Kurt that's beautiful, but may I ask why?"

"Well holding her in my arms and seeing her in yours. She has already brought so much joy to the both of us so-"

"Well then it's perfect. We can make Elizabeth her second middle name"

They turned around "So you have a name?" she asked " Yes" said Kurt. He nudged for Blaine to say it. Blaine spoke up " You are looking at Joy Elizabeth Grace Anders-Hummel"

"Beautiful" Rachel Said

1 week later:

Blaine was all jumpy " Aren't you excited Kurt we get to take Joy home today!"

Kurt chuckled " yes I am very excited and even if I wasn't you would have enough for the both of us!"

This was it their last day in this hospital. "We finally get to bring Joy home and start having people come to see her and get her room finished "Kurt thought. Thinking of it he got worried "There is still so much to do baby proof the place! Ugh why didn't I thinkBlaine told him not to beat himself up and they would get it done in no time but Kurt was still nervous. They finally checked out and walked to the parking lot. "Okay Blaine you sit in the back with her because she has never been in a car before and you are the best at calming her."

" Don't worry, anything to keep you and her from getting scared", They both laughed and gave a semi passionate kiss not wanting to "get it on" in front of the baby

"I love you"

"I love you too"

The drive home went smoothly and Joy was good in the car.We they arrived Kurt practically jumped out of the car to check of Joy.

" Kurt she's okay I was back here with her the whole time" Blaine laughed. He loved when Kurt was nervous because he acts " absolutely adorable"

"Sorry it's so hard to go even two minutes without seeing her face!" They smiled looking down at her. She truly brought all the more joy into their lives.

Blaine got out of the back seat and started getting the baby carrier, milk, and diapers out. Kurt kept pestering him about not having a room set up. When they finished Blaine struggled but managed to get Joy into the carrier. They took the elevator up to their floor. Until finally they were at the door of the apartment.Kurt turned the key and all of the sudden..."SURPRISE!" Santana,Britt,Mercedes,Quinn,Puck, Both their parents, and more jumped out. Kurt and Blaine smiled and began greeting and hugging people. Brittany walked right up to Kurt. "Hey Britt"" So, Kurt I found out how nervous you were about coming home so I set up the baby room for you!" She dragged Kurt to the room they had marked would be their baby's.They walked in and Kurt almost cried! It was beautiful! Rose patterned sheets with a pottery barn polished wood crib that Kurt adored for months ever since he saw it. The room was painted pink with a Rainbow on one wall that read Joy underneath it. Kurt hugged Brittany with all his might ,"Thank you!" Kurt showed Blaine and he loved it too. Next came Burt and Carol."Hey Dad!"

" Kurt, Oh my gosh! My son had a baby!!!"

" Dad calm down remember you heart!"

" Screw that where's my granddaughter?!?"

Blaine got Joy out of the baby carrier and handed her to Burt " Be careful" Kurt squeaked before letting him hold her

" Kurt I have had a baby I know!" Burt stared down at her and cried "Kurt." He looked up smiling " She's beautiful!" Then he finally gave her up after about 20 minutes for Carol and the others to hold.

" That's the last one" Kurt said everyone had left from the party.

" Well I just got Joy to sleep so we are all alone" Blaine said smirking.

The two sunk into a passionate leaving space between them. They had to stop to breath and Kurt pushed Blaine onto the couch and climbed on top sealing the kiss once again. Kurt finally ripped him and Blaine's shirts off kissing non-stop. " WAAAAHHHHHH!" Joy wailed Blaine grudgingly went in and checked on her. When her came back the mood was gone and him and Kurt just went to bed to be woke up at least 5 more times
