Hello . . . welcome to my profile.

I used to be really into writing both fanfics and original stories... but as time has passed and I've gotten older, I've begun to lose that passion as it shifted onto other interests. Ironically, the more I came out of my shell (in middle school -- the time during which I wrote the majority of the stories posted here -- I was so introverted and stuck in my own little world that I wouldn't speak to anyone or say a word for days on end. I'm in my last year of university now, and the me of back then just seems like a distant apparition; someone removed from the present me, unattainable and implausible), the less I felt able to string together a story I could feel proud of. I began to become too fixated on getting the symbolism or word choice just right instead of letting the words flow from my fingers as they used to, a situation that has led to me giving writing up altogether.

I still tremendously enjoy reading others' fanfiction, though. That's the primary reason why I'm still active on this site. If you happen to find yourself stumbling upon my works, I humbly thank you for taking the time to read them and seeing the world through my old eyes. Cheesy though it may be (and though it primarily is applied to schoolteachers), I still think the phrase, "If you can reach even one person, touch them in someway, then you've done your job" holds greater weight than people realize. If I can reach, or have ever reached, even one person, that's enough for me. Enough for me to stroke the uncouth hair of my past broken self and let her know that, look, the world's not so bad after all. We can keep moving on; moving forward.
