Logan is not lonely. Not at all. At least, no one has to know that... He always manages to keep his head held high when he is with the others. A place where he doesn't belong. He is too different. Too strange to be considered a friend by them. Logan is lonely. Desperate and afraid. So when he hears a tiny voice calling out his name, offering friendship... he accepts.

Patton would watch from a distance, feeling and absorbing the emotions from everyone that happened to walk past his hiding place... Until one day he felt a strong and overwhelming feeling of hate, anxiety and a scent of the glorious, crimson nectar all belonging to an angsty teen named Virgil. Watching from a distance wasn't an option for him anymore...

Hanahaki disease, in definition, is an illness born from unrequited love. Love that will never be reciprocated. Love that can never be reversed. Love that is soon to become a death wish. It was accidental. It was never meant to happen like this. But now flowers once thought to be delicate and beautiful, burn and tickle the inside of Patton's throat with each day that passes.
