I had a few requests for a Charity/Phinn Hurt/Comfort fanfic, and this is what the plot bunnies gave me. Our showman is gravely injured and his family and friends must cope and help. Tears and angst ensue.

This story is how Newt gets injured, his creatures and friends care for him, and some of his past is revealed. Is it really believable that Newt battles Grindelwald, hit by magical electrical railways, struck about 20 times by magical lightning, runs around before that trying to catch his creatures, and walks off unscathed after his encounter with Grindelwald? I didn't think so. :)

I kinda hope this is obvious, but FANTASTIC BEASTS SPOILERS LIE WITHIN. It's the day after the Grindelwald incident, and Newt is staying with the Goldstein sisters as he recovers from the aftermath. He's been inside the Newtcase for a suspiciously long period of time, and Tina heads in to find him, and an emotional conversation ensues. (AKA feels and shameless fluff.)

(Spoilers for Fantastic Beasts) Pain. Always pain and darkness and fear. Credence Barebone barely escapes from being killed by the Aurors in the subway station and finds his way into Newt's case of magical creatures. The sympathetic wizard tries to help Credence remove the obscurus inside him, and also teaches him the true wizarding world. Drabbles.

Tina is nearly hit by a curse when she's a few months pregnant - Newt panics, of course.
