I was watching Xena the other day and thinking about when Xena and Gabrielle's relationship crossed the line from friendship into more than that. This is the result of my musings. A rather sweet story of how friendship can turn into romance. Set in season 5 after episode 2, it's mostly canon but I have taken some liberties regarding Xena and Gabrielle's previous relationships.
