Arnold is in college now in Wendale, Texas. During his senior semester he reunites with Helga who is different from what he remembered. But everyone changes since high school. This is the transitional stage where people figure out who they are. They establish a career, find the one, get married, start a family. Arnold is trying to figure all of that out.

Arnold and Helga are married with two children and one coming on the way. Because of his work as an archaeologist, he spends less time with his family. His work is the main reason for an argument between Helga and him. On one particular day after an argument, a wish is made by Arnold and his wish was granted. When he wakes up, his life is turned upside down.

Helga moves to another city. She decides to let another person into her heart other than Arnold, and while Helga is gone from Hillwood Arnold develops a close friendship with Lila. What happens when Helga comes back to Hillwood and comes face to face with Arnold. This story contains a lot of romance, and drama.
