![]() Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Hawaii Five-O. Hi! I love literature. My favorite authors are: Charles Dickens, J.R.R. Tolkien, and C.S. Lewis. My favorite books are: Lord of the Rings, Oliver Twist, Jane Eyre, and Till We Have Faces. I am a born-again, Bible believing Christian and I am not ashamed of it. Jesus Christ is my savior. He is the only way to heaven. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) I am a hobbit journeying through life. Persevering, day by day, until I reach my heavenly home. I really enjoy watching the Hawaii Five-O series (the old one!!!!) I love the godly characters and their fight for justice! "Book 'em, Danno!" :) I enjoy writing, and though personally I do not think I am cut out for it as a profession, I enjoy writing through characters' perspectives and showing how Christ can save even those who hope has abandoned. I am going to begin work on the second part of a new novel. It is a historical fiction piece, based on the character, The Artful Dodger, from the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. I love the Lord of the Rings movies and books. Frodo Baggins is my favorite character. I do not agree with those who say "he was too weak" and "he was tempted by the ring too easily". If one was put in his situation, do you think you would have persevered to the end? Leaving behind your home, comfort, security, dear friends, and all you held dear to save a world where half the people didn't even care or know about Sauron and the Ring? God is always with the righteous, and He delivers them. I love Oliver Twist because it is a story that touches the soul. It tells the tale of a lonely, orphan boy who does not become bitter and hopeless, though he has every right in the world's eyes. He trusts God, and never loses hope. In the end, he is given the family he always wanted. I have a heart for orphans, so this tale is close to my heart and inspired me to begin writing a novel based upon one of its memorable and unknown characters: Jack Dawkins. I love Jane Eyre because it is a story of true love. The love between Mr. Rochester and Jane Eyre is not based on lust and fruitless passions, but develops into a love that "never fails" as 1 Corinthians 13 states. Below is one of my favorite verses: “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.” 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 If you give God your life, He will use you to fulfill His purposes; and believe me, that is the only way to truly live.
