They say that the Lion chooses the Paladin. The Blue Lion chose Lance to be her Paladin. And then all the other Lions seemed pretty okay with him piloting them as well.

Lance fell hard at Garrison, unable to stop himself from adoring his rival. Then Kerberos went missing and Keith changed. Keith left him. Through time, Lance got over his broken heart, swearing to never get hurt like that again. Lance gets stuck in a room full of fear gas, and the team can't do anything but watch.

[Klance, implied Shatt in one line] So maybe, just maybe, Pidge was right. Maybe, just maybe, Keith had shot himself in the foot with his first attempt at resolving the blanket-hogging situation, because now Lance seemed to think it was a game and the rules were: steal the blankets, get sex. To be fair, Keith hadn't exactly been...dissuading him very well.

The Voltron team is learning how to get along with each other in the Castle of Lions, but Allura can't figure out why a certain paladin won't stop flirting with her. She doesn't mean to snap at him, but Lance stopping his flirtatious behavior affects the whole team.

Hawk Moth tries to akumatize Marinette, who is having none of it. He wanted a henchperson, but wound up w/ a friend. So it turns out that space is hella cold, so it's only natural that Lance ends up platonically cuddling with the other paladins. Well mostly platonically. Lance blames space for the mostly part. shklance.

Lance has avoided asking about it all night, mostly because he's pretty sure it's weird to ask your friend if they'd be interested in cuddling in the same bed.

After the jungle planet and everything that went down there, Shiro is struggling. His nightmares have gotten worse and much harder to control. But he has a new ally, and a new little brother, in Lance. And Lance is determined to help, no matter what it costs him. Meanwhile, the others have noticed how much closer Shiro and Lance are now. Some are happier about it than others.

The Voltron Force was efficient, and they took no new recruits. Though they didn't always get along, they were family. Under the stress of a mission, the team counted each other to calm down and focus. But Keith couldn't count, because counting meant he knew where everyone was, and right now all he had was a pair of bloody dog tags in place of his partner. Military AU. Klance.

After a Galra attack splits Voltron, the blue lion is damaged and falls toward the jungle planet below. Shiro follows, and now he and Lance are stranded in hostile territory, fighting to survive. Lance is injured, Shiro is having flashbacks, and help is far away. And the Galra just...keep coming.

During his night in recovery, Lance receives several visits.

Keith can hear your thoughts, you idiot, Lance reminds himself. Stop thinking! Stop thinking about how freaking attractive that jerk is! He's not!
