Hi, I'm a slightly obsessed NCIS fan. I found the archive after my niece left a link in the browser history when she borrowed my laptop on a visit not too long ago. I've given up trying to keep track of how many stories I've got posted, but I usually have a fair few story ideas floating around. Hopefully I'll get those down on 'paper' soon.

I'm currently on a fairly long running hiatus, as I recently became a mother for the first time. My daughter was born on April 29th, and as I'm sure most parents would agree, a newborn baby doesn't leave a lot of time for anything other than them. I am starting to write again, but it's a long slow process.

As you can tell from my pen name, McAbby is my ship (they're totally right for each other) though I like most of the conventional pairings, ie. Jibbs, Tiva, Leemer.Apart from that, Abby and McGee are my favourite characters, so they appear most often in my stories. I know I pretty much never write Ziva into my stories, but that's not because I don't like her- its more that I find her very very difficult to write!

Don't like slash fic, not a fan of deathfics either, although that was an alternate storyline for my fic 'Internal Damage', but I do like a nice suspenseful story, and I'm a sucker for a happy ending. I'm trying my hand at writing casefic, but I'm getting the feeling that I'm better off sticking to the more romantic stuff lol. And I'm coming to the conclusion that I really shouldn't try and maintain more than one WIP at a time as all the stories suffer.

I'm an Aussie born and bred, but I do try not to let any of the Aussie colloquialisms sneak into my stories. I do however stick to my Australian spelling. If you do pick up on a slip where I've used a word that isn't used in the States, please let me know.
