Charlie Young is an Associate at the law firm Hemp and Associates. He has kept his previous association with the White House secret. When the Santos administration decdes to pay staff legal fees he uses his cinnection to land the work. Helen Santos who has her own problems on the advice of Donna engages Charlie as well

Rumours about the First Lady's sexual orientation start to circulate and Donna and Annabeth decide to get a reporter to help them deal with the rumours. Annabeth forgets to tell something about the reporter in question.

It is early in the Santos administration and Donna is finishing off work and goes to tell the First Lady that she is going and stumbles on a secret.
