I’m Loren.

I was born on Christmas day.

I spend my days reading thick novels and fanfictions at night. People refer to me as: “That girl with the piano.” and “The girl who has a way with words.” (sounds cliché, but those were the exact words people say). I have wrote for various magazines and plays. I’m part of my school’s Glee club for 3 years, now. I play football and chess.

I’m one of those people you would see reading a book, laughing her arse off, or singing loudly despite the strange looks people throw her way.

I’m rather a zany girl but little did they know that I have a sickness called ‘depression’. It’s not easy to cope with so I make it a habit to draw or write on my wrists everyday to… well, avoid what needs to be avoided.

I am tough yet very sensitive.

I am an optimist and I refuse to let anyone ruin my day.

I am REALLY fun to talk to (and that’s not just my mum talking). It’s as if you’re talking to someone who’s been smoking pot (I’m just kidding).

People see me intimidating but that’s just a mask.

Behind all that bravado is a girl who hates speaking alone in public. Hence, that’s why I write.

I write whenever I feel any kind of emotion. Pain, sorrow, happiness, hopefulness, and the list goes on and on and on.

But mostly, I write because I know that no one would judge me whenever I do what I’m really good at. I wouldn’t worry if my voice cracks, if I miss any notes, if I’m ready to bolt to the door, or trip on my feet. It’s just me with my pen and paper. The world hardly seems relevant whenever I write in my own world.
