What starts out as a simple cheating spouse case for one of the city's most notorious residents, quickly goes awry and triggers a series of events that unravel a twisted plot leading her to the last person she'd expect to find. Miranda reflects on the first few years following the end of the Reaper War, the nature of family, and the strange paths life seems to take around Shepard and the unexpected companion he found that helped him through his grief. Something of a companion piece to Promises as another 'AU' ending to FDEWB, but they're not related.

Sometimes the best way to fix things is to leave and start over. So, Veronica Mars says good-bye. Based on the movie spoilers Rob Thomas has been dropping on Twitter. Focus is on Veronica but features Keith and Logan mainly, with Wallace, Mac, Piz, and Parker thrown in.

This is my version of what the first episode of Season 4 should have been. Veronica returns to Neptune and Hearst for her sophmore year. She has to contend with the Castle and her own life while she helps a fellow student who is being harrassed and threatened by an unknown source.
