When all of Rick's plans fail and the prison is lost, the group is separated. Before they can reconnect at their new camp, Daryl decides it's time for Plan "D". But can Carol handle it and is Daryl up to the task of charming this damaged woman in a broken world? Rated T for some Dixon language, but rating may change to M in later chapters.

After a head injury lands Daryl unconscious, he begins to hallucinate about what things might have been like if the zombie apocalypse had never happened and he'd gotten to meet Carol. Story alternates between reality at the prison and Daryl's hallucinations.

After the fall of the prison, Daryl and Carol have found happiness together. But what happens when a new member of the group sets her eyes on Daryl?

Takes place after the events of my Daryl and Carol one shot "Light To Dark". With the pressure the group is under to stay alive - they find there are many discoveries about one another to be made, diamonds in the rough so to speak. I own no rights to TWD, comic book or television show.
