I'm just going to post the generic fantrollsfordummies Homestuck Troll OC FAQ here in lieu of any actual explanation.

Trolltag: aerialOnslaught

Tag explanation: aerial because of Hawkdad, Onslaught because trolls are trained to fight from a very young age, seadwellers especially. Also they sounded cool together.

Name: Arrial Castor

Namesake: Literally I just thought of Castor by sifting through six-letter word combinations. Arrial comes from both six-letter combinations and me unconsciously thinking of how mermaids and sea-dwellers are both aquatic.

Age: 6 sweeps, *this* close to being 7

Gender: FTM (don't wanna accept it, don't. You're entitled to your own opinions.)

Blood: Eminence, #6c3082

Powers and How they work: Seadwellers very rarely have magic or psychic powers, Arrial being no exception. So no ACTUAL powers, but he likes pretending

Symbol: Can you imagine an uppercase S that almost looks like a g as well? 'Cause that's pretty much what it is

Strife Specibus and Examples: Bladekind primary, Riflekind secondary/never used barely ever. Mostly just, like, rapiers, or something very similar. His Ancestor had a rifle but he never uses it.

Quirk: double y's, putting 'in' instead of 'ing'

- Capitalization: only in place names and when EMPHASIS is required (or when yelling, that too.)

- Punctuation: question marks and exclamation points only, and sparingly

- Prefix/Suffix: nope.

- Replacements: when the letter is in caps, he replaces S with 5. so not normally but when he YELL5 basically

- Emotes: :I, :T, :/, :D. basically a lot of passive ones and a spare few evil-looking ones.

- Other: Nope

- Laughter: not the conventional means of laughter like haha or eheh or something, instead he just does little *snrk*s

- Nicknames for others: Usually just uses the last syllable or two from someone's name, i.e. dan for Eridan, peta for Nepeta, zi for Malizi, etc.

Interests: birds (featherbeasts), figuring out people's personalities, fighting, watching GrubTube for endless hours and learning absolutely pointless stuff, puzzles, taking care of his friends and lusus

Dislikes: FUCKING DOGS (for some reason? probably bird-related), people that are unnecessarily mean, socializing, lowbloods, people that he has a hard time reading/figuring out

Basic personality: He isn't productive often, but when he is he's hardcore productive like he's making up for slacking off. He's really good at unraveling people, but nearly no one can get past his own walls easily. He also gets flustered easily, though it can be kind of hard to tell, and he's always anxious. Might also have a bit of internal war because half of him wants to show lowbloods no mercy and the other half wants to be friends with them. Honestly he's got a pretty bland personality until you get through his walls.

Hemoloyalty: Very strong. 8.5/10. Much loyalty. Many hemo.

Lusus: some giant hawk-looking bird that's like twice his size and tries to be doting and comes off as clingy and babying him. He does love her though.

Hive: It's on land, but the basement is in the ocean. It's a shipwreck, but Hawkmom decided to make a giant-ass nest on the top. So he mostly just lives on the middle and basement floors.

Ancestor and Story: Well you see. No one knows Arrial's ancestor's real name, they never shared it and they're known simply by their sign or by Faceless. There are no records of them apart from the journals they stashed and Arrial found, so their story isn't widely known and they never had a big impact on history. But they did have a really active life, and traveled a lot, and also had a crapton of relationships and breakups and stuff.
